418 Creating an intriguing love confession
*Day 93 – 10 September – Wednesday*
In the morning of the next day, Vincent heard about the incident Nick suffered yesterday. He tried to cheer Nick while the two ran in the morning run around the mansion with Lupa and Vivid beside them.
After the four of them finished running, Vincent decided to ask his wives for a favor. He hoped they could convince Clair that Nick isn’t a bad person. Or at least let Clair know they didn’t see him doing anything like the rumors about him say.
The day quickly passed as the morning and evening lessons didn’t have anything new to learn. They were similar to the previous days.
Later, the audience consisting of Lupa, Iris, Lilith, and Plow, took a seat and ate a snack as if it was an entertaining show. The cool breezes from Maria’s mana were about to beco an eight-minute event to wait for.
After about two minutes in, Nick and Vivid brought a chair and took a seat. They ate a sandwich and nodded sotis. Only Clair, Pussy, and Jun Ye Rim didn’t spectate.
Eight minutes passed. Vincent deactivated Overheat and looked at his hands. A smirk appeared on his face as today’s training brought him a new surprise.

On the opposite side was Maria. She only ditates and practices alone since lissa would be beaten easily, and Darwin didn’t have ti to spar with her. This eight-minute activity that crossed the lines between a spar and a real fight was helping Maria beco proficient without her knowing.
The eight-minute show was over, and they went to ditate. Nick was tired that day, so he went with Vivid and Lupa to see them spar.
Late at night, Vincent didn’t forget to feed his little plant vampire Zero his blood.
“Huh?” Vincent turned around, but no one was behind him. He felt a presence, but no one other than Zero entered his view.

“It must have been a fly then.” Vincent felt a pair of eyes looking at him, but he didn’t want to worry Kazumi since it might have been Zero.

Today was the second Saturday in the academy. Two more to go until the one-week-long test in the forest begins.
Nothing noteworthy happened in the previous two days other than his body becoming more in tune with CQC foundation movents under duress of Energy Flow, reaching five percent in Minor Elent Tolerance and gaining a total of nine mana.
Ironically, Vincent reached seventy mana, yet he didn’t have a class with the ability to use spells at the cost of mana. Furthermore, if he and Kazumi manage to create a spell similar to Ice Lance, the chances were high that it would be like Minor Heal and use Soul Power points as a casting requirent.
However, the progress Vincent experienced was nothing compared to the progress in Clair and Nick’s situation. Ester and Lilith spent two days occasionally chatting with Clair about Nick and how he isn’t a bad person.
Unbeknown to everyone, Pussy overheard Nick asking Vincent if he could help with letting Clair know how he isn’t like the rumors say. Another ti while lazing on the roof, Pussy overheard Vivid telling Nick how liking a person that is afraid of him is bad for the heart.
Whenever Ester and Lilith chatted with Clair, Pussy would eagerly appear, slyly wink, and sarcastically say sothing like, “When is master going to get married?” Causing Clair to blush, and the conversation about Nick left for a later ti.
A grand plan was planned by Vincent, his wives, Vivid, and Pussy. Everyone was to teleport together, and both genders split into groups. However, Vincent warned his wives to remain vigilant of Kilo Blackheart.
Kazumi even used Soul Visit and showed each one of them what the person they had to avoid looked like.
Later, after descending the dead volcano of Paradise Island, they split into two groups. The girls went to look at the stand and later went to eat before Lupa dried from drooling too much. On the other hand, Vincent had Nick and Vivid follow him.
After visiting a few student stalls, Vincent noticed a cracked wooden buckler. The shield was enchanted with a toughness rune, but its durability said otherwise. The shield might have succeeded on the last try.
Vincent turned haggling mode on and managed to buy it for three silver coins from the asking price of ten silver coins. Nick and Vivid stared at Vincent during the haggling process. Vincent was like a different person for those few minutes to them.
Vincent looked at the shield with a satisfied smile. He tried to imagine seeing Sakura receiving the gift and smiling happily. On the other than, the student didn’t look too happy with the discount he gave.
The student felt ripped off sowhat. In the end, the coin road was a road where the best of the best could buy what they wanted for a good price or sell for a profitable price.
Vincent suddenly suggested visiting team ten’s house because he hoped to see his wives there. Vivid suggested that he and Nick would also go to rest before going for another round.
Later, the two groups t inside the small house.
Pussy asked Clair to bring her makeup bag from the female’s bedroom. About a minute after Clair left, Vivid told Nick if he could bring his bag with coins hidden under a pillow while he prepared tea. Nick agreed and went to the male’s bedroom.
After entering the bedroom, Clair rembered how Pussy doesn’t have a makeup bag, and she is so bad with makeup that Clair has to do her makeup. On the other hand, Nick rembered that Vivid didn’t have spare money from the previous weekend.
As their faces began to frown, a letter on a bed caught their curiosity. When they opened the letter, Clair read sentences with missing words while Nick had words and the order to shout the words three tis slowly for his wish to co true.
Nick scratched his head, but the wish to co true part intrigued him. Nick gulped and began shouting three tis, even if he knew it was a joke written in Vivid’s bad handwriting.
Soon, his loud voice could be heard from downstairs clearly. A smile soon appeared on everyone’s faces as their plan had reached its final phase.
Nick repeated loudly three tis slowly, “RED, SWEET, NIKOLAI GRAYMOON, DISLIKE, WHO, LIVING, UPON, MY SIGHT, A, EXIT, NIKOLAI GRAYMOON, FLUTTER, FIRST, RED DAWN, FIRST, PARTNER, FUTURE, CO.”
Clair was reading the letter dedicated to her by soone when she heard Nick loudly say words that were missing in the letter in her hands.
“Roses are .red. violets are blue, and Clair is as .sweet. as an eclair.”
“I.Nikolai Graymoon. am in love with you. I .dislike. people .who. mistreat slaves because they are .living. beings with feelings like us.”
“However, after gazing .upon. your beauty that blessed .my sight. and witnessing the kind gesture of helping .a. slave .exit. the carriage, I .Nikolai Graymoon. felt my heart .flutter. for the .first. ti.”
“Clair .Reddawn., you are my .first. love. Please, beco my .partner. in the .future. to .co.”
Clair quickly understood it was made in a way that makes the reader curious about the missing words and later overheard them from soone else’s mouth.
Nick finished and opened the door. He stopped at the stairs and said, “Vivid, what is this joke all about? I thought I should humor you since you took a lot of your ti to write the letter in your difficult-to-read handwriting.”
The door of the female’s bedroom opened. Clair slamd her letter against Nick’s chest while exclaiming, “So I am a joke to you!”
Clair quickly descended the stairs and left. Pussy slyly smirked as if she found this interesting and went after her.
“This... and this... the two letters match! Vivid! Explain!” Nick looked furious as it ant he confessed his true feeling with Vivid’s help and was rejected by his first love.
Vivid lowered to his knees and apologized. Fortunately, after Vincent inford Nick how he, his wives, Vivid, and even Pussy tried their best to make it a morable confession, Nick felt bad for becoming angry.
Nick was being helped for a chance to create a new couple, yet his words were the cause of his guaranteed failure. Nick descended the stairs, helped Vivid stand up, and hugged him.
“We will leave Nick in your hands, Vivid. ” Vincent said. He and his wives left the house before Nick’s welling tears couldn’t be held back.
