The woman was sowhat startled to see Su Chengyu suddenly regain his composure. Just as she was about to speak again, the nearby Martial Emperor spoke coldly.
“Alright, stop wasting words on this guy. Get him out of Cave Heaven quickly, so we can return.”

Stable in her arms, he stood with her, gazing at the unfolding scene. Su Chengyu addressed Bai Qiu, “That’s enough, Bai Qiu. There’s no need to deal a killing blow to these two.”
Upon hearing Su Chengyu’s words, Bai Qiu stopped, just as it had been prepared to finish the pair. Casually, it tossed the two battered individuals in front of Su Chengyu before descending gracefully.
anwhile, Long Ao Tian, who had partially recovered his vital force, appeared alongside them and asked in confusion, “Why? Weren’t these two the ones who ambushed you?”
Before Su Chengyu could respond, Bai Qiu interjected with a disdainful look, “These two? With their limited strength?”
Su Chengyu nodded, affirming Bai Qiu’s remark.
Yet, Bai Qiu still didn’t seem to grasp the situation entirely and questioned, “Even so, weren’t they accomplices? Why spare them?”
Su Chengyu remained silent, turning his gaze to the blood-stained Martial Emperor and said, “You’ve not fallen to Luo Ming’s irredeemable level yet. But if the Luo Clan only knows how to bully the weak, its annihilation is rely a matter of ti.”
The Martial Emperor looked up at Su Chengyu’s pale face, gritting his teeth. “You knew they would co to save you all along?”
Su Chengyu blinked and replied, “What else? I told you: saving Xu Nanzhi is more important than my own life. If I didn’t have a backup plan, do you think I’d let you take away so easily?”
The Martial Emperor froze montarily, then turned to look at his sister. Her evasive expression revealed she had long suspected the truth. Just as he was about to explode in anger, he noticed Su Chengyu narrowing his eyes and speaking coldly.
“If not for him, you would already be a dead man.”
The words silenced him completely. Then, Su Chengyu turned to the woman Martial Emperor and said softly, “Can I trouble you to deliver a few words to so people in the Luo Clan for ?”
