“What do you an?”

Henry shrugged and answered.

“No. Transfer students are famous these days. They got perfect scores on the transfer exam, and they have a sister nad Toravin, and they’re incredibly pretty, so it’s understandable that everyone would be interested.”

Reasons why students would be interested in lody. Noah agreed with the reasons Henry gave.

Above all, the school atmosphere that had been chaotic with ghost stories and stories since last sester seed to have been reversed because of lody.

The students needed sothing else to focus on.

“Plus, it seems like you and I have a personal relationship, so everyone will be watching.”

Noah let out a troubled breath at Henry’s addition.

“We’re not particularly close. We often t because we needed each other.”

“We’re particularly close!”

Noah shook his head at Henry’s words, fixed his belt, and looked out the window.

The cricket match was still in progress, and lody, who could be seen from afar, was still playing hard.

‘There’s definitely sothing strange.’

lody’s ga play was a little strange. She was doing her best, but she kept making ridiculous mistakes.

For example, she fell down alone when no one was there, or she dropped the bat she was holding.

Instead, the bowler Dante Abe Wellington was carrying hard.

Due to the nature of the F class, which was full of PE students, only one PE student could be selected as the class representative, and that was Dante.

And as expected, he was showing off his talent without giving up on the expectations of the F class.

“Isn’t that the guy Hastings chose over you?”

“It seems wrong to say he abandoned . To be exact, his partner just changed due to conflicts of interest.”

“That’s what I an.”

Henry lightly ignored Noah's words and smiled, patting his back.

"Cheer up, buddy."

Noah sohow found Henry's face annoying.

Noah, who was worried, was shaken out of his thoughts by Henry's voice that followed.

"Oh. Class F really can't get good grades. What's wrong with lody Hastings?"

Noah also looked out the window.

Class F was still struggling against students who seed to be Class B.

"I went to watch the training, but it wasn't like that even during training. I guess I was really nervous. It's too bad."

"It would be nice if the efforts you've made so far were recognized, as you said. If you keep doing that and end up getting resented by the kids in your class, that would be the biggest problem."

Noah, who was mumbling while watching lody's condition, raised his head when silence flowed.

Henry was looking at him with a sowhat subtle expression.

"Why?"

Henry shook his head at his question.

“No. I must have been mistaken. No way....”

“Tell .”

“Fine. I just imagined sothing ridiculous.”

Henry scratched the back of his head awkwardly and asked Noah.

“Weren’t you planning on going out?”

Only then did Noah rember his business and nodded.

His business, if you will, was to go to the schoolyard and watch lody Hastings play.

“I guess I should go.”

He hurried out of the classroom.

Gasp. Gasp.

I let out a deep breath. My stamina was reaching its limit.

All my teammates were looking at . The opposing team’s bowler was preparing to throw the ball.

This ti, I absolutely had to hit the ball. It was my last chance to score.

“lody, focus on the ball. Leave everything else to your teammates. You have a stronger focus than others, so you can do it. I trust you.”

The words the student council president had said to during training rang in my ears.

“Hastings.”

As I was trying to hold onto my confused mind, Dante spoke to from the side.

“Just think about yourself. Don’t overdo it.”

His words gave more strength. As the burden eased, I felt more motivated.

The ghosts kept gathering, and now it was hard to see ahead.

They were translucent, but it was difficult because there were so many of them.

But I couldn’t talk to a ghost in front of the entire school. How could I get out of this situation?

lody, think carefully. Your strength is your head, not your body.

‘Angle. Yes. Let’s calculate the angle.’

We calculate the angle at which the opposing team’s bowler throws the ball and predict where the ball will fly.

Since I’m weak physically, it would be better to use technique to win.

I took a deep breath and held the bat tightly.

Co.

Raven was hiding behind a large tree, watching the cricket match taking place in the schoolyard.

Just then, lody, who didn’t see the ball thrown by a B-class student, got hit directly in the face by the ball.

‘Those damn kids!’

Raven twitched as if she was going to jump out at any mont, then clenched her teeth.

Fortunately, Dante was taking good care of her.

“Why is the F-class Batman so bad? No, he’s even watching the ball?”

At that mont, soone nearby grumbled, and all the students sitting in the stands looked in that direction.

With expressions like ‘What the f*ck is that?’

Raven also glared at him with a face that wasn't much different from his.

"Hey, why are you saying that?"

Soone pointed out the grumbling male student. Then the students nearby added their words one by one.

"That's right. You're really bad. How can you say that?"

"I guess there's soone here who doesn't know how much Hastings has worked."

"Isn't it amazing that he's working so hard?"

"We worked so hard, even shedding coffee. At first, he was an idiot who couldn't even hold the bat properly."

"But now that I see ◈ Nоvеlіgһт ◈ (Continue reading) Hastings' posture, he doesn't seem to be in his usual tension. I guess he must be really nervous?"

"I feel so bad for him. He still hit three consecutive balls during training."

"That can happen when you're nervous. Even a kid who gets a perfect score on the transfer exam makes a mistake when he's nervous."

All the students around him nodded in agreent at the last student's words.

The grumbling student was embarrassed by the criticism from several students, and then he couldn’t help but turn away.

Even Raven, who was about to get angry, lost his cool.

The students’ reactions were more friendly than he had expected.

Clap clap clap-

Raven turned his head again when he heard applause.

The ga was over. Class B had won.

lody was panting, wiping the sweat from her forehead.

She was blankly watching the ga results, and suddenly the corners of her mouth drooped as if she was upset.

That expression was so pitiful... .

It was enough to make the onlookers want to step forward and protect her. Soone in the stands whistled as they watched her sobbing.

Whistle-!

“Hastings, fighting! You lost, but you fought well!”

“Good job, Hastings! You’re amazing!”

“That’s the best! Don’t be discouraged! You worked hard!”

lody turned her head in surprise at the students’ comforting shouts.

She tilted her head with a puzzled expression.

The students in the stands smiled happily as if they were parents witnessing their children’s growth while watching lody.

Most students seed to have similar feelings, regardless of whether they were in class F or class A, third or fourth grade, or first grade.

Beep-

At that mont, the whistle blew again.

It was the sound of the whistle signaling the start of the next ga.
