Dream Corresponding to Reality?

The white wedding dress, originally symbolizing purity and beauty, was now soaked in bright red blood.

Each drop of blood was like a shattered heart, flowing from the bride’s body and blending with the white dress.

They ford a heartbreaking scene on the ground, a portrait of an irreversible tragedy.

The red blood gradually spread, seeping into every fiber of the wedding dress.

It was no longer a beautiful bridal gown but a symbol of pain and sorrow.

The contrast between the red blood and the white dress made the entire scene strikingly jarring.

This was the last image Fang Zhou saw in his dream.

He abruptly opened his eyes, waking up in a panic, gasping for breath.

The suffocating feeling overwheld him like a tidal wave.

Even after waking up, his heart raced uncontrollably.

This nightmare felt entirely different from ordinary dreams; it was even more terrifying than the last one where he jumped off a building.

Seeing Chu Xinran jump off the building in his dream made his heart stop, as if he could feel her despair and pain.

Fang Zhou’s movents caught the attention of the person beside him.

Qin Yun also woke up from her sleep, groggily looking at Fang Zhou.

In a hoarse voice, she asked, “What’s wrong?”

She picked up her phone from the bedside table and glanced at it.

It was only 3 AM, far too early to get up.

As she moved, the bedside sensor light turned on, illuminating Fang Zhou’s actions and expression.

He was clutching his chest with his right hand, his face filled with terror.

He was breathing heavily, as if in physical distress.

Qin Yun imdiately rembered the last ti he had a headache.

She quickly sat up and gently rubbed his back, trying to soothe him.

“What’s wrong? Are you feeling unwell?

Should we go to the hospital?”

Qin Yun’s gentle care brought imnse comfort to Fang Zhou at that mont.

He had to admit, waking up from a nightmare with soone by his side seed to lessen the fear.

He shook his head, indicating he was fine.

“Nothing, just a nightmare. Go back to sleep.”

Qin Yun frowned, not understanding what kind of nightmare could leave him in such a state.

“Do you want to talk about it? It might help.”

Expressing inner pain and confusion can alleviate anxiety to so extent.

Fang Zhou opened his mouth but didn’t know how to tell Qin Yun that he had dreamt of almost marrying Chu Xinran, only for her to jump off a building because she couldn’t accept his decision to call off the wedding.

In the end, Fang Zhou shook his head and didn’t tell her.

He gently patted Qin Yun’s arm, signaling her to sleep.

“It’s okay. You go back to sleep. I’ll get so water.”

With that, Fang Zhou got out of bed.

He needed to go to the living room for a drink of water.

Qin Yun, feeling confused, couldn’t think much due to the overwhelming drowsiness.

She eventually lay back down and closed her eyes.

In the living room, Fang Zhou picked up his cup, filled it with cold water from the dispenser, and drank it all in one go.

The air conditioning had left his body severely dehydrated, and his throat was parched, craving moisture like a desert oasis.

Each swallow felt like sandpaper scraping, but the cold water quickly alleviated the discomfort.

The icy liquid slid down his throat, bringing a refreshing coolness and moisture, like a gentle rain.

The agitation in his heart, burning like a fire, seed to be extinguished by the cold water.

His restless emotions gradually cald, replaced by a sense of peace and tranquility.

The coolness of the water brought comfort, like finding shade on a hot sumr day.

Sitting on the sofa, Fang Zhou began to reflect on the dream.

Why had he dreamt such a vivid dream?

Most importantly, everything in the dream felt so real.

He even rembered the exact style of Chu Xinran’s wedding dress, as if he had actually experienced it.

But the rational part of his mind told him that none of it had happened in reality.

Those events had never occurred in the real world.

Fang Zhou took a deep breath and decided to treat it as an ordinary dream.

Nightmares are called nightmares because they are more surreal than reality, amplifying deep-seated fears and anxieties.

Such things might not happen in real life.

Besides, it was Qin Yun helping him now, not Chu Xuan.

Unexpectedly, three days later, he received a text ssage.

The content was eerily similar to the ssage Chu Xuan had sent in his dream.

“I have what you want. If you want to talk, et at XX Cafe this afternoon.”

The ssage was signed with a single character: “Chu.”

Although the sender didn’t explicitly reveal their identity, the arrogance and disdain in the ssage made Fang Zhou imdiately think of its author.

Reading the ssage, Fang Zhou’s brows furrowed deeply.

It corresponded to what Chu Xuan did in his dream.

Although the ssage didn’t explicitly ntion the kidney, Fang Zhou had to admit that if Qin Yun weren’t helping him now, he might have gone to et Chu Xuan, just like in the dream, to negotiate terms.

But now, he didn’t need to go or accept Chu Xuan’s conditions.

Was reality really mirroring the dream?

As he pondered, Li Siming walked in and, seeing Fang Zhou’s expression, started teasing him.

“What’s wrong? Even a big boss like you has worries? Tell , maybe I can give you so advice.”

Despite the joking tone, Fang Zhou’s expression remained serious.

He looked at Li Siming and asked earnestly,

“Suppose, just suppose, I had a dream.

And this dream corresponded to certain real-life events. Should I follow what happened in the dream?”

Li Siming was taken aback, a puzzled look on his face.

He scratched his head and hesitantly said, “Are you saying you had a prophetic dream?

Wow!

Never mind how amazing that is, just tell the next winning lottery numbers, and I’ll go make a fortune!”

Fang Zhou rolled his eyes and replied seriously,

“I’m talking about sothing serious.”

Li Siming laughed and then gave his answer.

“Well, it depends on whether the outco in the dream was good or bad.

If it was good, you could follow it.

If it was bad, why would you do it?

Isn’t that helping you avoid risks?”

Hearing this, Fang Zhou suddenly paused.

That’s right. He wouldn’t agree to any of Chu Xuan’s conditions because of his sister.

So what was there to fear?

He might as well go and see how much the dream differed from reality.

If more than 80% matched, did that an the suicide dream could also co true?

Fang Zhou’s mood grew heavy.

Even to verify this, he had to go.

Although he didn’t believe in prophetic abilities or such near-supernatural occurrences happening to him,

he couldn’t ignore the possibility.
