In the luxury shop, Lina was still awaiting Ling Tianya’s reply. She had just asked Ling Tianya about her mother, but Ling Tianya’s mood suddenly turned sour.

Ling Tianya shook her head. “No, I just don’t really know how to answer your question. Things are complicated between my mother and .”
Ling Tianya truthfully didn’t know how to answer Lina’s question. The topic regarding her mother, to Ling Tianya, was a long story to share and was a topic she was tired of.
“Strictly speaking, I don’t know who my mother is,” Ling Tianya said impassively, passing on the shirt in her hands to the salesgirl. “Please help wrap this up.”
“Sure!” the salesgirl said cheerfully, retrieving the shirt.
“You don’t know who your mother is?” Lina’s expression turned blank, feeling sothing within her getting stirred up. “What do you an?”
“I had always thought that my mother was my biological one. But one day, she told that I wasn’t her biological daughter, that I wasn’t from the Ling family. She didn’t know whose daughter I was. From that mont on, I didn’t know who my mother was, who I was...”
“So, you’re in such a situation?” Lina took in a deep breath. As sothing struck her, it made her think back to her daughter, whom she had lost contact with many years ago. Just as her lips shook, seemingly about to say sothing, her phone rang.
The call was from Eric, and that call had not only put a halt to her thoughts but also what she wanted to say, “Let answer this call.”
“Sure.” After saying that, Ling Tianya made her way to the racks of clothes, not wanting to disturb Lina.
Lina’s gaze remained on Ling Tianya before picking up the phone. “What is it?”
“Chairwoman, there’s news regarding your daughter...”
Eric’s voice sounded from the phone, but Lina was utterly shocked by what Eric had just shared. As soon as she heard the word “daughter,” she was so shocked that she went into a daze, only able to listen to Eric finish what he intended to.
Upon realizing that sothing was up with Lina, Ling Tianya stopped looking at the clothes, making her way over to show so concern.
“I got it. I’m on my way now.”
At the sight of Lina putting down her phone, Ling Tianya opened her mouth, about to ask her what had happened. At the mont, Lina gave Ling Tianya a hug, one that Ling Tianya could feel Lina shuddering out of utter joy.
With Lina’s sudden hug, Ling Tianya couldn’t help but tremble. At that mont, that feeling of warmth, such an unfamiliar warmth, felt as if it was spring again. She felt like a ray of sunshine was shining on her gently on her as she lay on a grass patch as flowers blood, surrounding her body with warmth and tenderness.

“Tianya! My daughter has been found!” The excitent was clear in Lina’s voice, and she was choking up evidently.
“Congratulations, Chairwoman Li!” Ling Tianya was sincerely congratulating her from the bottom of her heart. But it was just that, sowhere in her heart, she felt let down. She herself was surprised that she felt let down, why was she feeling this way?

Ling Tianya watched as Lina left the luxury shop, before turning around, making eye contact with the salesgirl who was still busy packing up the purchases. She offered her a weak smile, all the while masking that strange feeling of being let down.
Lina made her way out of the store in a rush but suddenly halted her footsteps. When she turned around, Ling Tianya was already facing away from her...
