The Librarian replied, “As the custodian of the Ape Tribe’s civilization, I can connect to all operational Ape Tribe devices and access their data feeds. Eighty thousand years ago, I could still collect vast amounts of operational data from Ape Tribe technological devices, but starting seventy thousand years ago, those devices began breaking down one after another. Apart from the surveillance satellites in space, no other equipnt has transmitted operational data since then. Therefore, it’s likely that no functional Ape Tribe high-tech devices remain on Earth today.”
Gazing at the expansive library square, Yan Fei’s eyes lit up as he said, “Administrator, since there’s still a remnant Ape Tribe underground base here, doesn’t that an this underground base should still be operational?”
Not long ago, Yan Fei’s Drone Avatar had been attacked by high-energy weapons originating from within Mount Kilimanjaro. From earlier docuntaries, it was evident that Mount Kilimanjaro had served as the Ape Tribe’s headquarters. During their war against humanity, the Ape Tribe headquarters had launched high-energy weapons to destroy human combat aircraft.
The attack experienced by Yan Fei’s drone and the high-energy weapon strikes shown in the docuntaries were identical. Thus, the attack must have co from the Ape Tribe’s high-energy weapons, and this assault certainly originated from a remnant underground base of the Ape Tribe. Furthermore, this remnant base would have to still be operational, or it couldn’t have launched an external attack.
The Librarian explained, “After failing to receive surveillance data from the space-based satellites, the remaining Ape Tribe bases were reactivated for self-preservation. The artificial intelligence controlling the remnant base officially ca online and activated so hidden surveillance equipnt within Mount Kilimanjaro. It began monitoring the outside world to ensure no enemies infiltrated the base. Following the Outer Demons’ energy cannon attack here, most of Mount Kilimanjaro’s surveillance equipnt was destroyed. However, a small portion of surveillance equipnt survived, and that artificial intelligence is now using those devices to monitor the outside world.”
Yan Fei asked, “What’s the relationship between that artificial intelligence and you?”
The Librarian responded, “The artificial intelligence manages the entirety of the Ape Tribe’s network world, whereas I safeguard the Ape Tribe’s civilization achievents. We oversee different aspects, and there’s no direct jurisdiction between us.”
Yan Fei imdiately followed up, “Do you have surveillance videos recorded by the equipnt controlled by the artificial intelligence?”
