In the Blackwatch Command Center at New Clark City on January 30th, 2024, the atmosphere was tense but controlled. Richard Gonzales, the head of Blackwatch, was directly engaged in overseeing the initial stages of Operation Ironclad Advance.

"What’s the latest update on our naval forces?" Richard inquired, his voice steady, betraying none of the tension that the situation warranted.

"Sir, our fleet has successfully engaged and neutralized a significant number of Flyers," Mark, his second-in-command, reported from his console. "It appears Lin Feng is aware of our approach, given the aerial resistance we encountered."

Richard nodded, understanding the implications. "Once Lin Feng has seen us, there’s no retreating. We’re fully committed now," he stated, acknowledging the gravity of their decision to advance.

The conversation then shifted to a higher authority. On the main screen, President Barry, overseeing the operation from the Cheyenne Mountain Complex, appeared, absorbing the information.

"Have the Flyers been the only opposition we’ve faced so far?" President Barry inquired, his tone suggesting he anticipated more resistance from Lin Feng’s forces.

Richard responded with a cautionary note. "Mr. President, while the Flyers represent the initial wave of defense, they’re among Lin Feng’s less formidable assets. We must stay vigilant for more substantial threats."

The President nodded in acknowledgnt. Richard turned his eyes to the main screen which displayed nurous screens showing the fleet in position.

"Let’s get an update on the aquatic threats. Sonar operators, report your findings."

One of the sonar operators, stationed at a console filled with glowing screens and data readouts, quickly responded.

"Sir, current sonar sweeps show no signs of underwater threats in the fleet’s vicinity. The waters are clear of any large anomalies that could indicate the presence of aquatic monsters."

"Keep the sonar active and maintain constant vigilance. Lin Feng’s capabilities are not to be underestimated. He could deploy threats at any mont."

The operator nodded, turning back to his instrunts, the rhythmic beep of the sonar echoing softly in the background. Richard then shifted his attention back to the broader strategy at play.

"Keep updated on any changes. I want hourly reports on our fleet’s status and imdiate notification if anything unusual is detected," Richard commanded. And before he could hear the acknowledgnt from his crew, sothing happened.

Suddenly, the calm in the command center was shattered by an urgent voice from one of the sonar operators. "Sir, we’ve detected sothing massive moving beneath the water, directly in the path of our fleet. The sonar signature is... it’s huge, resembling that of the Abyssal Leviathan we’ve briefed on."

Richard’s focus snapped to the operator, his previous instructions montarily forgotten. "Show ," he demanded, his tone laced with urgency.

The operator quickly adjusted the display, bringing up a live feed of the sonar readings on the main screen for all to see. A massive, shadowy outline moved beneath the waves, its size and movent patterns unmistakably predatory.

Richard’s gaze hardened as he assessed the threat. "Inform the fleet imdiately. They need to be on high alert. Deploy anti-submarine warfare units and prepare for engagent. We can’t let it reach the fleet."

"Sir, yes, sir!" the operator responded, fingers flying over the controls to relay the critical information to the fleet.

Just beneath the fleet, the Virginia Class Submarine of the Blackwatch Naval Forces was already in a state of heightened alertness. Captain Jason, commanding the vessel, received the imdiate directive from Blackwatch Command. His response was swift and decisive. "Battle stations," he ordered, his voice echoing through the submarine’s intercom system. The crew, well-trained and highly experienced, sprang into action, each mber knowing their role with precision.

The Virginia Class, one of the most advanced submarines in the Blackwatch fleet, was equipped for a variety of missions, including anti-submarine warfare (ASW), intelligence gathering, and direct engagent with underwater threats. The captain’s priority was to arm the submarine’s weapons systems for engagent. "Load all torpedo tubes, prepare to launch Mark 48 ADCAP torpedoes on my command," Captain Jason instructed the weapons officer. The Mark 48 ADCAP (Advanced Capability) torpedoes were designed for precision strikes against high-value underwater targets, capable of destroying enemy submarines and large aquatic threats like the Abyssal Leviathan with their high-explosive warheads.

Simultaneously, the sonar team intensified their monitoring, tracking the massive entity moving toward the fleet. "Update on target’s bearing and speed," Captain Jason requested, his eyes fixed on the digital displays showing the leviathan’s position.

The sonar technician, analyzing the incoming data, responded, "Target is maintaining course, speed consistent with previous sightings of Abyssal Leviathans. Estimated range to target, 2000 yards and closing."

"Very well, bring us to attack depth, prepare for silent running," the captain ordered, his mind focused on outmaneuvering the creature and positioning his submarine for a direct hit. The Virginia Class Submarine’s stealth capabilities were unmatched, allowing it to approach targets undetected under the right conditions.

As the submarine adjusted its depth, Captain Jason reviewed the engagent plan with his crew. "We have one shot at this. The Mark 48s are our best bet. Once in position, we’ll fire a spread to ensure a hit. Keep an eye on the sonar; I don’t want this thing to surprise us."

Minutes later, the submarine was in position. "Target is within range. Fire," Captain Jason commanded, his voice calm but authoritative.

The submarine shuddered slightly as the torpedo tubes expelled their deadly payload. The Mark 48 ADCAP torpedoes, propelled by their own engines, raced through the water towards the Abyssal Leviathan, guided by the sonar data fed into their systems.

"Torpedoes away, tracking towards the target," announced the weapons officer. The crew waited in tense silence as the torpedoes closed the distance to the leviathan.

With the first salvo of Mark 48 ADCAP torpedoes launched, Captain Jason and his crew aboard the Virginia Class Submarine awaited the outco of their attack on the detected massive underwater threat. The Mark 48 ADCAP, known for its advanced guidance and explosive power, was their best weapon against such a formidable adversary.

"Torpedo impact in 3... 2... 1..." the weapons officer counted down, tension palpable in the air.

The expected confirmation of a successful hit ca through. "Direct hits confird, sir," reported the sonar technician. "Analyzing damage assessnt now."

However, the anticipated outco was not as straightforward as they had hoped. The sonar feedback showed disturbances in the water, indicative of the target’s continued movent. "Sir, the target... it’s still advancing. The Abyssal Leviathan appears to have sustained the torpedo hits but remains operational," the sonar technician updated, disbelief evident in his voice.

Captain Jason’s expression turned grim. As expected, this wouldn’t be easy.

"Reload torpedo tubes. Prepare for a second salvo. This ti, aim for any identified weak points or vital areas," he ordered, not willing to concede defeat. "Adjust the torpedo’s targeting paraters based on the new sonar data. We need to maximize the impact."

The submarine’s crew worked with renewed urgency, loading the torpedo tubes for another attack. The Mark 48 ADCAP torpedoes were not only capable of high-speed pursuit but could also be re-targeted mid-course based on updated sonar information, a feature Captain Jason intended to utilize to its fullest.

"Torpedo tubes loaded, sir. Awaiting your command," announced the weapons officer, ready for the second strike.

Captain Jason took a mont to assess the situation, considering the leviathan’s trajectory and the fleet’s safety. "Fire when ready. Let’s make sure it counts this ti," he commanded.

As the second salvo of torpedoes raced through the depths towards the leviathan, the crew held their breath, hoping for a decisive outco. The anticipation was cut short by the sonar’s confirmation of another series of impacts.

"Sir, multiple hits confird on the Leviathan’s midsection. Observing significant behavioral changes in the target," the sonar technician reported a hint of optimism in his voice.

However, the Abyssal Leviathan’s resilience was beyond their expectations. While the torpedoes inflicted considerable damage, the creature continued its advance, though at a reduced speed.

"Damage inflicted, but the target remains a threat. Sir, it’s slowing down but not out," the sonar technician updated.

"Shit....looks like we are going to need backup from the fleet. Contact the Arleigh-Burke and the Ticonderoga Class."
