Chapter 837: Chapter 831 The Gap Between People_1

“Don’t worry, after accepting your family, although it’s a certainty that your family could never repay such a huge debt, it’s fine, I’ll take care of all your family mbers. That way, you’ll go mine for on a mineral planet. There’s no helping it, you always have to pay back what you owe. I’ll pay you the highest wages in the industry, until you’ve repaid the debt in full,” Suleiman Cooper spoke generously, but inside he was practically ecstatic.

Finn Lewis reached out and patted Marlon Murray’s shoulder, lifted his head with a look reserved for idiots when he gazed at Suleiman Cooper, then turned back to Marlon and said, “If what you’re saying is true, then there should be so sort of contract, right?”

“Right here.” Marlon gave a bitter smile, then showed his personal brain-computer to Finn Lewis. Finn glanced at it; indeed, it was a contract. The Ashford Family owed Suleiman Cooper 300 billion star credits, not the Rochefort Clan, but that no longer made any difference.

Everyone knew that without the Rochefort Clan, Suleiman Cooper counted for nothing. If he could pull off such a stunt, he wouldn’t be just scraping by aimlessly at this noble academy. So, when it ca down to it, the Rochefort Clan was the one pulling the strings behind the scene.

The target was Finn Lewis alone, “See clearly now? If you don’t understand what this ans, I can translate it for you. This contract contains the most legitimate terms under federal law. Once it’s signed, it becos legally binding, and even if you don’t want to comply, you’ll have no choice; the Federation will enforce it,” Suleiman said with malicious satisfaction, though his face wore a smile.

“Damn, I thought it was sothing serious, but it’s just this trivial matter,” Finn bluntly said. The people around him had been ready to witness his tragedy, but his words left everyone, including Suleiman, completely dumbfounded.

...

“What do you an by that? This reaction seems a bit off,” the confused crowd thought, but before they could grapple with the situation, Finn earnestly said to Marlon, “Look, since you’ve thrown in your lot with the young master, you need to have so vision. Is there a need to look as if both your parents just died over such a trifling issue? I really don’t get what all the fuss is about. Luna Starfield, transfer 300 billion star credits to him.”

“Yes, Your Highness, the transfer is complete,” Luna Starfield’s voice sounded, and imdiately after, Marlon’s personal brain-computer announced, “You’ve received a transfer of 300 billion star credits.”

Marlon’s brain had gone into complete shutdown; he was utterly flabbergasted by the situation that had unfolded so quickly.

“Little Fire, pay off the debt with this money,” Finn Lewis instructed. Little Fire was the na of the personal brain-computer in Marlon’s possession.

“Affirmative.” Following Little Fire’s confirmation, the chilly voice resonated from both Suleiman’s personal brain-computer and Marlon’s, announcing, “Debt has been fully repaid; the contract is automatically terminated. For any inquiries, please contact the federal court.”

With the conclusion of that announcent, the entire classroom fell eerily silent, as each person stared, open-mouthed and wide-eyed at Finn Lewis. Holy shit, that was 300 billion star credits! Not 300, not 30,000, but 300 billion! Just like that, he handed it over without even a mont’s hesitation.

“Marlon, since you’re following this young master, I naturally guarantee you won’t have any issues. If even you lose face, where does that leave my own dignity? Also, let tell you, you need to broaden your horizons a bit more, think bigger and longer term. And stop associating with people like him; damn, with that bumpkin look on his face. 300 billion star credits and he has the nerve to strut around here for so long. I thought it was so big issue, but it turns out to be just this. Man, I’ve gotten undressed only to be shown this? I was actually looking forward to playing with you for a bit, but now I can’t tell if I’m the one who erged from a backward planet, or if it’s you,” Finn Lewis said, his face full of disdain as he looked at Suleiman with an expression one would give a bumpkin.

The surrounding crowd was holding their breath, not knowing what to say. Fucking hell, fucking hell, they all wanted to curse; this turn of events was simply mind-blowing.

While talking, Finn Lewis continued to regard Suleiman with the disdainful glare you’d give a country bumpkin, as he walked away pulling Marlon with him, and whispered, “I’m telling you, stop doing business with families like that in the future. They’re too provincial, incapable of achieving greatness with such a small-world view. I guess he won’t have the chance to inherit their family wealth, not in the sa league at all.” Finn’s voice wasn’t loud but was certainly audible.

Most importantly, the classroom was so quiet that Finn’s words naturally drifted into Suleiman’s ears.

Suleiman Cooper opened his mouth, his expression turning from white to green, from green to red, and from red to purple. Finally, with a “croak,” he blacked out and keeled over. Only after Suleiman fainted did the rest of the class co to their senses.

And as they did, the classroom erupted into an uproar, with many of the younger nobles almost ecstatically shouting out; the excitent was too much for so, who directly uploaded the scene to the school forum.

Nobody saw this twist coming. This was beyond anyone’s predictions, and for a simple reason: think about it, Finn Lewis had only spent a total of 240 billion for the Aitken Family, and although the exact amount wasn’t clear to the outside world, so people knew, because the Aitken Family’s territories had beco under Finn’s control.

And it’s not like Finn would give his adversaries new money; it was just a debt of 240 billion star credits owed to him by them, and that was through a contract they willingly signed with Finn. This sum was about the total fortune of a five-star noble clan. The Aitken Family couldn’t co up with the funds and had to hand over all their territories to Finn.

But now, Finn had paid 300 billion star credits and didn’t even blink an eye from beginning to end, not to ntion showing any hesitation. Clearly thrilled, Suleiman Cooper, who had co looking for trouble, appeared like a colossal fool in the face of Finn’s reaction.

Moreover, it was as if the words “gigantic fool” were tattooed on his forehead for all to see. It was irresistibly comical. The incident instantly sparked a massive storm across the entire noble academy, and everyone revised their impression of just how extravagant our tycoon Highness could be.

And on the school forum, the appearance of a post caused a major sensation—the title alone read, “Comparisons will drive you to despair, and comparisons will compel you to toss things aside.”
