112 Chapter 83: Massacre

Hearing the conversation between the two Arican soldiers, Yan Fei finally understood what had felt off to him. It turned out that these US Forces and Japan Self-Defense Forces were the ones looking for the stolen high-tech data from China, and the Japanese police and soldiers he had previously encountered were actually sent by the Oogawa Family to capture him, as evidenced by Hideo Oogawa's appearance at the scene of the incident. It was well known that although Hideo Oogawa was a renowned expert in Japan, he only obeyed orders from his family and did not work for the governnt.

In this incident, there were two forces executing the capture mission, targeting two different people. The Oogawa Family was after Yan Fei, while the Arican soldiers targeted the woman who retrieved the secret data. Originally, Yan Fei and the woman might have never crossed paths in their lives, but fate played its tricks, and at the sa ti and in the sa place, they beca neighbors. Even more coincidentally, the adversaries of both of them found their way to their doors one after the other.

Although the woman had recovered the data, she had beco like a frightened bird. Assuming that anyone surrounding her was the enemy pursuing her, she inadvertently led the Oogawa Family away after leaving the data with Yan Fei. The Oogawa Family, undeniably in search of Yan Fei, saw soone leave and assud they had found the murder suspect. Without verifying, they hastily gave chase.

Just when Yan Fei thought the matter was over, the US Forces in collaboration with the Japan Self-Defense Forces once again surrounded the area, beginning the capture of the Chinese woman who took back the data. Yan Fei, keeping his promise, waited for the woman to return for the data, only to find himself suddenly trapped within the blockade, blocked here once again. Moreover, the force blocking his way was terrifying, far superior to that of the Oogawa Family alone.

Due to a strange twist of fate, Yan Fei and the woman had swapped identities. The woman had just broken through the Oogawa Family's encirclent and fled, and now Yan Fei was about to face the encirclent by the US and Japanese forces in a most nonsensical mix-up.

Although Yan Fei wasn't the direct target of the US Forces, they didn't care about such details. They went after anyone they saw here, and once they searched Yan Fei's room, he would be captured. In the subsequent interrogation, Yan Fei would definitely slip up, putting him at great risk. Therefore, to avoid capture by the US Forces, Yan Fei had to find a way to leave. He looked at the fully ard forces outside the blockade ring, but this ti, no one volunteered to draw the enemy's attention away from him.

Knowing that he couldn't leave safely this ti, Yan Fei once again activated the Drone. The Drone quickly left the water surface and began to fly at an ultra-low altitude, heading in his direction.

The Drone had previously been lurking less than five kiloters away from Yan Fei's actual location. At full flight speed, it would arrive here in an instant. Although the US and Japanese forces outside seed incredibly powerful, Yan Fei feared nothing with the Drone by his side. Since the woman had led away the pursuers from the Oogawa Family for him, it was a form of reciprocity for him to deal with these US troops that had co after her.

It was now past ten o'clock at night, and dark clouds were gathering in the sky with a breeze picking up, slowly turning into a gale. Eventually, the dark clouds pressed down on the city, and the wind blew furiously, looking as if it was turning the world upside down.

At that mont, a group of Japan Self-Defense Forces soldiers began knocking on Yan Fei's front door. After estimating the ti, Yan Fei opened the door, and several Self-Defense Forces soldiers barged in. Without a word, they began to search the room roughly, while others pointed their guns at Yan Fei, pressed him against the wall, and tried to put plastic handcuffs on him.

Suddenly, a white light flashed across the sky, followed by a thunderous roar. The thunder was so loud that it startled the Self-Defense Forces soldiers in Yan Fei's room. Just then, Yan Fei suddenly leaned his head back and slamd it hard against the face of the soldier holding him behind, making a "pop" sound as he smashed the soldier's head into a bloody ss, killing him instantly.

Yan Fei spun around, his right fist slamming hard into the neck of another soldier beside him, with a "crack," breaking the soldier's neck and instantly killing him.

The other soldiers searching the room were stunned and tried to draw their guns to retaliate, only to see Yan Fei flick his fingers rapidly, launching several steel balls that shot out like lightning, hitting them right between the eyes. The soldiers' hands froze in mid-action, and then they collapsed to the ground, dead.

Yan Fei's sudden action eliminated the soldiers who had entered his room, alerting the troops outside. They started shouting and charged toward Yan Fei's room, aiming to shoot him dead, even the Apache Ard Helicopters patrolling the sky were alerted. At this mont, two missiles appeared in the dark night, bringing with them flas of death and shooting towards the Apaches on patrol.

The radars on the Apache Ard Helicopters quickly detected the incoming missiles. The US military pilots urgently executed evasive maneuvers according to tactical requirents and launched decoy flares, hoping to deceive the missiles into attacking false targets. However, the two missiles were unresponsive to the decoy flares; they passed through the circle of decoys and continued to chase the Apache Ard Helicopters.

Although Apache Ard Helicopters possessed powerful low-altitude capabilities, their flight speed was slow, no match for the speed of the approaching missiles. The two missiles each struck an Apache Ard Helicopter, causing violent explosions. Huge plus of fire burst in the sky.

The army below was charging towards Yan Fei's ho when suddenly, an explosion was heard overhead, and then the burning wreckage of two Apache ard helicopters ca crashing down, crushing several unresponsive Japan Self-Defense Force soldiers to death. The other soldiers were shocked, and upon closer inspection, they saw a drone flying overhead in the darkness. Illuminated by the white light of lightning, the drone looked incredibly ferocious.

Then, the soldiers saw the drone's Vulcan Gun beginning to fire, guided by tracer rounds, and took down the police helicopter and Black Hawk transport aircraft that had been circling above Yan Fei.

The shocked soldiers on the ground started firing at the drone frantically. The anti-aircraft missiles on the five main battle tanks surrounding the district were also activated, but before they could fire the anti-aircraft missiles, the drone dived, and 30mm armor-piercing rounds rained down from above, striking the tops of the tanks on the ground.

Tanks may claim the title of kings of land warfare, but the 30mm Vulcan Gun of a drone is the greatest nesis of ground-moving armor. Under the attack of 30mm armor-piercing rounds, the five US Army main battle tanks on the ground could not hold out for five seconds before they were all destroyed by the drone. The tanks exploded and burned upon impact, and not a single driver made it out.

With one sweeping dive, the drone took out five US Army main battle tanks. Then, the drone turned around not far ahead and flew back. The soldiers of the US and Japan forces on the ground were instantly terror-stricken. They lay on the ground and fired their guns at the drone, not even bothering to capture Yan Fei anymore. However, their small-caliber bullets had no chance of penetrating the drone's specialized body. Although hit by several small-caliber bullets, the drone was unscathed, and Yan Fei did not feel any pain from injuries.

The drone possessed trendous maneuverability, capable even of vertical takeoff and hovering still; its quantum radar could target thousands at once. Yet Yan Fei did not demonstrate these capabilities to the soldiers; instead, he made the drone behave almost like any other. After all, having one more trump card could an an extra chance of survival when it mattered.

The drone returned, and the Vulcan Gun fired again, destroying all the armored vehicles behind the main battle tanks, and a large number of soldiers still inside the armored vehicles were eliminated.

Having annihilated the US military's armored vehicles, the drone turned around again and flew back. The Vulcan Gun started switching ammunition, from armor-piercing rounds to explosive rounds, then fired repeatedly at the targets below. Explosions rocked the ground continuously, and flas shot up everywhere, as the soldiers without cover were blown to death or wounded by bullets and shrapnel. Their pathetic small-caliber bullets were completely ineffective against the drone, utterly unable to breach its defenses.

Under Yan Fei's control, the Auxiliary Brain swiftly scanned with the quantum radar, revealing all the hidden enemies below, and with the precise control of the Auxiliary Brain, the Vulcan Gun comnced a fierce attack. In less than a minute, all the soldiers surrounding the area were killed by the drone.

Inevitably, the drone's battle also caused collateral damage to the houses here. Even a few of the Japanese people who had been captured on the nearby bus died innocent deaths. Although Yan Fei felt a twinge of guilt in his heart, there was nothing he could do. Tonight's operation amounted to an act of war where the sole purpose was to kill as many enemies as possible while preserving one's own life. These Japanese people were rely collaterally involved. Yet in war, who isn't innocent?

This place had originally been completely encircled and blockaded by the US and Japanese forces, with a full array of light and heavy weapons, and even the support of Apache ard helicopters. It seed impossible for anyone to escape safely. But who knew that things would change so rapidly. A drone that appeared suddenly overturned the situation, wiping out US ard helicopters, main battle tanks, and armored vehicles, slaughtering the soldiers on the ground as easily as chopping vegetables. The swift reversal of the situation was beyond anyone's imagination.

Corpses lay everywhere around Yan Fei, but he felt no sympathy for the fallen soldiers— they were enemies, and it was a kill-or-be-killed situation. Seeing no further threat around him, he jumped up, and the drone descended just in ti. He grabbed onto a weapon rack under the drone's wing with one hand, and the drone took off quickly, heading into the dark night sky.

Just as Yan Fei left the scene, an imnse bolt of lightning struck in the sky, lighting up the entire Tokyo city, followed by a thunderous roar; it seed as if the heavens had been shaken to their core. Then, a great wind rose, and at last, a torrential downpour began.
