Capítulo 1476: Chapter 50: Desolate Fighting God—My Samsara (Part 1)
The sound of rain.
Explosions. Screams. Roars. The sound of blunt objects striking bodies. The noise of firearms discharging. Buildings and the ground shaking in the crossfire, the air heavy with smoke and a faint sll of blood. The sound of rain intertwines, relentless, like a slippery slug falling off the windowsill, like a wandering ghost’s hoarse laughter, chilling and unsettling, just as in mory…
“Hey! Wake up, Ah Ce!”
“—Ugh!”
A pair of strong hands shook his shoulders, and Gongsun Ce turned and sat up abruptly. The rain poured down on the ruined streets, the conflict and chaos etched into his mory. Even without relying on sight, he could distinguish the street scenes of Cangdu, those images already engraved in his mind alongside another’s voice. He turned to et Mo Yuankai’s gaze; his brother seed a bit surprised.
Gongsun Ce took the initiative: “Brother, what’s going on?”
“Woah! Are you kidding , you’re asking ?” Mo Yuankai exaggeratedly opened his mouth wide, “Ah Ce, you took one look at King Pingdeng and fainted on the spot. I should be asking what’s going on with you.”
Fainted on the spot… was he instantly defeated by King Pingdeng?
Impossible. Even though there was a difference in combat strength, the battle shouldn’t end so bizarrely. Considering he is now soone who defeated the Silent King, if the Jihui Bureau were truly this disgraceful, Miss Silence might return from the distant future in anger to draw her sword and kill him. Sothing must have gone wrong, what on earth is this Desolate Fighting God reincarnation…
The Desolate Fighting is an elent inherited from the Desolate Fighting Realm… God ? God and ? Seems incorrect. As per my impression, this term could also an “highest spirit”… could this reincarnation be a ti loop…
Gongsun Ce shook his head, montarily halting his chaotic thoughts. He was lying on the back seat of the Red teor. His brother had set the car on autopilot mode and was just busy applying an ice pack for him. Gongsun Ce took the ice pack off his head and patted his brother’s shoulder: “How’s everyone doing? Why are we in Cangdu?”
“What do you an how… Isn’t everyone the sa as usual?” Mo Yuankai’s eyes were odd, “Ah Ce, are you still not fully awake? If we’re not in Cangdu, then where would we be? On Zero Island checking out beauties?”
“Is it possible we are in the Country courting female knights?” Gongsun Ce countered.
“That fantasy does sound quite tempting. It would be great if a blonde female knight would date ~” Mo Yuankai whistled.
“Yep, I knew it was that trope… So ti really has gone backward…”
“What backward?” Mo Yuankai didn’t catch it.
“Nothing, it’s sothing you wouldn’t understand, brother.” Gongsun Ce waved his hand, “Could you make a pocket watch for , a silver one?”
“OK, just let know when you’ve co to a conclusion.”
With a flash of Heroic Stance, Mo Yuankai casually crafted a pocket watch from thin air and tossed it to him, then leaned forward to manually drive the car. The combat in this district seed to have ended so ti ago. No one was coming out to obstruct them, and the Red teor was moving unimpeded. Gongsun Ce stroked his chin, pondering based on the information at hand.
He watched clearly the process of his brother making the pocket watch, that was genuine Heroic Stance. This indicated that his brother wasn’t an illusion, but the real Mo Yuankai he knew. From the situation in Cangdu and their interaction, the “ti” in this world should still be before they headed to the Country. That was when Cangdu was at its ssiest, with various superpower organizations fighting chaotically inside the city.
This situation seed to line up with the current hypothesis of a “ti loop,” but his brother clearly said “King Pingdeng” when waking him. Back then, they shouldn’t have known about the Eternal King’s existence, so the current situation evidently conflicts with the past, which ans this isn’t simply a reversal of ti…
A change in the world line? A replacent of reality? A newly twisted world premise?
Currently, information only allows for reasoning to this point, so Gongsun Ce temporarily put his thoughts on hold. He cautiously used telekinesis to scan the surrounding area, seeking newspapers or books that could indicate the ti. This ti, Gongsun Ce raised an eyebrow; there weren’t any newspapers or magazines, not even a convenience store or bookstore, nearby the ruins held only various weapons, with only so graffiti on the walls that could be recognized as writing.
The sports car sped past the crumbling remnants, and that graffiti ca into his view:
[1 in 33 trillion, Year One]
Gongsun Ce frowned. The first part of the graffiti was portrayed in numbers, the 14-digit denominator nearly taking up an entire wall, with the nurator only being a pitiful “1.” The color of the graffiti was a sky-like azure blue, as if it were a hint given with malice.
The graffiti faded away in the rearview mirror, and Mo Yuankai casually took a glance: “Wow… Only the first year, rough tis ahead.”
Gongsun Ce squinted his eyes: “What are your thoughts, brother?”
Mo Yuankai turned the steering wheel, and the red sports car glided through the intersection like a swimming fish: “Not much of an insight, it’s just obvious. When the news ca out, everyone went crazy, and people would stop at nothing for those spots. Fights everywhere, who knows how long our partners can hold out.”
Gongsun Ce grinned wryly: “Brother, can we stop speaking in riddles? What spots?”
Mo Yuankai’s expression was one of outright shock: “Wow, Ah Ce, didn’t you see King P—”
The Red teor abruptly braked, the sudden tire friction screeched awfully. The deafening roar drowned out the noise, a brilliant crimson light illuminated half the sky. Buildings on both sides of the street were pulverized in explosions, flas as scorching as the sun burst out from them. The solid concrete structures didn’t last even a mont before lting like mud, the fiery attack rushed toward the car, like a teor.
