Chapter 382: Chapter 381 Heather

Ye Fan was shocked. He hadn’t expected Prince Greedy Blade to be able to alter the battlefield itself. This allowed the prince to maximize the power of his killing blows, while Ye Fan, in contrast, found his strength suppressed. Without a doubt, this was shaping up to be his most difficult battle yet.

Although Ye Fan’s movents were hindered within the Silver Domain, his Yuanhong Sword remained unaffected, still exquisite and shimring brightly.

Ye Fan shouted, "Slaughter Sword Intent!"

"Silver Soul Cutting!"

The two terrifying streams of Sword Qi collided, instantly collapsing the black castle. The destructive force from their impact was even more terrifying than heavy artillery, devastating everything within a one-kiloter radius. The two streams of Sword Qi clashed in mid-air, sustained by a ceaseless flow of power from both combatants. This had truly beco his most challenging fight yet.

However, just then, the silver Sword Qi began to tremble. Delighted, Ye Fan surged with more power and roared, "Break!"

Instantly, the silver Sword Qi shattered. The world returned to normal, the shimring silver light vanishing completely.

"Ah!"

Prince Greedy Blade cried out, spitting blood as he tumbled from the sky. Ye Fan was confident in this last strike. He firmly believed that the blow would be fatal, even though he himself had only recently stepped into the Supre realm.

Ignoring the scene of destruction behind him, he walked toward the woman—the one who had taken a fatal blow for him. But at that mont, he felt a murderous aura assail him from behind.

"You really are an undying cockroach!" Ye Fan said coldly.

He drew the Yuanhong Sword and lunged with his sharpest killing blow. The strike pierced through Prince Greedy Blade’s body, and Ye Fan ca to a stop behind him.

Prince Greedy Blade was stunned. The Soul Cutting Blade in his hand shattered instantly. A sense of unease radiated from him, as if his very consciousness had been hollowed out. He couldn’t even feel the pain from his wounds.

Then, without a sound, his body split apart, transforming into a swarm of bats that flew into the sky.

Ye Fan sheathed his Yuanhong Sword. No matter how many lives Prince Greedy Blade had, none could withstand his most lethal Swordsmanship. He then carried the woman and left the black castle.

「In a distant and ancient mine shaft.」

The woman was shivering as Ye Fan tended to her wounds.

Ye Fan was stunned. Her blood is warm? He recalled that when he had treated her foot injury the other day, her blood had been distinctly cold—a key characteristic of the Blood Clan. Why is it warm now? She’s definitely of the Blood Clan... Could she be half-human, half-vampire?

The woman’s breathing was faint and her life force was fragile, as if she might die at any mont. Ye Fan checked for her breath; the situation was dire. The constitution of the Blood Clan was unlike that of humans, and the supre dical skills he possessed were completely useless on her.

He looked at her with despair. She was dying because of him, her life slowly slipping away. He hastily cut his palm, squeezing a large amount of his own blood into the woman’s mouth.

Driven by instinct, the woman began to drink his blood. To her, it was not only an exquisite delicacy but also a life-saving dicine.

"It seems like it’s not enough!" Ye Fan said anxiously. The blood flowing from his palm simply wasn’t enough to sustain her.

Just then, long fangs sprouted from her mouth. Her eyes turned blood-red as she stared greedily at Ye Fan. If not for the taste of his blood, she would never have regained this much vitality.

Of course, Ye Fan knew what she wanted to do. She wanted to bite his neck. Her fangs are so long... That’s definitely going to hurt!

But if he didn’t let her bite him, she would die. It was a difficult choice, and he was torn.

Finally, he gritted his teeth and said, "Go on! Just... be gentle!"

The woman imdiately bit down.

"Ah!"

Ye Fan’s pained cry echoed throughout the mine shaft. He was in agony. Two conspicuous puncture wounds marked his neck, his face was ashen, and his whole body trembled uncontrollably. It was undoubtedly the result of excessive blood loss, causing his body to convulse.

The woman’s condition finally improved, and she fell into a sweet sleep, lying atop Ye Fan.

By the latter half of the night, she had fully recovered. She apologized to Ye Fan, "I’m sorry!"

"It’s okay, I’m used to it," Ye Fan said helplessly. He had no idea what it was about his blood that made every blood-drinking Martial Artist so interested in him.

"Your blood has an irresistible flavor," she told him. "A flavor that makes

want to drink you dry."

Ye Fan reflexively made a defensive gesture. "As a lower-ranking vampire, what’s your usual source of blood?" he asked. He was curious, since a frail woman like her would seemingly have a great need for it.

"I don’t normally drink blood," she replied. "I hate the foul sll of blood. Even a whiff makes

want to vomit."

"Then why are you so fond of my blood?" Ye Fan asked curiously.

"To be honest, I don’t know either," the woman said. "I just know that your blood is a necessity for ."

Her words grew more and more frightening. Ye Fan knew he could not, under any circumstances, fall into the hands of other vampires, or he would beco nothing more than a food source.

He asked her, "Are you alone in your family?"

The woman nodded gently, a deep sadness in her eyes. "I’m not completely alone," she said. "I have a grandfather who has been slumbering for a long ti. He hasn’t woken up in ages."

"He’s my only relative."

Ye Fan knew that vampires liked to sleep—not just a nap, but a deep slumber that could last for years. He understood perfectly.

He then asked her, "What’s your na?"

"My na is Heather."

It was a pretty, unique na, and Ye Fan liked the sound of it.

He said, "You shouldn’t have blocked that punch for

today. It was powerful, but I could have taken it." He was telling the absolute truth; with his strength, Ye Fan could have easily withstood the blow from Prince Greedy Blade.

But Heather said, "I wanted to! We can’t let a single drop of your precious blood go to waste."

Well... Ye Fan wasn’t sure how to respond to that. "Just don’t do anything so foolish again," he said. "Although, there probably won’t be an ’again’."

"Tomorrow, just lead

to the vampire base. After that, your part in this is over."

After saying this to Heather, Ye Fan turned to leave. He didn’t notice the foxy smile that graced the stunningly beautiful vampire’s face.
