759 You should not underestimate !

Awa waited for Ester to drink her potion. She took out the potion from her body as if she could keep the healing potion in her condensed shadow body.

Awa leaned over to Ester. She removed the cork from the vial and placed the vial on Ester’s lips. “Drink this. It will help you feel better.”

“But what about you? Don’t you need the potion?” Ester asked. She didn’t want to take the one potion use rule from her.

Awa gently shook her head. “I can resist a lot of the pain in this form. I do not break bones, suffer from cuts and bruises, or lose limbs permanently. Until my mana runs out, I will only be temporarily injured.”

“But...”

“No need to worry about . My mind can take the pain because we Dullahans are proud of our strong wills.” Awa proudly said as if it was okay to resist suffering temporary pain.

Ester resigned to Awa’s insistence. After living with the competitive Lupa, Ester could consider Awa’s pride in her strong will to be on the sa level.

“Thank you, my new reliable sister, Awa. ” Ester responded with a warm and reassured smile.

Awa tilted the vial upwards and gave Ester the potion. She felt pleased to hear a thank you as it was a word the Dullahans did not speak sparingly. The word “thank you” was valuable to Awa, more than Ester could imagine.

.....

Awa extended her hand. Ester nodded and accepted her hand.

Ester was helped to stand up. She lightly tapped on the ground with her previously injured foot. “I feel tired, but the potions have almost recovered all my injuries.” She said while looking at her feet.

“You can rest for a while if you feel tired.”

“Thanks for the offer Awa, but aren’t you also tired?”

“I am a proud Dullahan. Minor inconveniences such as being tired will not stop from killing that bear.” Awa contorted her face in anger. “Not after that bear looks not too different from the great Orso or the undead bear that destroyed my ho and killed my people.”

“Hehe.” Ester chuckled. She could understand why Vincent teased her by saying Awa was not very different from her. When Ester and Awa wanted to do sothing, they tried their best to resist, as Awa put it, minor inconveniences.

Ester opened her hands. Elsir and Elsie vibrated and rosed from the ground to her hands. Ester spun both black and white swords with her fingers and stopped after a few spins.

“Rest? We can rest after we win. Not that my legs can move, I can help you and your horse Night take revenge.” Ester told Awa reassuringly.

Awa turned around. She glared at the bear and noticed Night constantly jumping while spinning like a blade saw to cut the attacks thrown at her. Night was doing her best not to get injured, and the damage she was doing was similar to landing scratches.

Awa felt reassured Ester was going to help her. She hoped Ester could sohow help her defeat the bear.

However, Awa didn’t know how powerful the new Ester beside her beca.

With the nad short sword Elsir alone and its amplification power, Ester beca about twice as strong.

With the nad short sword Elsie, Ester’s power had reached an unknown power level.

Ester was like a portable charger. She could only output mana for the amplification magic. With Elise and its mana absorption, the situation drastically changed. Ester beca like a charger plugged into a power outlet.

It was as if the two short swords Elsir and Elsie were made to be used together. As if the owner of each sword was destined to kill one another and steal the twin sword for themselves.

“Let’s go. ” Ester said.

Awa nodded. “Yes. Let’s kill that bear.”

After exchanging these words, the two left to attack the large, powerful bear. Awa jumped to the sky while Ester covered her body with wind sigil tattoos and ran without minding the mana she was expanding as her mana was gradually being recharged thanks to the dark short sword Elsie.

Mimi jumped back and landed beside Vincent. She moved her head and licked her lips when Vincent standing beside her, entered her view.

The two gladiators stopped. They smirked mockingly as if they wanted to show they were not as weak as the gladiator Vincent killed himself.

The gladiators were overconfident that they would win, as if being in the bizarre berserker class only form was filling them with overconfidence and arrogance. Their judgnt was also apparently being affected as they didn’t seem to mind losing three teammates.

Both sides looked at each other at about half a ter distance. Mimi swiftly moved behind Vincent and leaned her head. With a grin on her face, she took a quick snack for the third ti.

While Vincent was taken by surprise because of the hungry vampire girl, a cold glass touched his bottom lips. A pleasant substance entered his mouth. He felt more tired than before, but his body wasn’t aching for the pain as before.

[Mimi used her potion on you. It appears your blood is the only potion Mimi needs, but I hope she will not suck you dry, hehe.]

-...- Vincent didn’t want to respond.

“Ladies and gentlen. The fight of Vincent and Mimi Lionheart against the gladiators aty and Slaveone is about to comrce. Stay on your toes because both sides are preparing to give us a good show.”

The overconfident aty moved first. His sword beca covered with energy. He was about to use Wild Blow on Vincent and Mimi behind him.

Vincent clenched his teeth and threw a punch with all his might.

*Clang* Both forces clashed.

aty beca shocked his sword was pushed back by a few inches. On the other hand, Vincent was pushed back by the recoil of the impact. However, Mimi placed her hands on Vincent’s back and supported him. They only moved back a few steps.

“This lump of muscles is mine. ” Vincent said while glaring at aty.

Vincent knew his stats were not enough to give him a win. He also knew from Kazumi’s observation that Mimi was having a difficult ti defeating aty because of his stats and his mutated traits.

Mimi understood Vincent wanted to fight aty because he had a plan in mind. “Rember that my father is watching . You better not let get hurt, hehe.” She teased.

*Gulp* “I have to go all out then.” He responded while thinking Mimi’s joke was not completely wrong. It was better to show Vlad he was a responsible and trustworthy person.

“Soul Reset.” He said with the determination to go all out and use soul power to increase his odds of winning.

.

[Notice]

[The host has used Soul Reset. 20 Soul Power has been consud. The host has 20 Soul Power left.]

[The host’s mutation class abilities with a cooldown will have their duration reset.]

.

Vincent slowly clenched his fists, one finger at a ti, and said, “Overheat.”

.

[Notice]

[Overheat is already active.]

[The conditions of [Soul Reset] have been t. One stack of Overheat with 50% of its original duration will be added to the current Overheat duration stack.]

[Overheat ti remaining is 11 minutes and 1 second.]

Vincent cracked his neck. His lips moved confidently moved to say, “Critical Ti. Critical Ti. Critical Ti.”

.

[Notice]

[Critical Ti has been activated. Reducing Overheat duration by half.]

[Critical Ti has been activated. Reducing Overheat duration by half.]

[Critical Ti has been activated. Reducing Overheat duration by half.]

[Overheat duration left is 1 minute and 23 seconds.]

.

Vincent leaped forward and swung his arm. The more his arm moved, and the fist approached closer to aty, the more tiny sigils appeared behind his elbow.

aty raised his shield to block the attack. On his face was a confident smirk. He believed Punchingbag lost because he made a mistake and because Vincent fought with all he had.

This ant the Vincent before him was exhausted. Not to ntion he had taken a potion to recover from his wounds, causing him to beco more tired than before.

aty overconfidently believed incent did not have what it takes to beat him.

aty clenched his sword firmly, ready to deliver a one-slash kill. While he moved his arm backward to prepare to counterattack, he moved his shield to shield bash Vincent, and knock him to the ground.

In the blink of an eye, Vincent’s fist landed against the shield with a loud clang. aty placed his strength to knock Vincent, but try as he might, Vincent was not knocked down, as if both had the sa force.

aty beca perplexed by this strange situation. He stopped the thought of swinging his sword and glared down at Vincent to see what was happening.

aty’s eyes widened from the unexpected view as he saw nurous dots of light appear and Vincent’s strike losing the clash by a small margin.

aty beca furious to see the man he considered an easy kill suddenly muster enough power to almost compete with his strength.

“Die!” aty shouted while swinging his sword at Vincent.

[Vincent!]

-I know! I have to do it again while my mana can keep the tiny wind sigils active.-

[I understand, but you better do it now. With the mana left in your body, you might be able to keep this up for two seconds max.]
