419 Crisps, drinks, and... slaps?

Vincent closed the door, leaving Vivid to handle Nick alone.

Vincent turned his head and saw everyone, including Plow looking at him as if they couldn’t hold from asking about his and Kazumi’s thoughts. Lupa started first while Iris asked last.

Vincent sighed. He couldn’t respond with a suitable answer because he had never written a love letter to anyone before. In the end, the confession was handled mainly by Kazumi and Lilith.

As they were enjoying their ti, a strange sight caught their attention. Clair was cooking while Pussy and the student owner of the food stall were serving food.

There were four tables, and two of them had students eating while peeking at Pussy. Obviously, the carefree cat girl acting as a waitress attracted the wrong attention. However, the students were eating the food without complaining. It appeared the food was good enough for a noble’s taste bud.

Pussy winked and asked, “So, what do these custors want?”

*Gulp* Vincent looked at his wives, smiling at him as if they wanted to help Clair by ordering sothing. His money trembled, but he couldn’t say no after being involved in this situation.

*Sigh* “Bring us a light snack to share. You want publicity, right?” Vincent hoped Pussy wouldn’t bring a costly al to the table.

Shortly, Pussy brought four plates of crisps made out of thinly cut potatoes. On each plate was a different sauce made by Clair. Pussy’s trap quickly beca a pleasant ti. Furthermore, as Vincent ntioned, many were looking at them.

Clair noticed Vincent, Ester, Lupa, Iris, Lilith, and Plow eating and enjoying the food she made. It made Clair happy to see people she knew liked her food.

As ti passed, Clair beca surprised that the four tables had custors eating her food, and many others ordered takeaway.

Later, Clair saw Vincent and his wives stand up and about to leave. They waved at her before leaving, and she slightly waved back.

Clair felt a pang in her heart at the sight of Ester, Lupa, Iris, and Lilith looking happy in their relationship with Vincent. Custors who were a couple also began to make her think about what Nick said.

About half a day had passed, and another half remained. Clair had enough ti to set her feelings straight because the custors wouldn’t stop visiting any ti soon.

Vincent nodded and left, intending to tell Nick or Vivid about the food stall. Coincidently, Vincent saw Nick and Vivid drinking in a small alcohol stall after walking for a few minutes.

After Vincent inford them about Clair and Pussy, the two paid the tab and left in a hurry. If Nick wanted to talk to Clair or not, only they could traverse their own fate.

The coin road was packed with people, and they needed to find a vacant place. As they walked to the side of the road, Kazumi noticed a woman with white hair walking with a man. She guessed they might be Jun Ye Rim and the history teacher Ming Xiao Fan upon a better look.

Kazumi left Vincent’s body, went to a corner, and poked her face to see what was happening. At first, she felt excited, but the two elves sat on a chair and drank tea. The two elves later started reading different books.

Clair and Pussy finished working. The second-year student paid both the cook and the waitress as he promised after he didn’t have enough food for tomorrow.
