The "Mirror Man’s Mirror of Birth" is a circular mirror that displays a pale gold color under dim light.

The decorations around the mirror are made of very ordinary bronze material, which also sparkles with a gentle pale gold luster under dim light, looking just like a vanity mirror placed on a table in a common household.

If there is anything different, it would be that it looks exceptionally, even abnormally "new." There are absolutely no signs of wear and tear, nor any traces of aging, as if it had returned to its original state.

But clearly... at the ti of its birth, it certainly wouldn’t have that pale gold radiance.

Because when this cursed object is used, everyone reflected in the mirror will lose a certain amount of their lifespan.

Therefore, before the ritual, Annan had driven everyone out of the room.

However, Annan thought for a mont and realized that he did not yet know the Silver Baron’s true na... After all, his greatest source of forbidden knowledge was from the ti he went shopping with the Paper Princess in the Royal Capital of Noah, buying books and taking lessons on the side, learning along the way.

And in Noah, one could not buy texts related to the secrets of the Silver Baron.

That would be far too taboo.

He did, however, rember his grandmother’s true na.

But inexplicably... he did not want to tell his parents about his plan to seek out the Tragedian.

So there was only one answer left—

"Bode, are you there."

"—Long ti no see, Charioteer."

A clear youthful voice rose before Annan: "Do you need sothing from ?"

An unbearable radiance continuously emanated from the mirror.

Annan couldn’t see Mr. Radiance’s face at all.

But that didn’t matter — after all, he had seen it before.

His mory still retained Mr. Radiance’s appearance and clothing.

"I would like to know, what is the Tragedian’s true na?"

"That werewolf?"

Mr. Radiance’s voice beca sowhat vigilant: "What do you want with him... he is not exactly a kind-hearted soul."

"I have just purified a nightmare and obtained many of his Holy Light imprints. But it is impossible for to exchange them for Divine Arts, so I want to make a deal with him."

Annan explained truthfully.

If he were facing his grandmother, he would not dare to be so candid; even with the Silver Baron, Annan would only tell selective truths—much like the feeling of facing a strict grandmother, and an uncle who would take him out to play but also be very demanding at tis.

But with Mr. Radiance, Annan felt no pressure at all.

If anything... it was like talking to a childhood friend who was like a brother from next door.

As expected, faced with Annan’s statent, Mr. Radiance did not neurotically continue to inquire. He simply provided the answer: "The na he used after entering the Thousand-Faced Phantom Tower and until he ascended to divinity, the na known to outsiders, was ’Sophocles’; while in the valley as a werewolf, his true na was ’Dionysus’. His original na was ’lampus’, known to no one but his parents.

"If your goal is rely to seek help... then the safest choice would be Dionysus. ’The Wolf of the Valley,’ aside from a so craziness and wildness in his character, is a very agreeable werewolf; but if you wish to gain so skills from him... then you should call ’lampus’.

"’Sophocles’ is very nasty, far worse than the Decayed Husband and the Skeletal Noble you’ve dealt with before. I do not recomnd that you interact with Him in any form."

Mr. Radiance’s explanation was very detailed.

After confirming that Annan wanted to proceed, he did not deter him once. He simply laid out all the potential problems Annan might face and their solutions as best he could.

One could say that he was a truly loyal younger brother indeed.

"Thank you very much, Mr. Radiance."

"Not at all, Charioteer. My brother," Mr. Radiance said warmly and brightly as the sun: "If you encounter any trouble, or have any worries, or even if you are just in a bad mood or feeling unwell, you can also call my na. If it’s you, I will always have ti.

"Even if you’re not in front of this mirror... as long as the sun can shine upon you, I will always be with you."

After Mr. Radiance finished speaking,

The bright and warm otherworldly power began to withdraw from the mirror in front of Annan.

The re remaining afterglow lit up the entire room.

Annan had long since sealed the door and windows, using only candlelight for illumination.

But now the room was as bright as day.

The light even flowed out from the cracks of the windows and doors like a liquid.

It naturally also flowed around the room, streaming in and out of every gap in Annan’s body. When he blinked, the liquid light even oozed out from the slits between his eyeballs and eyelids.

Yet Annan felt nothing out of the ordinary—he only felt a warm light embracing him. He didn’t find the light blinding, nor did he feel any burning sensation on his skin.

Because the light wouldn’t harm Annan.

As the light surged throughout the room, Annan inevitably saw a prompt appear before him:

[You have acquired a new mark "High-Level Influence: Flowing Radiance"]

[If not removed in ti, you will fall into a random nightmare with the keyword "Radiance" on the 8th of August (Difficulty: Twisted).]

Annan knew that "Flowing Radiance" was a higher influence than the "Low-Level Influence: Ecstatic Radiance".

Ordinary people who perford rituals related to Mr. Radiance usually received this influence.

Light would seep out of their minds.

They would need to lie face down in a dark environnt for a while to let the light drain out of their brains and the backs of their eyes.

Otherwise, they would continually feel an inexplicable ecstasy and might even disturb their normal thinking.

When they opened their eyes, every light source they saw would be several tis brighter; and even if they closed their eyes tightly, it wouldn’t be pitch black, but they would always see intense radiance, as if light were leeching onto their eyeballs.

It was a blessing as well as a punishnt.

The power of light, though not as fierce as fire or as ruthless as frost, seed very harmless... like Mr. Radiance: warm.

But to use "light", one must be prepared to endure it.

Those who still need to close their eyes to resist the light cannot manipulate its power as they would with their limbs.

Certainly, Annan was not among them.

"Got the na, huh..."

He didn’t overthink or hesitate.

He directly called out to the mirror, summoning that na:

"lampus... can you hear ?"

"You finally decided to call . I’ve been waiting for this day,"

a magnetic, low, and pleasant voice ca from the mirror: "Annan, of the Winter family... Our first eting was years ago, wasn’t it?"

The next mont, the image of a middle-aged man appeared in the mirror before Annan.

It didn’t match the rumored "middle-aged werewolf in a purple robe, with a decadent and sloppy appearance" at all—

Reflected before Annan was a middle-aged man with neatly combed-back hair, a reserved and pleased smile on his face.

His attire and facial features were very clean, his nose was lofty, and his eye sockets were as deep as the abyss... He was dressed in clothes similar to a black trench coat or black suit, which highlighted his reasonably solid physique.

He would look like a gambling god with a deck of cards and a godfather with a cat in his arms.

No matter how you looked at him, he was undoubtedly a man with potent male charm.

—The voice’s tone was spot on, absolutely phenonal.

The first thought that ca to Annan’s mind was sothing like that.

But before Annan could respond,

the Tragedy Writer sniffed lightly, as if he caught a scent of sothing.

That gesture was too elegant, as tender as one deeply slling a rose.

"Such a strong scent of brightness... I see, it was Mr. Radiance who gave you ’my’ na."

The Tragedy Writer smiled: "I really must thank him properly.

"So, dear Annan. You called out specially... is there sothing you need?"
