After class, Shen Zhaozhao returned to her rented apartnt and was surprised to find that Sheng Chuyi had already co back and even cooked a al.
“What’s the occasion today to cook all this delicious food?” As soon as Shen Zhaozhao entered the door, she slled the food, changed her shoes, and entered the dining room, her eyes lighting up at the sight of the table full of tasty dishes.
Due to the other’s busy schedule, lately the two of them had been either eating in the cafeteria or ordering takeout.
Since the foot injury, Sheng Chuyi had tried to make ti to cook for her, though the dishes were sowhat simple.
Such a lavish dinner had only been made when they first moved in.
“Wash your hands and let’s eat,” Sheng Chuyi called out to her.
A lack of enthusiasm for als suggests a problem in thinking. Shen Zhaozhao couldn’t wait to wash her hands and sit at the table.
As for future aspirations and life plans, she pushed them all to the back of her mind in front of the delicious food.
Shen Zhaozhao grabbed her chopsticks and suddenly realized sothing, looking up at Sheng Chuyi across the table, “Is there sothing you want to tell ?” The sudden preparation of so much food made her feel like sothing was about to happen.
“Let’s talk after we eat,” Sheng Chuyi said.
His words made Shen Zhaozhao lose her appetite a bit.
Shen Zhaozhao put down her chopsticks, “Maybe you should say it first?” His behavior was making her feel like she was at a precarious dinner, uneasy at heart.
Could it be that he had finally realized they were not suitable for each other and wanted to break up?
Just then, Sheng Chuyi stood up, walked into the room, and soon ca out holding a bouquet of flowers.
Shen Zhaozhao looked at him in surprise, “For ?”
“Yeah, do you like them?” Sheng Chuyi handed the flowers to Shen Zhaozhao.
“I like them very much.” No girl could resist the charm of flowers, but…
“Is today so special day?” Shen Zhaozhao thought hard but couldn’t rember anything.
Sheng Chuyi: “It’s not.”
Shen Zhaozhao looked at him, puzzled, “All this, the flowers and a feast, it makes really anxious!”
Sheng Chuyi paused for a mont, looking at her suspiciously, “Anxious about what?”
Shouldn’t a girl be happy to receive flowers?
Shen Zhaozhao: “Is it that you’ve finally realized we aren’t suitable and want to break up?”
Sheng Chuyi’s expression darkened: “What are you talking about? Who breaks up and still gives flowers?”
Shen Zhaozhao pursed her lips, “Just because I haven’t seen it doesn’t an it doesn’t happen; maybe so people like the ceremonial feel of it.”
Sheng Chuyi’s expression darkened even more, and for a mont he felt an urge to take back the flowers. What on earth was this girl thinking all day?
“Don’t worry, it’s not about breaking up,” he said, sowhat helplessly.
“Then what is it for?” Shen Zhaozhao let out a small sigh of relief and asked.
As long as it wasn’t about breaking up, she still rather liked him.
Sheng Chuyi: “I’m apologizing to you.”
“Why apologize?” Shen Zhaozhao blinked, puzzled.
He hadn’t done sothing wrong to her, had he?
The next second, she heard Sheng Chuyi say, “Because I made you unhappy!”
