Chapter 1143: Waiting.

At the moment of enlightenment, Elira seemed to have lost touch with reality and time, pletely immersed in the process of prehending the Golden Fire, which Ash transmitted to her through the spark of Idan’s fire.

“Symbiotes are truly incredible.,” — Idan thought. “The fact that it was the Ancient Clans that restricted them bees even more obvious when you consider that the monopoly on True Lights is primarily beneficial to them.”

After observing and making sure that Elira’s condition was stable and that what he had given her did not pose a threat to her, Idan closed his eyes and immersed himself in meditation, striving to prehend his Golden Fire.

About an hour later, Cyrion approached them, looking for Elira. Seeing that she was sitting right in front of Idan with her eyes closed and so close, he stopped some distance away from them.

“Is there really something between that little girl and that guy?” He thought, noticing them in a secluded place, and his eyes lit up.

“e on, little girl, don’t let this guy down and charm him,” Cyrion said in his mind and quickly left so as not to interfere with them.

Time flew by, and Idan kept checking on Elira’s condition, trying not to disturb her. In the late afternoon, Arabel’s avatar appeared and came to visit him.

“How are you?” asked Idan with slight concern.

“I’ve had a lot of rest and now I’m back to studying,” she replied with a smile, turning her gaze to Elira. “What’s wrong with her?”

“Well, I helped her…” —Idan spoke openly about his discovery and explained why Elira was in such a state.

“Eh…” — Arabel sighed, staring at her husband intently. “Do you realize that after everything you’ve done for her, she can’t just leave anymore?”

Idan glanced at her, but there was no jealousy or displeasure in her eyes. Just a calm calculation.

Idan couldn’t help but smile. Others might have misunderstood her words, but he knew that Arabel would never share him with another woman. And he himself would never allow someone to take the place next to him, which belonged only to her.

“Are you talking about tying her loyalty to the Kingdom?” he asked.

“Yes,” Arabel nodded. “You’ve given her something too important to be just an external ally.”

“If she can master the Golden Fire, it will be easier to attract her and bind her to the Kingdom,” Idan thought, not finding this a problem.

While they were chatting sweetly, Cyrion appeared in the distance, who seemed to be secretly watching them. Noticing their gazes, he quickly left, as if running away.

“What’s wrong with this old man?” frowned Idan, and Arabel’s gaze became serious. She looked at Elira, then at her husband, and, making a quick guess, she laughed.

After staying for a while longer, Arabel left.

Late in the evening, once again taking a break, Idan used his power over the Kingdom to find out what its inhabitants were doing. When his gaze fell on his house, he noticed concern. After taking a glance at Elira, he immediately teleported there.

“What’s going on here?” he asked, suddenly appearing in front of Estelle, Eleanor, Amanda, and Ivette.

“Idan, you’re here!” a panicked Estelle exclaimed. “Ryan drank the potion you gave him, and something weird and creepy happened to him.”

“Oh! So has he finally made a decision?”- instead of sharing her worries, Idan broke into a smile.

Estelle nodded uncertainly.

“Where is he?” asked Idan.

“This way, he’s in the guest room,” Estelle called, stepping forward.

Idan glanced at Amanda, Ivette, and Eleanor before following her. His gaze lingered a little longer on Eleanor, who had bee even younger and more beautiful. Noticing his gaze, Eleanor couldn’t help but smile contentedly, joyfully, and proudly.

“Is that why you’re here?” asked Idan.

“Estelle gathered everyone in a panic, wanting to find you,” Eleanor replied.

“I see,” Idan nodded and hurried after Estelle.

When Idan reached the guest room, he saw a familiar sight: a slightly creepy red pulsating cocoon, inside which Ryan was. Estelle, who was watching this transformation, was still in a panic.

“Wh… What the hell is this?” exclaimed Amanda, standing at the door of the room behind Idan.

“Is Ryan really inside this thing?” asked Eleanor, equally surprised.

“Ladies, don’t worry so much, relax,” Idan urged. “There’s nothing scary or dangerous here.”

“Ryan accepted the bloodline change potion I offered, and now he is inside this cocoon, where the process of changing his bloodline is taking place.”

His words calmed Estelle down a little, and she stopped panicking so much.

“You can disperse and go about your business,” Idan added. “The process of changing bloodlines is not a quick process. It will take about a week, so it does not require constant monitoring.”

“That long?” — Estelle was surprised, worried about her eldest son.

“Of course. This is a very plex and fundamental process that pletely changes his bloodline,” Idan explained, looking at the cocoon.

“When Ryan es out of it, he won’t be a human anymore, but an Alpha.”

“Alpha…” Amanda repeated, staring intently at the red cocoon and clenching her fists tightly.

Next to her, Eleanor was slightly worried about her grandson. And only Ivette, who was standing behind everyone, remained unperturbed.

When everyone started to leave the guest room, Ivette stopped Idan.

“Idan, I’m a little worried about my older sister,” she said anxiously. “She still hasn’t returned.”

“Mom,” Idan replied, slightly surprising Ivette. “Inessa is already an adult woman, she has given birth to two children, she is forty years old, she is not a little girl. She has her own head on her shoulders. Stop worrying so much.”

“But…”

“She made the decision to follow him. No one forced her,” Idan interrupted. “If we’re important to her in any way, she’ll e back sooner or later.”

Ivette did not respond to his words, but it was clear from her look that they did not convince her.

“Fine, Fine. I’ll ask someone to look after her,” Idan finally surrendered, and only then did Ivette give him an approving smile.

After leaving the house, Idan found the fox Snow and asked her to secretly look after Inessa. She happily agreed. As a sign of gratitude, Idan scratched her carefully and even played with her for a while before she flicked her fluffy tail, opened a rift and disappeared inside it.

Before returning to his seat, Idan looked towards the Dungeon Gate, where almost all the members of the Kingdom’s Guild and most of the beasts had been spending time lately.

“I wonder who will be the first to plete the Dungeon Simulator and when?” he thought, returning to where he had left Elira and plunging back into meditation.

The next day, closer to lunch, Elira finally opened her eyes.
