Chapter 1866: 447: Terrence Lentz: Do I need a big vacuum? _5

“You might think I’m taking this too lightly, but sotis the bystander sees clearer than the player. Sister, the situation is irreversible now. If you upset Jennifer because of this, wouldn’t that be counterproductive?”

Eunice took a deep breath. “I understand all you’re saying, but I just can’t face the fact that my daughter, whom I painstakingly raised for twenty years, suddenly turned into a boy one day! Could it be that there’s sothing wrong with my way of parenting? But I can’t figure out what went wrong. Ever since Jennifer was born, Jael and I, no matter how busy we were, always made ti to spend a couple of hours with her daily to chat, play, and listen to her, and our relationship has always been very close. How could she just…”

Perhaps only a parent could truly understand this feeling.

It was better not to talk about it; now, whenever it was ntioned, Eunice felt so upset she wanted to cry.

Eleanor put her arm around Eunice to console her, “Sister, it’s not your fault, and you shouldn’t bla yourself. From what I know, being transgender isn’t related to upbringing; it’s a natural gender identity. Maybe Jennifer never identified with her assigned gender from birth, which is why she resolutely went for the surgery.”

A mont later, Eleanor continued, “When is Jennifer having her surgery?”

“Friday,” Eunice replied.

“Then I’ll co back with you on Thursday and go with Jennifer into the operating room. Listen to , you don’t want to leave yourself any regrets, and neither should you leave any for your child.”

So regrets, once left behind, cannot be nded for a lifeti.

Upon hearing this, Eunice looked up at Eleanor, “Eleanor, would you really co with to the hospital?”

“Mm.” Eleanor nodded slightly.

Eunice swallowed, “But are you not embarrassed by this at all?”

Eleanor burst out laughing, “What era are we in? Besides, Jennifer isn’t the only transgender person. You are just too imrsed in your own perspective! Co on, let’s book our tickets now and leave on Thursday!”

Encouraged by Eleanor’s words, Eunice felt much better.

Frica.

Linta Tribe.

Viola had been in the laboratory for two whole days, eating and drinking all within the lab.

Over these two days, she had slept less than three hours in total.

However, despite not sleeping for two days, Viola’s spirit was surprisingly good; her handso face showed no signs of fatigue. As she pushed open the door, she saw Terrence kneeling on durians.

Afraid his boss would be angry.

Terrence dared not slack off, except for normal als and bathroom breaks, he was kneeling on the durian, and even when he slept, it was just a nap.

Seeing Terrence, Viola was taken aback, “Are you really kneeling on durians?”

She was sowhat surprised.

It was just a casual comnt, but Terrence took it seriously.

Terrence raised his head to look at Viola, “Boss, I’ve been kneeling for two days.”

“You deserve it.” Viola slightly raised her eyebrows.

After all, he nearly blew up his own fiancée.

Terrence could not refute that and then asked, “So, can I stand up now, boss?”

“Get up,” Viola said.

Terrence propped up one leg and stood up from the floor, possibly due to the long period of sitting causing insufficient blood supply to his legs, which made him black out and fall forward.

Seeing this, Viola quickly stepped forward to support him, “Are you okay?”

“I’m fine. Just that my legs are very painful and my head is dizzy. It feels like I can’t stand up,” Terrence leaned heavily on Viola, sounding weak.

Seeing him like this, Viola beca a bit nervous.

He had a chronic leg issue. Could it be acting up?

With this thought, Viola imdiately grabbed his wrist, focused, and checked his pulse.

Fortunately.

It wasn’t because of the old ailnt.

His body was perfectly normal, and the near fall must have been just due to the lack of blood supply to his legs.

Viola sighed in relief, let go of his hand, and raised her eyebrows, “You’re too weak; you need to strengthen yourself.”

“Weak?” Terrence was stung by her words and imdiately stood up straight.

How could he possibly be weak?

Seeing his reaction, Viola instantly realized he was faking it and narrowed her eyes slightly, “Yes, Mr. Lentz, you are extrely, utterly weak!”
