ow!
Kkamang owed, throwing a fit as if to demand we follow.
"...I guess we should follow for now."
Erica stopped her struggle and added a comnt.
We quietly headed to the teacher's office with Kkamang in tow.
The teacher’s office was located on the second floor of the main building.
Since it was the day before the new sester, most of the teachers’ seats were empty, and only the teacher responsible for distributing textbooks and uniforms was there.
As expected, it was the music teacher.
She was signing the list of supplies issued to the transfer students when she suddenly looked at with a sparkling gaze and asked,
"Hastings, are you interested in becoming a soprano?"
"No."
Why is she so fixated on this?
Erica, standing next to , looked at in surprise.
"lody, are you joining the choir?"
"No. I was told I need to join the Discipline Committee."
"What? The Discipline Committee? Only top students can join that!"
Erica was asking this because she didn’t know that I was the one who scored full marks on the transfer exam.
"lody Hastings is a top student. She scored full marks on the transfer exam."
The music teacher explained on my behalf, her face beaming with pride.
I really didn’t understand why she felt so proud of my perfect score.
"What? Full marks on the transfer exam? You?"
Erica asked, unable to believe it.
"Really? I’m shocked that soone got full marks on the transfer exam, and it’s you?"
She seed a little taken aback by the news.
At that mont, the music teacher added so more information regarding extracurricular activities.
"Well, Hastings, the Discipline Committee and the Student Council are not clubs, so you can join one club in addition to them. Think carefully about it."
It was the first ti I was hearing that you could join another club while being part of the Discipline Committee.
"Soprano lody! What a beautiful na combination!"
Wouldn't the song itself be more important than the na?
The music teacher seed lost in imagining singing an aria on stage, wearing an emotional expression, so I couldn’t bring myself to say that out loud.
"You’d be a perfect fit for it. There’s no club better suited to you than the choir."
The music teacher continued to push the choir on even as I was leaving the teacher's office.
"Okay, we’ll be leaving now."
Of course, I ignored her words and quickly left with Erica.
"Erica, did you join any club other than the Student Council?"
"No. Since it’s optional, it’s a privilege for top students."
It seems like top students in this school get more privileges than I expected.
As expected, privilege is everything.
"By the way, I still can’t believe you scored full marks on the transfer exam."
Erica said, with a determined look on her face.
"Alright. I’ll give you one more privilege."
"What’s that?"
"You can hang out with from now on."
...Should I answer?
"If you hang out with , I’ll take special care of Elizabeth, feed her, and play with her. How’s that? Isn’t that an incredible honor?"
I wondered if Erica even understood what the word "honor" ant.
"Instead of Elizabeth, if you call her Kkamang, I’ll happily walk with you."
"Actually, I’ve always wanted to call her Kkamang from the start."
Erica quickly responded, then gently petted Kkamang.
The more I saw Erica, the more I realized she was a rather careless person. It made want to laugh.
"The most dangerous place at Saint Gloria Private School is Johannes Castle. That’s where the F-class classrooms are located..."
On the way back to the dormitory, Erica kept talking about the school, saying I should know these things now that I had earned the privilege of hanging out with her.
By the ti we returned to the dorm and began preparing for the new sester, it had already beco night.
I ironed my uniform and then fell asleep with a troubled mind.
"I need to et Raven tomorrow."
The night deepened with my worries.
September 1st, 902, the first day of the second sester.
Eastern Riven Lauderdale, after a long ti, prepared his school uniform and glanced toward the living room.
There, his roommate, Raven Hastings, had finished preparing for school and was getting ready to leave.
It seed like he had finished getting ready way too early, and it appeared that he hadn’t slept much.
‘Is it because of his sister?’
The school had been buzzing due to the recently held transfer exam.
It was because of the student who scored full marks on the exam.
It was the first ti a perfect score had been achieved in the transfer exam, and coincidentally, the student’s last na was "Hastings."
Everyone knew what that na ant. Raven Hastings, who had caused a stir last sester and earned the nickna "Crazyven," shared the sa last na.
There was no one who didn’t understand what that implied, and now, Raven’s sister was the school’s biggest topic of conversation.
‘Speaking of which, last ti, she ca looking for Raven. She ca all the way to his room.’
Eastern recalled the photo the Student Council President had shown him the previous day.
No matter how he thought about it, the woman in the photo looked exactly like the new transfer student.
‘Could there be a connection?’
Recently, the Student Council had been busy investigating the so-called ghost stories.
Ghost stories were often posted on the student bulletin board, and the Student Council had no choice but to investigate them.
But aside from a few mbers, most of them believed the ghost stories were all fake.
Raven felt the sa way.
If Eastern or the Student Council President told him about the Chesswind ghost story they had been investigating, Raven wouldn’t believe it either.
"Hey, why was your sister avoiding you yesterday?"
"Who’s avoiding who? I haven’t done anything like that."
Raven responded indifferently while putting on his shoes.
It seed like a careless reply, but Eastern chuckled.
"Everyone at school knows your sister spent the whole day looking for you. She searched the whole school with Queenbury senior."
"If I et her, my image will get ssed up."
"Image? What image? Do you even have an image?"
"They all call a weirdo."
"You are a weirdo."
"Stop talking to . We’re not that close, you know?"
"You bastard."
"I’ve never t a noble who curses so crudely."
"Nowadays, nobles curse too. Tis have changed, it’s about ti for that."
"It seems like only you’ve changed."
"I had to change. But still, don’t tell my brother. If our father finds out, I’m screwed."
"Let’s not talk about it."
Raven clicked his tongue and opened the door to go out.
It was still late sumr, but Raven was wearing his winter school uniform, with his sleeves pulled down tightly to cover his skin.
He never exposed his bare skin to others and avoided contact with anyone.
The nickna "Crazyven" wasn’t for nothing. Raven always had sothing peculiar about him.
And the way Raven acted when talking about lody seed unnatural. It looked like he was avoiding her for so reason.
‘Well, it’s not my business.’
Eastern checked the ti, put on his shoes, and rushed outside.
As he passed the girls’ dormitory, it seed unusually noisy.
"What’s going on?"
There were a bunch of female students gathered in the dormitory lobby.
He was curious, but ✪ Nоvеlіgһt ✪ (Official version) school rules prohibited male students from entering the girls' dormitory.
Eastern asked one of the male students loitering by the lobby.
"What’s going on?"
"Looks like a female student had an accident with the elevator door last night."
Hearing that, Eastern recalled the "Girls' Dormitory Elevator Ghost Story" that had been posted on the school bulletin board last sester.
The notice said not to use the girls' dormitory elevator after 9 PM, claiming that sothing strange appeared there.
As expected, one of the students nearby raised a question.
"Could that ghost story actually be true?"
Eastern glanced at the girls' dormitory lobby with an uneasy look.
He had forgotten about it until now.
‘Could it be...?’
