Nolan gave a calm nod and launched forward. The wind howled around him, carrying the shimr of his ti-altering aura. Above the castle, he caught sight of Damian colliding with the demon, their clash sending shockwaves through the air. Sparks of dark energy t golden light as each strike rippled across the courtyard.
Boom!
A massive chunk of stone flew toward Nolan, sent careening by one of the fleeing knights. Nolan shifted ti around it—slowing its movent to a crawl—and let it harmlessly fall.
Above the castle courtyard, Damian clashed with the demon. The air around them scread in violent gusts as dark and golden energies collided. Damian’s aura flared like molten sunlight, each strike creating shockwaves that split the ground below. The demon countered with vicious, jagged strikes, its own black energy writhing like living shadows.
"Your strength...!" the demon hissed, staggering back from a strike Damian had delivered with terrifying speed.
"I told you... you can’t stop ," Damian growled, his eyes burning with draconic fire even in human form. Every movent radiated pure divine dragon power, faster and more precise than any demon could hope to match.
Boom! A massive shockwave erupted as Damian’s fist connected with the demon’s chest. The force sent the creature smashing into the castle walls, stone shattering in every direction. Yet, the demon rose, snarling, unwilling to yield.
"Pathetic...!" the demon roared, raising its clawed hand to strike again.
Damian leapt higher, spiraling into the air. His golden aura beca a blinding light, scales shimring faintly beneath his skin. This is my limit, and I won’t hold back. He struck again, each punch shattering the ground and sending arcs of energy cascading across the battlefield.
anwhile, far below, Nolan soared toward the dungeon where Prince Zohar was rampaging. The massive doors had already been torn from their hinges, stone and debris littering the ground. Inside, Zohar’s monstrous form moved like a living earthquake, smashing knights and guards with casual swings of his massive limbs.
"Nolan... you ca," Zohar bellowed, his eyes burning crimson with rage. "You’ll die... human!"
"I’m here to stop you before anyone else gets hurt," Nolan said calmly, hovering above the rubble. His golden aura flared, ti subtly bending around him, giving him an almost unreal presence.
Zohar lunged forward, massive fists swinging. Nolan dodged effortlessly, leaving streaks of afterimages behind him as the dungeon walls cracked under the force of the prince’s attacks.
Outside, the sounds of Damian and the demon’s battle echoed like thunder, shaking the castle. Every strike Damian landed was precise, calculated, and devastating—enough to make the demon falter despite its malevolent strength.
"Not... enough!" the demon hissed, staggering back, wings of shadow flickering as it tried to maintain control.
Damian hovered above the battlefield, his golden aura flaring like molten sunlight. Every motion radiated raw power, and the wind whipped violently around him. The demon lunged again, claws swinging with lethal intent, its black energy cutting through the air like jagged lightning.
"Ah... it’s you, Master," Damian said calmly, raising his shield as the demon’s strike slamd into it. Bam! The impact reverberated like a cannon blast, yet the shield held firm, glowing with radiant energy. Sparks scattered from the clash as the demon recoiled in disbelief.
The demon hissed, slashing again and again, but every strike t the sa unyielding barrier. Thud... thud... thud! "Impossible... a re human... yet..." the demon growled, voice trembling with fury.
Damian’s eyes glowed like molten gold. "Stop toying with . Your gas end now."
The demon shrieked, swinging with all its might, but Damian’s shield absorbed every strike. His wings flared slightly, and the aura intensified, shimring with a divine light that made the surrounding air shimr and crackle.
"You’ve been hungry for battle, haven’t you?" Nolan’s voice echoed in Damian’s mind. "End this now. Protect the elves. Don’t let the chaos spread. Finish it."
Damian’s grip on the shield tightened. The energy around him flared, forming a radiant barrier that pulsed with power. The demon’s attacks slowed, its shadowy limbs trembling against the divine force.
"Ah... so this is... your true strength," the demon gasped, retreating, realizing it could not break through. "I’ve... been touching you this whole ti?"
Damian did not respond. Instead, he launched forward, moving faster than the eye could follow. The demon tried to flee, but Damian intercepted it effortlessly. His aura flared into a blinding golden blaze.
With a single, fluid motion, Damian struck, his hand gripping the demon’s neck. The world seed to slow around them as his divine power surged through his veins. His human form shimred, scales flickering beneath his skin, golden eyes burning with intensity.
Crack! The demon’s head was crushed, and blood spilled across the battlefield. Damian’s aura enveloped the area, forcing the remaining darkness of the demon to dissipate. Slowly, his form returned fully to human shape, but the sheer radiance of his presence still made the ground tremble.
"I’m done here," Damian said softly, turning his gaze toward the elven village below. His aura softened, still powerful, but no longer a storm of wrath. "Let’s make sure no one else gets hurt."
He began descending toward the village, each step asured, controlled, the wind settling around him. The elves, who had been hiding in fear, peered from their hos, awe and relief flooding their faces. The shadow of the demon was gone, and for the first ti in days, peace seed tangible.
Nolan moved without hesitation.
Zohar’s massive arm ca crashing down, but Nolan twisted aside at the last second, the impact shattering the stone floor where he had stood.
Too slow...
Another strike followed—then another. Nolan weaved through them, his body reacting on instinct alone.
"He’s adapting," Nolan thought. Even like this... he’s still dangerous.
Zohar snarled, his monstrous fra pulsing with unstable power. "Why won’t you stop moving?" he roared, his voice echoing through the ruined halls.
Nolan exhaled slowly. "You’re the one who should stop."
Zohar laughed—a deep, broken sound. "Then stop dodging!"
Nolan did.
He stood completely still.
The mont stretched.
Zohar’s eyes widened. "You... you’re not moving?"
Nolan raised his head slightly. "You told not to."
Zohar roared and swung with everything he had, his massive fist tearing through the air like a falling mountain—
BOOM!
The blow landed squarely against Nolan’s chest.
Silence.
Zohar’s eyes trembled. "What...?"
Nolan hadn’t moved an inch.
He slowly lifted his head, completely unhard.
"That was disappointing," Nolan said calmly.
Zohar’s body shook. "Impossible—!"
Nolan stepped forward.
In the next instant—BAM!
His fist crashed into Zohar’s chest.
The force sent Zohar flying through the corridor like a cannonball, smashing through stone walls and crashing deep into the dungeon below. Debris rained down as the structure groaned from the impact.
Zohar slamd into the far wall, coughing violently.
Two prisoners nearby scread and fled in terror.
He staggered to his feet and caught his reflection in a broken mirror—his face twisted, monstrous, unrecognizable.
"What... have I beco...?" he whispered.
His breathing grew ragged.
"I lost everything... because of that human..."
Before he could finish—
CRACK!
Nolan’s fist slamd into his face again, snapping his head sideways as blood sprayed across the floor.
Zohar collapsed, barely standing now.
Nolan stepped forward, eyes cold, voice low.
"You’re still breathing," he said. "So this isn’t over yet."
Zohar lay sprawled on the cracked stone floor, his monstrous form heaving, dark energy pulsating around him like living shadows. Every breath he drew sent tremors through the dungeon. His enormous hands scraped the ground as he struggled to rise.
"Y-You... dare stand before ?" he hissed, voice rough and distorted by rage and power.
Nolan’s calm gaze t Zohar’s, unshaken by the chaos, unshaken by the sheer size and fury of the transford prince.
"Well... it looks like you’re still in your senses," Nolan said quietly, his voice almost casual amid the roaring energy. "But I’m afraid this ends now."
A deep, guttural scream erupted from Zohar’s throat. The air itself seed to tear as his aura surged, black lightning crackling across his massive, hulking fra. His muscles swelled further, skin darkening, veins like molten cracks across his arms. Steam hissed from his nostrils.
"Enough!" Zohar roared, slamming a fist into the ground. The impact shattered the floor and sent shards of stone flying in every direction. The walls shook violently, dust and debris cascading from above.
Nolan didn’t move.
Instead, he stepped forward, the faint shimr of his aura brushing against the destruction around him, a calm island in the storm.
"You think this... this rage makes you stronger?" Nolan asked, voice steady, almost taunting. "You’re being consud by it, Zohar. It’s not power—it’s poison."
Zohar growled, rising to his full monstrous height, arms spreading wide. His shadow stretched across the broken hall like a storm cloud. "POISON?!" He bellowed. "I’ve been humiliated! I’ve been mocked! They all looked down on ! Now I have power! REAL power! And I’ll show them! I’ll crush them all... starting with YOU!"
