Chapter 929: Chapter 928: Get Lost!
“These people are so uncivilized! How dare they make such a commotion in a place like this? I think your café has an obligation to deal with this matter!” The man spoke without lowering his voice, even intentionally raising his tone. He glanced at the group of n and won not far away with a look of disdain.
People like that—do they even deserve to be here drinking coffee?! They’re treating this place like so low-level sugar water shop! People like them shouldn’t even be allowed to stay here and drink coffee!
The man’s words were clearly heard by Brother Rong, and his face imdiately darkened. However, he didn’t say anything. Instead, he raised his hand and gestured to those who were about to stand up and confront the man to remain silent.
Seeing Brother Rong do this, the n sat back down angrily. They caught the intention behind Brother Rong’s gesture. As for the won, they remained indifferent. Whatever happened in this café was none of their concern. After all, none of the n here had simple identities.
Anyone from this group could easily resolve whatever conflict arose here. Or perhaps, with the money they casually spent, they could outright buy this café.
It’s laughable that the old man dared to offend these people. Does he even understand the aning of the word “death”?
In response to the man’s attitude, a male staff mber imdiately stepped forward and said to him, “Sir, please allow us at the café to diate this situation…”
“Hmm!”
Seeing soone handle the matter, the man snorted. He had co here to read, and just as he was engrossed, his mood was ruined by the disturbance. His desire to read vanished completely, leaving him no choice but to ask the café staff to intervene.
The male staff mber approached Brother Rong and his group, wearing a face full of apology as he said, “Dear guests, could I ask you to lower your voices a bit when talking? After all, there are other guests in the café who prefer a quieter environnt…”
“Get lost!”
Brother Rong waved his hand dismissively at the man with a sneer. “Who do you think you are to talk to , Bai Herong, like this? Are you planning to shut down this place or what?!”
“Sir, if you’re unwilling to cooperate with us, it’ll make things very difficult for us…”
The staff mber was no stranger to dealing with difficult custors. He understood that reacting too aggressively would be pointless, so he tried to diate patiently. Unfortunately, Bai Herong had no intentions of wasting words with the worker.
“Who among you wants to handle this?”
Bai Herong clapped a few of the n on their shoulders, glanced at the staff mber and the middle-aged man in the distance, and curled his lips into a chilling smile.
Upon hearing Brother Rong’s cue, several young n burst into laughter and said, “Brother Rong, leave this to us! We’ll make sure to ‘take good care’ of them!”
The emphasis on “take good care” made their aning obvious. They sneered as they stood up, stepped past the sofa, and simultaneously headed toward the staff mber and the middle-aged man.
“Since you had the audacity to embarrass us earlier, let’s see how you plan to fix this now!” One of the n reached the middle-aged man and grabbed his collar, laughing maniacally. “Ti to show you what our skills are!”
With that, the man flung the terrified middle-aged man onto the ground. Without wasting a second, he raised his foot to stomp down on him. Another man stepped forward and also stomped hard onto his body.
“Thump, thump, thump!”
The café was imdiately filled with muffled sounds. Not only was the middle-aged man struck repeatedly, but the staff mber who had called out Bai Herong was also punched and kicked by the gang. His once-decently handso face was bruised and even had one eye swollen shut.
Scenes like these sent most of the café patrons into shock. So wanted to take the chance to escape but froze in their tracks when they felt a chilling gaze burning into their backs. A cautious side glance revealed it was the gang of young n watching them. They quickly straightened up and didn’t dare move a muscle…
“Hao Jian, these people are awful!”
Shu Ya watched the ongoing chaos with anger etched across her face. She had brought Hao Jian to enjoy a peaceful day together, but these people ruined the carefully planned atmosphere. Worse, it happened in a place she’d chosen. She couldn’t help but feel embarrassed.
She worried Hao Jian would mock her for picking such a place. Precisely because of this concern, her frustration toward the group intensified!
When it ca to her identity, though, Shu Ya had never feared anyone. No matter how powerful these young n’s backers might be, could they surpass Hao Jian? Absolutely not!
“Haha, let
handle this. My beauty has spoken; how could I turn a blind eye? Just wait for —it won’t take long.”
Hao Jian didn’t hesitate to resolve the issue for Shu Ya. Moreover, this was Hua City—there was no one here he couldn’t deal with!
“Damn it! Let’s see if you dare ask us to quiet down again!” The group continued their assault on the middle-aged man and the staff, hurling curses throughout. Female staff mbers looked on in terror, frozen by fear. None of them had ever encountered a situation like this before.
After all, who would’ve thought these young n would be brazen enough to cause such havoc in a café? The fear rendered them too disoriented to even think about calling the police…
“Hehe! Die, bastard!”
Growing bored, the young n raised their feet again. This ti, they aid directly at the victims’ heads with enough force to cripple or kill.
“That’s enough!”
Just as their feet hovered inches from the middle-aged man’s head, a calm yet commanding voice echoed from a corner of the room. Hearing the voice, the young n sneered dismissively, intending to continue their attack—but were shocked to find their feet wouldn’t budge any further!
“You’ve caused enough trouble. Ti to stop, don’t you think?”
Hao Jian rose from his seat, strode across the café, and looked at the young n with calm eyes. Then, his gaze shifted to Bai Herong, knowing that stopping the group ant dealing with their leader first.
If they refused to cooperate, Hao Jian wouldn’t mind resorting to violence. However, to avoid ruining the atmosphere of his day with Shu Ya, he decided to hold off on using force…
“Who the hell are you?! Get the hell out of here!” Bai Herong sneered as he noticed Hao Jian’s gaze land on him. He turned to face him with scorn, snorting, “Playing the hero for losers, huh? I advise you to back off before soone sses up that girl you brought along!”
“Heh…”
Hearing this, Hao Jian chuckled softly, though a glimr of murderous intent flashed in his eyes. This guy had just threatened him!
“Poor bastard, you’d be wise to listen to Brother Rong. Otherwise, we won’t go easy on you!” The young n noticed Hao Jian’s attire—a collection of what they perceived as second-rate or third-rate brands, with a total value barely reaching 3,000 yuan.
In their eyes, his clothes were equivalent to street stall goods. But to ordinary people, they were rather impressive.
After all, brands like Nike and Adidas were global nas. Ironically, Shanshan and her friends often bought these for Hao Jian, calling them “pajamas.” Little did they know Hao Jian didn’t care about appearances—he wore whatever was nearby. And this always beca a source of ridicule during encounters like this.
Such shabby attire ant his status couldn’t be high.
“Not moving?”
Seeing Hao Jian remain smiling without a sharp retort, the n exchanged curious glances but soon burst out laughing coldly. “Do you actually plan to take these two losers away by yourself against the likes of us?”
“Hahaha! Don’t bla us for not warning you! Soone like you doesn’t stand a chance. A penniless fool like you, even if your assets multiplied a hundred tis, still wouldn’t have the right to boss us around!”
They continued mocking Hao Jian while Bai Herong deliberately stayed silent, allowing them to insult him. After all, this ddler deserved punishnt. Whether they dealt with two or three people, it made no difference!
On top of that, young won in the group began joining in the verbal attacks on Hao Jian.
“Haha! Look! That poor fool doesn’t even dare respond!”
Despite their jeers and insults, Hao Jian maintained his faint smile, as though he wasn’t bothered in the least. This deanor caught the attention of the young n soon after.
