On the sa day in the afternoon, the four counselors gathered Elijah and the other three recomnded by the main cities to a eting.
"I think the four of you must be wondering what happened in arena a while ago. But before we start to explain, let make it simple. The four counselors and the lord commander of the citadel are giving you all the task of defeating the challenger you just saw on the arena." The black counselor spoke as he walked around the room.
"I undertand but why the counselors want him out? There is a mission to kill him?" The lizard woman, Rain was the first to raise her hand to ask sothing.
"No, for the more we apreaciate your assassinate skills it is impossible for any of you to kill him and this is because of him being a Mortal Spirit Master. Mortal Spirit Master is a title given to soone with the power of the two paths, Mortal and Spirit. This condition is sothing very rare, but even if it is a cultivation is successful, the lifespan is much, much shorter that any type of cultivator. The only way to have this power and avoid the price is to use the rejuvenation art, sothing only spirit cultivators can use and it enables the ability to steal everything that belongs to others along with the victims body. This way they can change to one body from other and gain eternal life."
"Are you sugesting he is a practitioner of the rujuvenation art?" Elijah and the other three asked as they could see where this talk was going to.
"This is the only possibility, we've made several tests with him but it only reveals that he's just forty and has achieved the Mortal Will Realm and the Spirit Calling Realm, but the red counselor, Kiara believes that his strenght in the Spirit path is at least of a Saint. So we are sure he uses this forbiden art, but because we do not have even a single clue about his objective and that we can't prove our teory, The citadel will have to let him participate in the tournant even when we don't want to. So we want anyone of you to make him reveal his true self." Despite knowing they couldn't give much help, the counselor in black robes did not have any other options.
Before going back to sleep, Elijah entered one of the personal training rooms reserved from people who would participate in the tournant.
The training room was not the biggest he saw but was very organizaded, the area for ditation on the left of the room with a small bathub on the side where he could relax after a session of training. Seven wood puppets were standing on the other side of the training room, each one of those puppets had nurous runic patterns inscribed in their wood bodies.
Walking towards the puppets, Elijah pull the Polaris Sword out of the black leather scabbard on his waist. The blue gem on top of the sword's hilt glid with a faint blue glow as it reflected the light in the room.
While holding the sword in his right hand, he took a top-grade magical crystal from his left and slowly shortened the distance between both hands.
Holding the magic crystal by the sword, Elijah relaxed his mood as an emotionless voice echoed.
"Elental Enhancent Magic: Lightning Sword." The energy within the magical crystal was quickly depleted as a small blue lightning ford and growed until it managed to cover the entire sword.
With a single horizontal cut, the sword's lightning accelerated the sword in Elijah's hand, which quickly went toward the seven dolls, slashing them in the blink of an eye.
With this attack, lightning sparks was fled from the sword in all directions and so of them hit his right arm and chest, If not for his body being extrely strong he could have several scars on his arm.
"Good, it seems that even if I don't have any energy in my body, It is still easy to cast spells with only magical and pri crystals. As for this person who probabily has been stealing others body, i really don't want to deal with him. I only have confidence in dealing with him if I had the sa power I used to help Cassie awake her bloodline. And I still need to find the trinity body to resolve my problem.... Okay, I have decision, I'm not a hero so there is no need for to trouble myself with others problems. I will just sit quiet and wait to see what happens. For now, I will try to undertand why this rune suddenly erged."

On the next day, people had gathered at the stadium once gain to the start of the main tournant. After yesterday, the mbers of the citadel council had chosen twenty-four people from the forty-seven.
Elijah was on the corner of the a plataform preparing himself while Cassie was with the spectators. All of a sudden, he felt his hand burn once more together with the sensation of danger. Elijah looked for Cassie but she was nowhere and he started searching around only to see enormous humanoid figure by his side.
