"There are no habitable planets around here." Evelyn shook her head.
"There are plenty of interesting planets, though. There is a big gas planet where you will have a hard time walking. There is also a planet with multiple moons, which make the water flow unpredictably," added Bella.
"That’s interesting. I want to see it!" Sera looked excited.
"Hehehe." Bella chuckled.
"We have checked around. There are a total of three portals in this world. All we need to do is to pick which one we should go." Selena reported.
"About that..." Nathan raised one finger. "I actually checked all those portals. It was just a peek, but I noticed that this world might have inhabitants."
"!!!" They widened their eyes in shock. They simply couldn’t believe what they had just heard.
"Another human?"
"There’s no guarantee it will be a human."
"This is interesting. What kind of beings are they?"
"Let’s go there straight away!"
"Do we have the language to talk to them?"
The girls sounded excited. Nathan also wanted to meet them. After all, when he was on Earth, people were busy trying to find living beings on other planets. They searched for aliens, but found almost nothing. The best they could find were microorganisms.
However, Earth had been transported to a very far place, which made all the surrounding worlds not have life. They simply didn’t have enough time to form plete lifeforms.
However, this place was different. There were a lot of habitable planets, not to mention the plete lifeforms. As long as they could establish a connection with this world, they might be able to get something out of them.
"Well, since you guys are curious, we can go right away. I have set up the signal for Iris so that she could catch up to us, so it’s fine." Nathan snapped his fingers, using teleportation to bring them there.
Evelyn and Nathan first reinforced the portal so that everyone could enter at the same time.
After a whole day, they had reinforced the power enough to teleport there. However, they would make sure to weaken the portal again once they were done.
It wouldn’t be at the original level, but at the level where Iris could pass through it.
This way, Iris wouldn’t have any problems when chasing after them.
After waiting for so long, they finally stepped into another living world.
"Whoa?" Sera covered her mouth in surprise. "Where are we? In a jungle?"
They were surrounded by large trees. The trees were so thick, tall, and spacious that it looked like they had entered a fairytale. The mist was covering the area, so it was hard to see what was ahead.
Fortunately, they were already gods, so they didn’t have any big problems traversing within the mist.
Nathan couldn’t help but furrow his brow. "Be careful. I sense a presence."
"Yeah, me too!" Selena and a few others agreed.
Noelle drew her blade while Alavenya raised her fists.
"Raaa!" A creature suddenly lunged at them from the left.
"!!!" Noelle reacted instantly and punched the creature’s head from the side, knocking it down. She then stomped the creature’s neck, maintaining a low pressure so that the creature didn’t die.
However, the moment she got a good look at the creature, she immediately crushed its head.
It was an alien.
"Hmm... An alien?" Nathan frowned. The alien had green skin as though it had blended with nature itself.
"Should I disperse this mist?" Bella asked.
"Should we fly?" Sera wondered if they should do it in a convenient way.
Before Nathan answered, he and Evelyn suddenly stopped. "There are more ing."
"!!!" They were slightly surprised, but they immediately raised their stance.
"Not just one. There are..." Nathan frowned.
"I could sense 17 of them." Evelyn was ready to launch a counterattack if they were going to attack.
Nathan raised his head. These creatures came not from the ground, but from the tops of the trees, unlike the alien earlier. They looked much more organized, so it made them think they were the real inhabitants of this world.
Suddenly, these people stopped as though they were able to find their targets.
A wave of arrows flew at high speed.
"Hmmm?" Nathan caught an arrow easily. Selena and the others didn’t bother to use their energy as well.
"These arrows are quite powerful. What’s their strength? Warrior class alien?" Nathan asked.
"Yeah. Looking at the sharpness, they can pierce through a warrior class alien." Luna examined the arrows.
Nathan spoke in a loud voice. "I e in peace. I wonder if I can talk to the representatives."
Since he had the plete sigil, he should be able to municate with them. He just didn’t know which language they were using.
However, it didn’t seem that they were intending to talk.
Suddenly, another barrage of arrows flew toward them.
Nathan finally extended his hand forward, using a barrier to block the arrows. Even though the arrows were powerful, they were only at normal people’s standards. pared to his divine power, Nathan could stop them with his eyes closed.
As if seeing the chance to cut his arm, a creature emerged from the mist, landing on the ground while raising its crescent-shaped blade. It was ready to chop Nathan’s arm.
But when the creature was about to cut his arm, Noelle cut the blade first and kicked this unknown creature.
"!!!" The creature raised the other arm. A flame-like power emerged from his hand, reducing the impact.
However, Noelle kicked him hard to the point where his arm broke.
"Gaaaaa!" The creature screamed. The creature had a humanoid appearance, but its appearance was a bit weird. In a way, they might be 60% close to that of an elf in appearance. They had pointy ears as well.
However, their skin was white, gray even. It looked so pale, making it feel like they had never seen the sun in their entire life.
Seeing one person got knocked out, a few others jumped toward Nathan and the others, trying to ambush them. The other archers released their arrows, trying to surround them.
"Well..." Nathan narrowed his eyes.
