Capítulo 1477: Chapter 50: Desolate Fighting God—My Reincarnation (Part 1)
Mo Yuankai silently raised his hand, forming a shield with hexagonal Hero Stance to protect the two, but this ti his performance was far from easy, the light of the Hero Stance fiercely countered the flas, the attacker was surprisingly on par with him!
Mo Yuankai’s forehead was covered in sweat, Gongsun Ce widened his eyes: “Bro, you’re pretending on purpose, aren’t you? Don’t tell you’re struggling?”
“I really wish I could pretend, but your big brother has never been invincible!” Mo Yuankai said irritably, “You street punk are picking the wrong ti to ‘talk’, hurry up and think of a way to retreat!”
Indeterminate as mist, the purple smoke appeared as Gongsun Ce opened his mouth, slowly penetrating their seven orifices. Gongsun Ce smashed the flaming teor with a punch while activating Telekinesis to drag the sports car back. Almost simultaneously, a dazzling light erged from the purple smoke, and a chain of explosions engulfed the street!
“Nice, Ah Ce, good reflexes.” Mo Yuankai raised a thumb.
“Dodging this kind of move makes , Mr. Gongsun, feel exceptionally complex.” Gongsun Ce adjusted his glasses, “Seriously, are you two finished? How much did you drink last night to cause this chaos?”
The smoke from the explosion gradually dispersed, atop the half-lted building appeared two graceful figures. Both were clad in high-tech combat suits, one in deep purple and the other in gold and red. The purple-haired girl with the voluptuous figure held two bubble guns, and the slightly less voluptuous blonde carried a flaming sledgehamr. They both let out a spine-chilling giggle, pointing towards the sports car.
“Ah~ ha~ ha~ ha! Too bad, too bad, the seniors have already been surrounded!” Yun Yinglang giggled sharply.
“You chunibyo otaku, lying brat, your days of doing whatever you want are over!” Kardesia’s voice was even louder, “From now on, the Fixed Wing District is the territory of our ‘Elental Forces’!”
“…” “…”
Gongsun Ce and Mo Yuankai looked up expressionlessly, like two spectators from afar, watching a nuclear blast. Yun Yinglang and Kardesia continued to giggle arrogantly, but their strength waned, with each giggle less robust than the last. Ultimately, the feeble laughter ceased, and the scene fell silent for nearly half a second, with the atmosphere as tense as frozen tofu.
Kardesia slamd her hamr down: “Why is there no sound? We tead up, say sothing, you guys!”
“No… it’s not… it’s not strange for you two to be standing together…” Mo Yuankai said, “Besides, from a purely passerby perspective without other implications, the tight suits look nice, good taste in clothing.”
Gongsun Ce adjusted his glasses: “The na ‘Elental Forces’ sounds so cheesy, maybe you should consider changing it?”
Yun Yinglang’s face flushed: “What’s cheesy about it?! Compared to weird terms like ‘Wing’ and ‘Core’, ‘Power’ is a more straightforward, trendy choice!”
“Damn, I should have never let Little Yun na this…” Kardesia said helplessly, “Little Yun, go to hell.”
Flas spewed from Kardesia’s palm, a massive fireball burst out aid at Yun Yinglang’s head!
Yun Yinglang was stunned by the sudden change, her reaction speed insufficient to block the close-range attack. But the fireball hit an invisible wall, and the Telekinesis sparked in an instant, saving her life. Gongsun Ce pulled Yun Yinglang down, shouting angrily upwards: “Hat girl, are you out of your freaking mind?! What are you doing?!”
This was far from a playful brawl between superpower users; it was a full-fledged, malicious strike. But Kardesia showed little reaction, twirling her hair with her fingers, casually, as if chatting in a café.
“Killing.” Kardesia said, “She really pissed off.”
“What the hell, you…”
Had relationships been altered? Has friendship been twisted into enmity? These unpleasant thoughts flashed through Gongsun Ce’s mind, and he imdiately pressed, “Hey, aren’t we friends? We are friends, right?”
“Yeah.” Kardesia nodded, “Since I ca to Cangdu, we’ve been friends, been through life and death countless tis. But…”
“Whether we’re friends or killing is unrelated, right?”
A spark of fla flickered at her fingertip, transforming into a scorching spear that shot out. At the sa ti, the rescued Yun Yinglang launched an attack from the side, and the purple smoke exploded again!
Mo Yuankai reversed quickly, and the Red teor with them flashed out of the encirclent. Gongsun Ce felt a shiver run through him, his friend stood amidst the ruins, smiling just as they always did. But sothing had changed, the views on conduct, the notions of humanity, the line between reason and madness blurred, and they looked as normal and as crazy as ever.
“Don’t run, you!” Kardesia said impatiently, “Co on and fight! I will gain your power, or you will take mine, win or lose, the progression will happen, but there must be a battle. Without fighting, we can’t continue!”
“When I get out, I’m definitely going to play this recording for you in public.” Gongsun Ce said expressionlessly. He turned his head and blocked a colorless sword light with his arm, as Chi Zijing charged out with the Red Emperor’s Sword for a surprise attack on him.
“President, you’re joining the battle too?”
“The world is like this, I have no choice but to fight.” Chi Zijing said with a smile.
Gongsun Ce punched him away, he saw John leading the Wing of Death’s people ambushing ahead, saw Aorus with the Light Core and others above waiting to reap the benefits, saw many familiar superpower users hiding everywhere, ready to erge and join the fray. But those groups were not really organizations, rely people barely coming together. As long as those with similar mindsets exchanged less than three words, they would inevitably strike. There were endless battles breaking out and ending suddenly.
Every fight was a deathmatch, every move rciless. People seed to have forgotten fear and common sense, killing as easily as breathing. Everywhere in the Sky City battles without reason occurred, the superpower users’ blood almost dyed the city blood-red.
“Look, Ah Ce.” Mo Yuankai said, “I said the situation was really bad.”
Gongsun Ce slowly turned back, he was ntally prepared, ready for his big brother’s ambush. But Mo Yuankai didn’t attack him, he looked at the corpses amidst the battle flas, just as when heroes of the past watched the battlefield in the city. He leaped out from the sports car, charging alone into the battlefield, the light of the Hero Stance flickering, reshaping his clothing anew.
He donned a pitch-black wide-brimd hat, dressed in black attire, two blood-red chains crossed his chest, and a crimson-lined black cloak fluttered behind him. Mo Yuankai lowered his hat brim, raised his left hand, and in Gongsun Ce’s stunned gaze, laughed loudly:
“But don’t be afraid! I, Mo Yuankai of ‘Jihui Bureau’, will bring order to this chaotic world!”
