Alex arrived beside Bill very soon and took a look at the Dragon Blood Flower. Although he did not really fancy the two people, he still thanked them and said: "Thank you for helping . One day, if you might need my help and I'm there, I'll definitely help you!"
"No need, no need. Now that we have brought you here, we'll take our leave first!" Kuntz waved his hand and exchanged glances with Bill before saying the above words. Then he left with Bill, leaving Alex behind.
Alex of course knew that these two people were in a hurry to leave because they were afraid of the Level 8 demonic beast. But wasn't. He has many ways to deal with these kinds of demonic beasts.
Shaking his head, he jumped down and landed in front of the Dragon Blood Flower. This flower was about 5 inches big and was shaped like a dragon. Moreover, it was completely red in color and slled like blood. This is also the reason why it was called Dragon Blood Flower.
"Roar!"
The mont Alex extended his hand to pick the flower, a monstrous aura locked on him. A beast's roar echoed and a huge demonic beast appeared 10 ters away from Alex. This demonic beast actually looked a lot like Llama, however, unlike Llamas, it had scales all over its body instead of soft fur. Also, its eyes were red and it actually had a pair of wings.
Alex was not in the mood to fight, so he let the little Light Devouring Beast erupt with its aura that instantly scared off the Llama-type demonic beast. The Level 8 demonic beast that has been ruling this ever-changing terrain for who knows how many years, hurriedly ran away, not daring to stop, and turned back at all.
After that, Alex easily obtained the Dragon Blood Flower.
And with this, his mission was completed. All he has to do now is to submit the mission to the Mission Hall. But that is sothing he'll do later.
Now that he was done with the mission, it was ti to complete his true purpose. He was going to look for the 3rd Volu of the Scarlet Fla Saber Technique.

To refrain from eting both Kuntz and Bill again, Alex headed in another direction. It was at this mont, however, that he noticed sothing beneath his feet.
"The further I head in this direction, the higher the temperature of the ground below becos."
Alex had known that Bill and Kuntz were exploring and inspecting the phenonon of the Burning Sky Plain these past few days but his mind had mostly been focused on hurriedly finding the Dragon Blood Flower and then looking for the last volu of Scarlet Fla Saber Technique. But now that he discovered that the further he walks the higher the temperature becos, he continued walking on.
At the sa ti, he unleashed his spiritual sense to the maximum. Along the way, he was very cautious.
After about five hours, Alex suddenly sensed sothing. Frowning a little, observed carefully and muttered: "There is sothing there. I should look at it carefully."
Alex quietly went in the direction he just sensed. Not long after, he saw a demonic beast.
"It seems to be an Illusory Spirit Beast, a Level 7 demonic beast that specializes in illusions and has a very strong spiritual force."
The Illusory Spirit Beast was a rat-type demonic beast that was roughly the size of a kitten and emitted a misty light, as if a layer of mist covered its whole body. This light made people unable to see its appearance properly, apart from the pair of faint purple eyes that kept swiveling that appeared to be extrely cute.
Once Alex walked a little closer, the illusory Spirit Beast finally discovered him. Seeing Alex's appearance, it gave a shrill scream, and then the mist surrounding it exploded, and it actually turned into a fiendish-looking Demonic Beast.
"You dare to display such petty tricks in front of ."
Alex was not intimidated. He was already prepared to encounter illusions created by the demonic beasts. Without wasting a second, he charged ahead!
As for that Illusory Spirit Beast, when it saw that Alex was not afraid of the illusion it had created, it was montarily so frightened that it ran with its tail between its legs. After running for a while it changed back into its original form.
Alex didn't chase after the Illusory Spirit Beast. He calmly sensed the surroundings. And after a few seconds, his face revealed traces of joy and surprise.
"This is... Dream Spirit Grass. There are actually a lot of Dream Spirit Grasses. It is no wonder that Illusory Spirit Beast was lurking here!"
Although Alex sensed many Dream Spirit Grasses that are also relatively rare, he didn't imdiately go to pick them up. Because he had another concern. The deeper he trodden, the surrounding temperature got higher and the charred soil on the earth faintly revealed the red glow of fire below.
"What exactly is happening in this Burning Sky Plain?"
Alex observe his surroundings as he slowly walked forward. This was also the direction of Dream Spirit Grass. As walked forward, he continued to observe his surroundings. These blackened parts of the plains seemingly and gradually changed color.
After a short while, in front of Alex's vision, a huge crater on the ground appeared. This crater seed to have been ford by a teorite that might have fallen here a very very long ti ago.
More importantly, in the deepest area of this crater, a strong aroma could be detected. Alex convulsed from this sweet scent. Staring at it again, Alex saw that the crater was actually filled with Dream Spirit Grasses. There were at least thousands of stalks of Dream Spirit Grass.
Seeing so many Dream Spirit Grasses, Alex took a deep breath. He had never thought that there would actually be thousands of stalks of Dream Spirit Grass gathered here. After a short while, he dashed towards the depths of this huge crater.
These thousands of Dream Spirit Grasses made Alex montarily forget about the temperature. It was so high that the air around him already contained sparks. Around the periter of the Dream Spirit Grasses, a small black-colored tal slate the size of a palm was intensely shaking and flas were emitting from it!
In the process of going forward, Alex had already sensed that sothing was amiss. At this point he suddenly saw that at the heart of all the Dream Spirit Grasses, a pile of flas was set ablaze, violently burning the surrounding Dream Spirit Grasses. Instantly all of the thousand stalks of Dream Spirit Grasses were engulfed by the flas!
Alex was so horrified that he frantically retreated a few steps. Even for him, this temperature was too high. After a few seconds, he suddenly realized sothing and muttered: "There seed to be a very strange object inside that flas. Its destructive nature is imnse, I think I should leave this place as soon as possible!"
Alex imdiately turned back and escaped. It was at this point the fla that was spreading apart had turned into a sea of fire. As Alex turned back, he saw the huge flas continued to set everything ablaze. It was like an epidemic, which headed in all directions!
"Earlier I saw a tal slate, and the flas seed to co out from it. What exactly is that tal slate?"
As Alex was escaping, he thought of those thousands of Dream Spirit Grasses that were devoured into the sea of fla. For a mont, Alex was unable to accept the fact that they were all gone.
If only his speed had been quicker earlier, who knows if he might've been able to obtain more!
But when he thought about the Dream Spirit Flowers, he suddenly rembered about the tal slate that imdiately attracted his attention.
Alex once again looked back and saw the sea of fire that was continuously spreading across the Burning Sky Plain. At this mont, countless demonic beasts were escaping the Burning Sky Plain, which was a rather pitiful sight.
"I don't know exactly what that tal slate was; it could actually create such a gigantic fla! If this carries on, the whole Burning Sky Plain may be set ablaze."
During the mont he halted to take a look at it, the fla soon caught up with him.
"The tal slate should be a treasure, if one can control it, it could have endless benefits. But this fla is simply too big and right now it has already covered a radius of ten kiloters. If this fla continues increasing, the whole of Burning Sky Plain might very well be filled with flas, and I will too be unable to obtain that tal slate. Not to ntion, I didn't even obtain the Third Volu of the Scarlet Fla Saber Technique. So... In the end, it is only a waste of ti."
