Through the phone, Li Yifei could imagine Wu Shuwei’s pretty face lighting up instantly. Indeed, a second or two later, Wu Shuwei exclaid in surprise, followed by so small noises, and Li Yifei even heard jumping sounds. Clearly, Wu Shuwei was extrely happy over there.
"Give
the address, I’ll drive over now!" Li Yifei said.
Wu Shuwei moved closer to the phone, suppressing her excitent, and said, "Okay... I’ll send you the address. But... there’s really no other man here with ."

Wu Shuwei wanted to retort, but she was eager to see the two kittens, so she just murmured an "oh" and ntioned the address. While navigating, Li Yifei said, "Alright, go wash up first, and get rid of any eye crusts or whatever."
"You’re the one with eye crusts!" Wu Shuwei retorted, then hung up the phone. She began to daze for a mont, before heading to the bathroom upstairs. Standing in front of the large mirror, Wu Shuwei made a victory fist gesture. She had been thinking about the cats for a long ti. Although she could easily buy so, and maybe even better ones than Li Yifei could, since Li Yifei promised her, she held back every ti she wanted to buy cats, waiting for Li Yifei to fulfill his promise.
She didn’t expect Li Yifei to rember and actually buy them, so... for this new ho, this warm little nest, it’s okay to let a man co over once. Although that man might beco very familiar with the place after this, in the future...
Wu Shuwei touched her face, deciding to take a shower, as there was still enough ti.
Twenty minutes later, Wu Shuwei, with a towel wrapped around her head, ca out wearing a set of loungewear. Even though she was in her thirties, her skin was still great, and her face was beautiful without makeup. Wu Shuwei was already looking forward to seeing the two little kittens, which would definitely be exciting.
After another ten minutes, the doorbell rang. Through the monitor, Wu Shuwei could already see Li Yifei’s face as she opened the door downstairs...
"Oh my god!" A few minutes later, Wu Shuwei saw the pet carrier Li Yifei was holding and rushed out in her slippers to take it. Li Yifei had cat food, cat litter, and canned cat food in his other hand, but he forgot to buy a litter box.
Watching Wu Shuwei, like a child, bring the pet carrier inside, lay on the floor, her eyes shining as she looked at the carrier, and gently opened its door, seeing the two adorable ragdoll cats inside, Wu Shuwei couldn’t stop cheering.
Li Yifei put down the things in his hand and also went over, reaching in to grab out the two little kittens. Wu Shuwei quickly patted his arm and said, "Be gentle, don’t hurt them!"
The little cats, brought out to a new environnt, seed a bit scared, their tiny claws gripping Li Yifei’s skin. Luckily, his skin was tough, or else it would have been scratched.
"Be careful, be careful!" Wu Shuwei kept reminding him.
Li Yifei placed the two kittens on the floor, watching Wu Shuwei want to pet them but also afraid of scaring them, he couldn’t help but laugh.
"Why are you laughing at ? I’m just... afraid of scaring them!" Wu Shuwei glanced at Li Yifei.
Li Yifei shook his head, turned to fetch the cat food, only to realize he forgot the food bowls. He went into the kitchen and grabbed a small bowl, poured in so cat food, and also so water, placing the two small bowls next to the kittens. They were already able to eat cat food dry. Seeing this, Wu Shuwei worriedly asked, "Isn’t that too hard?" Then she saw the two little cats sniffing the food, overcoming their fear of the new environnt, wobbling over, and burying their tiny heads in the bowl, crunching away at the cat food.
"They can really eat!" Wu Shuwei exclaid excitedly.
"Of course they can eat, their teeth have grown in!"
"Does this an I can feed them a lot of the things I eat?" Wu Shuwei asked.
"My rule is, if you don’t have to feed it to them, then don’t. Human food is often too salty or not suitable for them. Also, don’t give them milk, or they’ll get diarrhea. If you must, give them goat milk. Food-wise, canned cat food is enough, or you can prepare so boiled chicken or chicken liver for them," Li Yifei advised.
"Anything else?" Wu Shuwei listened intently, taking notes.
"Not much else. Oh, they’ve had their vaccines, but they’re only a little over two months old. When they’re about three months, they’ll need more vaccines," Li Yifei added.
Wu Shuwei nodded repeatedly, and when Li Yifei finished, she looked at him and said, "Yifei, thank you!"
"Do you like them?"
"I love them!" A joyful smile blood on Wu Shuwei’s face.
Li Yifei reached out and ruffled her hair, saying, "As long as you like them."
The two little cats, full and quenched, started curiously exploring their new ho and environnt. One of them beca braver and began inspecting around, even trying to jump onto the living room sofa. Unfortunately, it was still too small to make the leap.
Seeing the leather sofa scratched with few marks by the kitten’s claws, Li Yifei wanted to intervene, but Wu Shuwei didn’t mind at all.
"Rember to buy them a litter box, and food bowls. Nutritional paste isn’t urgent; oh, and the vaccines, don’t forget to get those. Also, rember to clip their nails, so they don’t scratch you," Li Yifei reminded her.
Upon hearing they needed to buy these things, Wu Shuwei quickly lifted her head and said, "Let’s go buy them now."
"Now?"
"Yeah, without a litter box, what if they need to go to the bathroom?"
"That’s true, let’s go then!" Li Yifei nodded.
However, as they were leaving, Wu Shuwei started to worry about whether the two kittens at ho would be scared or lonely. Li Yifei simply grabbed her hand and dragged her out, but Wu Shuwei kept looking back every few steps.
Those two little furballs had stolen her heart... Watching Wu Shuwei, who was sitting in the passenger seat and continually urging Li Yifei to hurry up, Li Yifei found it amusing. Who would have thought that such a capable, strong woman would beco so... adorable because of two little kittens!
They quickly bought the remaining essentials, and Wu Shuwei rushed ahead once more. When they got ho, she even forgot to take off her shoes, hurriedly poured cat litter into the litter box, and opened a can to lure the two kittens out from under the sofa.
Until around seven in the evening, Wu Shuwei was still playing with the kittens. Li Yifei, rubbing his growling stomach, went to the kitchen and opened the fridge, only to find it full of snacks and no noodles. He looked at Wu Shuwei, who was completely absorbed in playing with the cats. She was bent over the sofa in a rather ungraceful position, wearing loungewear that didn’t accentuate her figure, but she was still very attractive. The key was that her posture was very unusual; given her personality, it was unlikely for her to be so unguarded in front of a man.
Stealing a few glances at Wu Shuwei, Li Yifei closed the fridge door, put on his jacket, picked up the keys at the door, and prepared to go downstairs to buy sothing to eat.
"I’m going to get so food," Li Yifei said, jangling the keys.
Wu Shuwei finally looked up at Li Yifei, who was putting on his shoes at the door, blinked, and nodded, "Oh, okay. I want sothing spicy."
"Sichuan cuisine?" Li Yifei asked.
Wu Shuwei licked her lips and said, "Sure, I want frog legs, boiled fish, and... you can pick the rest!"
Li Yifei nodded in agreent and pushed the door open to leave. As soon as he left, the room fell quiet. Wu Shuwei, reaching out to play with the cats, suddenly stopped and thought of sothing, her cheeks turning red. A man was moving freely in her ho, and she pretended he wasn’t there, lounging in such a strange posture on the bed...
Rubbing her face, Wu Shuwei only felt her cheeks grow hotter, and after a while, she felt a sharp pain in her hair. It was a gutsy little kitten that had wandered over, curious about her hair.
"You two little rascals are bullying
too!" Wu Shuwei said, then laughed first herself. The two kittens were startled and imdiately ran a bit further away.
She sat up, crossed her legs next to the sofa, smacked her lips, and suddenly had a strange thought. Perhaps this wasn’t bad either; having a man at ho who could also handle als...
During this period, Wu Shuwei would either eat at her parents’ house or eat out before coming back. She also hardly had the habit of eating late-night snacks, so she wasn’t worried about getting hungry at night. Smacking her lips again, Wu Shuwei’s face felt hot once more. He dialed the phone, and Wu Youu seed a bit surprised, not expecting Li Yifei to call her. After a slight hesitation, Wu Youu asked straightforwardly, "Uncle, does that sister like the two kittens?"
"She really likes them, can’t put them down, probably still accompanying those two kittens now," Li Yifei replied with a smile.
"That’s great, as long as she likes them!" Wu Youu said, "Are you outside now?"
"? I’m going downstairs to get food!" Li Yifei replied.
Wu Youu made a sound of acknowledgnt, a sly smile appearing on her face, "Looks like you’re staying over tonight..."
"Kids shouldn’t ask so much!"
"If I grow a bit taller, I’ll catch up to you," Wu Youu retorted.
"Have you had dinner?"
"Just finished, taking a walk around the campus!"
"Isn’t walking at this ti making things difficult for yourself?"
"Why?" Wu Youu asked in confusion.
"It’s all couples around," Li Yifei laughed.
Wu Youu was at a loss for words, and after a few seconds, she replied, "I have poor eyesight, I can’t see them."
"Haha, that’s a good excuse!"
"Uncle, is it necessary to laugh so happily?" Wu Youu couldn’t help but ask.
"As long as you’re willing, there are so many guys who would go crazy trying to get you!"
"In an adolescent’s words, it’s better to have one person cherish you than a thousand chasing you. In more artistic words, if I don’t like them, I won’t marry even a millionaire; if I like them, I’ll marry even a pauper!" Wu Youu said.
Li Yifei chatted with Wu Youu while walking outside, and as he passed the neighborhood gate, he actually saw a Sichuan restaurant that was quite crowded. Li Yifei went in and ordered four dishes. This restaurant could even deliver, which was perfect. He paid the bill, left a deposit, and walked out to sit at the entrance and continue chatting with Wu Youu.
