"Retreat!" Gongsun Chou shouted.
"Too late!" The two Heavenly Silkworm Guards struck instantly. One restrained Gongsun Chou, while the other began a slaughter. In a flash, more than a dozen of the Gongsun Family’s experts died at his hands.
"Stop!" Liu Ruyan cried, placing a sword against her own neck.
"Sister, put down the sword!" an alard Gongsun Shengheng imdiately shouted.
But Liu Ruyan didn’t lower her weapon. Instead, she addressed Liu Zhongping. "Father, I will go with you, but you must not kill anyone here! If you don’t agree, I will die right before your eyes!"
Threatened by her, Liu Zhongping grew furious. "You’re threatening ! Such outrageous disobedience!"
"Then your daughter has no choice but to defy you," Liu Ruyan said calmly.

for a group of strangers!" Liu Zhongping barked.
"No," Liu Ruyan replied. "Ever since I left the Liu Family, they have been my true family—now and forever!"
"Take her away!" Liu Zhongping ordered sharply.
"Ru Yan!"
"Sister!"
Gongsun Chou and Gongsun Shengheng cried out in heartbreak as she was led away, but they were no match for the Heavenly Silkworm Guards.
"Brother, Grandfather! And all my family here!" Liu Ruyan called out in despair. "Don’t worry about !"
She was brought to Liu Zhongping’s side, where he promptly restrained her.
"This is bad!" Gongsun Chou cried out, but it was too late.
"Strike!" Liu Zhongping commanded.
Instantly, the Heavenly Silkworm Guards attacked again. Seeing the mbers of the Gongsun Family fall, Liu Ruyan said coldly, "You went back on your word!"
"That depends on who I’m dealing with," Liu Zhongping sneered.
Tears stread down Liu Ruyan’s face. She never expected that, in the end, she would be the one to bring ruin upon the Gongsun Family. At that mont, all she wanted was to end her own life.
As the Heavenly Silkworm Guards were in the midst of their rciless slaughter, a powerful killing aura swept over them. This terrifying aura felt as if it could blot out the sky and cover the earth. When it descended, the Heavenly Silkworm Guards were terrified and Liu Zhongping fell into despair. He had never encountered such a dreadful presence. The next mont, Liu Zhongping froze, too shocked to speak. A hand was already resting on his neck, and he hadn’t noticed a thing. As he slowly, fearfully turned, his heart quaked. He saw Ye Fan.
"Such audacity," Ye Fan said.
Terrified, Liu Zhongping stamred, "Who are you?"

At that mont, Liu Ruyan’s heart leaped with joy. The man she loved had finally arrived.
"You’re the King of Heaven!" Liu Zhongping exclaid.
Indeed, the Mo Sect was at war with the King of Heaven. Their greatest enemy was not the Gongsun Family, who were insignificant at best, but the King of Heaven himself. The man who had caused the deaths of two Mo Sect leaders was destined to be a most terrifying existence.
