I was alone in Cheswind, but this ti I was less scared because I had companions.

As the tension eased, my body lost its strength and I stumbled and almost fell, but Erica and Sally each grabbed my arms and supported .

“Haa, I thought I was going to die from fear.”

Sally stumbled, unable to control her body as if her legs had lost their strength. Erica also wiped away her cold sweat.

“By the way, what does lody do?”

“Yeah. What did you do before you ca to school? Were you in a convent? If not a priest, a shaman?”

I was bewildered by Erica’s barrage of questions. A priest is one thing, but what about a shaman?

“No, Erica. The shaman lineage is currently only passed down to the Duke of Lauderdale and the Earl of Clarendon. Then lody should be a noble.”

Erica continued to explain, since I still couldn't understand Sally's words.

"The two families are famous for sealing evil spirits together with Sister Gloria 100 years ago. Let's talk about that later, but thanks to you, I survived, lody. Thank you."

"Thank you, lody."

Sally started to cry as she thanked . Erica's eyes, which seed to be free of tears, also turned red.

It was a feeling similar to camaraderie. When they shed tears, I also felt a sudden surge of emotion.

We hugged each other and eventually burst into tears.

[Now is not the ti for that. We should go up to the surface quickly.]

The black man who was watching us reminded us of the situation again.

[Anna Belloui was the dium. The reason the door appeared was because they found a dium.]

According to the black man’s guess, the ergency exit of the warehouse beca a ‘passageway connecting the other world and the real world’ because they found a dium.

“Let’s move first. We have to get out of here.”

Erika, who quickly ca to her senses, calmly assessed the situation. Sally patted my shoulder.

We continued walking down the long hallway together.

When I wondered when the hallway would end, I found a staircase.

It was a staircase leading to the lobby on the first floor of the dormitory.

We climbed the dark stairs, relying on each other.

After a long ti, we were finally able to arrive at the lobby together. Sally and Erica sat down on the floor again and shed tears.

‘Huh? There are students in the lobby... ... .’

It was already bright outside, and I could see students passing by the lobby. Everyone looked at us strangely.

“It would be better to talk to the headmaster first.”

There were many questions about this incident, but for now, we decided to do what needed to be done right away rather than asking questions.

So we headed to the headmaster’s office.

In the headmaster’s office, the headmaster on duty was working.

She was an old female headmaster. She took off her reading glasses and raised her head.

“You were locked in the basent?”

We nodded vigorously to her question. Then the headmaster frowned.

“Students, this building doesn’t have a basent.”

“We were in the basent just now?”

“That’s right. I thought there wasn’t a basent in this building, but there was.”

Erika agreed with my words. Then the headmaster clicked her tongue and said.

“Go back and check again. There is no basent.”

I looked at the headmistress with suspicious eyes and ran back to the lobby on the first floor with Erica and Sally.

“Huh? /N_o_v_e_l_i_g_h_t/ There really isn’t one.”

We clearly went up to the first floor via the stairs in the lobby. However, there was no sign of stairs in the lobby.

“See? There aren’t any stairs going down to the basent, right?”

At that mont, the headmistress followed and asked . I nodded with a bewildered face.

“You must have been very tired. There have been a lot of reports from students who had similar experiences to mine lately.”

The headmistress patted my shoulder with a pitiful expression.

“Did everyone say they’d been to the basent?”

“So students said they saw sothing in the elevator, and others said they saw a strange woman in their dorm rooms or hallways. It’s all different. Everyone’s seeing things because of academic stress. This school’s academic schedule isn’t all that hard.”

She looked like she absolutely didn’t believe in ghosts or ghost stories.

Well, that would have been normal for a normal person. That was the case even for a few days ago.

I first greeted the headmistress.

“I’m sorry for confusing you this morning.”

“No. Go inside and get ready for school.”

After greeting the headmistress and turning around, Sally and Erica approached .

“Was Anna Beloui a victim of a ghost story?”

Sally asked in a low voice.

A demon and a phantom are different. A demon is a being born from an evil place and has never been human.

On the other hand, a phantom is a being that was human and has lost their place to go and is wandering.

I thought a dium was just an object or thing, but I didn’t know that a phantom was a dium.

“She might also be the ghost I encountered in the elevator.”

Even recalling it again, Sally’s voice was shaking as she brought up the story.

[Unless there’s a special situation, people usually don’t see them. That’s why ghost sightings spread like ghost stories.]

After hearing Erica’s words, I thought back to what Kkamang and the student council president had said.

The elevator ghost was a special situation that Kkamang had ntioned.

That’s why Erica and Sally were able to see the ghost together.

The female students passing by the lobby glanced at us with puzzled faces.

‘Co to think of it, I’m going to get scolded by the leadership team.’

They were hiding and then disappeared.

At that mont, Erica opened her mouth.

“I saw A-Rose Young-ae’s graffiti in the basent cleaning tool box earlier.”

“I saw it too. I suspect that Aerose Youngae was also involved in a ghost story and went to the basent.”

The two looked at each other and kept their mouths shut. Was the misunderstanding completely resolved now?

Sally’s eyes turned red.

“I, I’m a narrow-minded person. I only wanted to believe what I saw, so I tornted Erica.”

“I’m sorry, but I already knew that you were that kind of person. I’m just saying this again.”

Erica answered calmly with an expressionless face. She was as cool as ever.

“Anyone is like that. I understand.”

However, she seed touched by what Erica added later.

Sally burst into tears.

The students passing by the lobby kept glancing at us. I had a feeling that this story would be a hot topic all day.

This ti, Sally approached and held my hand tightly.

“Thank you, lody. I survived thanks to you.”

I didn’t know Sally would give such a sincere thank you.

And now she started calling my na so naturally.

I wanted to respond to her thanks, but there was sothing I reacted to before I could respond.

Slurp.

“Oops.”

I quickly plugged my nose with my fingers.

My nose started bleeding.

I think I’ve been getting nosebleeds more often since I returned to the past. Maybe my body has gotten too weak.

At that mont, my right forearm started to sting.

With a puzzled expression, I rolled up my sleeve and examined my forearm, and there was a cross tattooed there that disappeared in an instant.

‘It hurts.’

I don’t know what this is. I looked at the spot where the cross tattoo had disappeared with a puzzled expression, and the black one looked at with a surprised expression.

[Wait, that mark... ... .]

The black one must have seen the cross.

The guy rubbed his eyes with his cotton-like hands as if he couldn't believe it and looked at again.

[Exterminating an evil spirit. I can't believe it. This is sothing even Sister Gloria couldn't do.]

When I looked at Erica and Sally, it seed like they hadn't noticed the cross engraved on my arm.

"lody, are you okay? Get up. Let's go to the hospital."

"Another nosebleed. lody seems to have a tendency to get nosebleeds often. You have to be careful of anemia."

Erica and Sally were making a fuss and helping up.

That's how I couldn't go to school and was dragged to the hospital again by them.
