Chapter 135: Chapter 134: Delaying Ti
As night fell, Ye Fan looked out the window into utter darkness. Even on clear days this season, the nights were moonless, but tonight was unusual. A faint silver moon hung in the sky.
This is too irregular. Perhaps it’s because the Dark Green Crystal Stone is about to erge!
At that mont, several people got out of the car. The Shadow Demon Queen spoke, "You two, take your n and deal with those reckless fools. Anyone who approaches is my enemy!" she added fiercely.
"Yes!" The two nodded respectfully and vanished into the moonlight, leaving only Ye Fan and the Shadow Demon Queen behind.
The Shadow Demon Queen then said, "According to reliable intelligence, the Dark Green Crystal Stone was first discovered in a mine five kiloters ahead. The mine is currently sealed! The other two Kings will definitely want a share!"
"Good. Then let’s hurry there and seize the Dark Green Crystal Stone!" Ye Fan was quite impulsive. For him, as long as he obtained the crystal stone, his mission would be complete. He wouldn’t fear the King of Bai Ting or the Green Netherworld King.
"Don’t be so impulsive. They might be thinking the sa thing and have an ambush waiting for us," the Shadow Demon Queen cautioned.
But Ye Fan was unafraid and imdiately rushed forward. It wasn’t that he was thoughtless; he simply believed that at their level of power, they couldn’t be defeated by re traps. What mattered more was strength. Although the Shadow Demon Queen was angry that Ye Fan ignored her, she still followed him.
Ten minutes later, the two arrived outside the mine. Looking at its reddish hue, Ye Fan imdiately jumped down.
"Who goes there?"
As soon as he landed in the mine, several voices echoed around him. Soon after, nine figures descended, surrounding him. These nine were not weak, but they were still far inferior to Ye Fan, and he paid them no mind.
"If you know what’s good for you, get lost," he said coldly. "Otherwise, this mine will be your burial ground!"
His words were incredibly domineering. The nine n looked at him angrily, and just as they were about to attack, two new figures appeared, approaching from the left and right. Even from a hundred ters away, Ye Fan could feel two chilling auras. These auras belonged to Kings—Kings among Innate Experts. He knew they were the King of Bai Ting and the Green Netherworld King.
Sure enough, a handso man with an otherworldly, almost demonic face appeared. He was the King of Bai Ting. The other man was dressed in knightly armor and held a Knight Sword; he was the Green Netherworld King. These two great Kings dominated the European continent. On this land, they were absolute rulers and two of the seven great Kings on par with Ye Fan.
Ye Fan said, "King of Bai Ting, Green Netherworld King. Long ti no see."
"King of Heaven!" the two exclaid in shock. They hadn’t expected the King of Heaven to show up and stir the pot. Today was truly destined to be a day of slaughter. Although they hadn’t been enemies in the past, they weren’t exactly friends either. Now, with benefits on the line, the situation was hard to predict.
"That’s right, it’s ," Ye Fan said.
The subordinates of the two Kings were shaken. It was nearly impossible to see two great Kings in the sa place, let alone three. The appearance of three great Kings here was bound to cause a massive sensation.
The Green Netherworld King asked Ye Fan, "King of Heaven, does your appearance here an you intend to share the Dark Green Crystal Stone with us?"
"Of course not. I want all of it, not to share it with you," Ye Fan replied playfully.
In an instant, the tension soared to a freezing point.
At this mont, the King of Bai Ting spoke. "King of Heaven, one-on-one, you might have the advantage. But now there are two of us, and you are alone! Even as the foremost among Kings, you can’t withstand our combined assault!"
Ye Fan retorted, "That’s not necessarily true. You can team up, so why can’t I find a helper? Perhaps my ally is even more fearso than you both!"
At this, the two grew furious. They carefully scanned the surroundings, but upon finding no trace of anyone else, they relaxed.
The Green Netherworld King said, "King of Heaven, you still dare to be so brazen? We’ll give you one chance: get lost now, or you’ll never get the chance to leave at all."
They postured for a fight. The King of Heaven’s power was undeniable, but neither of them was weak, especially when working together. Naturally, they weren’t afraid of Ye Fan. In fact, they believed they had a chance to kill him for good if they joined forces. However, no matter how they calculated it, the cost of such a fight tonight wasn’t worth it. From their perspective, scaring Ye Fan away without a fight was the best option.
An alliance of two great Kings could scare away most people, but not Ye Fan. First, he was the foremost among the seven great Kings. Second, he had co specifically for the Dark Green Crystal Stone. Thus, he chuckled, "Just the two of you think you can scare
away? Impossible."
Undoubtedly, the tension ratcheted up to a new height.
"Charge!"
The two attacked swiftly, aiming to kill. At this mont, both coveted the Dark Green Crystal Stone, but since they couldn’t drive Ye Fan away, they had no choice but to strike first.
Facing their deadly assault, Ye Fan was fearless. He imdiately clashed with the King of Bai Ting, but the Green Netherworld King used the opportunity to attack from behind. Ye Fan was forced to disengage from the King of Bai Ting to dodge the attack. It seed impossible to win against two great Kings alone. Though each of them was slightly weaker than him at their peak, the difference was minimal.
Of course, Ye Fan had no intention of fighting them to the death this ti. His only goal was to stall and buy ti for the Shadow Demon Queen.
"Silver Moon Killing!" the King of Bai Ting roared.
Instantly, his body shimred with points of light. The faint silver moonlight from the sky shone down on him, bathing him in an unfathomably deep aura. At that mont, however, Ye Fan remained undaunted. He struck fast, charging toward the King of Bai Ting. But the King’s power had clearly soared to a terrifying new level, and he actually managed to et Ye Fan’s punch head-on.
As the Green Netherworld King caught up, Ye Fan was forced to abandon the King of Bai Ting and engage him instead. The two Kings’ coordination was perfect, and together they fought Ye Fan to a standstill.
Subsequently, the three Kings broke apart.
Then, the King of Bai Ting said to Ye Fan, "King of Heaven, stop being so arrogant. If you don’t leave now, this will be your grave!"
"I don’t believe you’re capable of stopping ," Ye Fan scoffed.
"You’re courting death!"
The Green Netherworld King swung his Knight Sword, intending to cleave Ye Fan in two. Unfortunately for him, Ye Fan was his equal, if not his superior, in both speed and strength. A single punch from Ye Fan sent him reeling back. On the other side, the King of Bai Ting lunged forward again. The battle between the three Kings was astonishingly destructive, a dazzling and dizzying spectacle.
Their fight echoed throughout the entire mine. Many areas were struck by their attacks, sending rocks tumbling down and bringing the tunnels to the verge of collapse.
Individually, Ye Fan was stronger than either of them, but their combined strength surpassed his. This was destined to be a protracted battle. In the blink of an eye, they had been fighting for half an hour, yet neither side could gain an advantage.
"Silver Moon Light!"
A silver beam shot toward Ye Fan, its glare montarily dazzling him.
The Green Netherworld King seized the opportunity to launch a deadly strike. His sword nearly pierced Ye Fan’s body. If not for his swift evasion, the attack would have succeeded.
At this point, the intensity of the fight exploded to a new level.
Just then, a commotion seed to start from deep within the mine. The previously dark caverns suddenly erupted with a strange, brilliant light.
"The Dark Green Crystal Stone has appeared!" the two Kings exclaid with excitent.
Unfortunately for them, Ye Fan lunged forward at that very mont, denying them any chance to seize it.
