Wu Damming gasped for breath, still pondering what to do, when suddenly a cry for help ca from the tranquil cornfield.

"Save , help , save ."

It was Xu Jing’s voice!

"Mr. Xu is still alive."

Zhang Xiaoshan beca agitated at this point.

Being alive was good.

"Give the gun."

Zhang Xiaoshan snatched the shotgun from Wu Biao’s hands and dove into the cornfield.

"Hey, are you trying to get yourself killed?" Wu Biao yelled anxiously, wanting to follow.

But Wu Damming grabbed Wu Biao’s arm.

"If he wants to get himself killed, then let him be, why the rush?"

Wu Biao looked at Wu Damming and then back at the cornfield, hesitated for a mont, and then stood silently in his spot.

Deep inside the cornfield.

Xu Jing was tightly coiled by the Red Training Snake King, its massive strength nearly breaking her bones, leaving her unable to breathe.

After emitting a single cry for help, she could no longer speak.

At this mont, she slled the scent of death.

"Am I going to die?"

"Dad, Mom..."

"Zhang Xiaoshan."

She thought of her dearly beloved family and Zhang Xiaoshan.

"Hiss hiss hiss"

The Red Training Snake King’s enormous, gloomy blue eyes looked greedily at Xu Jing.

It slled a familiar scent on her body.

It opened its huge maw, ready to bite down on Xu Jing.

"It’s over."

Xu Jing’s heart sunk to despair, and she closed her eyes, giving in to hopelessness.

But at this critical mont.

"Bang."

A gunshot resounded, shattering the silence.

Zhang Xiaoshan, who had rushed into the cornfield, tily fired the gun.

One shot hit the Red Training Snake King.

After consuming a significant amount of Gold and Silver Fruit, the Red Training Snake King had undergone a transformation, with its scales becoming as hard as iron.

A dozen or so steel pellets failed to penetrate its body.

They rely made it tremble slightly and deviate off course.

However, although the shot did not cause any substantial damage to the Red Training Snake King, it successfully attracted its attention.

"It’s, it’s the bad guy."

Xu Jing also suddenly woke up and looked towards the source of the gunshot.

At that mont, mist and rain blurred the view.

But she still saw Zhang Xiaoshan standing in the cornfield, drenched, holding onto a shotgun.

"Wuu wuu wuu..."

Upon seeing Zhang Xiaoshan, she felt as if she had found her rock, and could no longer contain her grievances and fear, bursting into heart-wrenching sobs.

"Don’t be afraid, I’m here to save you."

Zhang Xiaoshan raised the shotgun again, aiming for the Red Training Snake King’s eyes.

"Don’t worry about , run! You’ll die."

Xu Jing cried out in concern.

"Hiss hiss hiss..."

The Red Training Snake King looked at Zhang Xiaoshan.

Those gloomy blue eyes were full of hatred and excitent.

It was obvious, it recognized Zhang Xiaoshan.

Its enemy.

"Bang."

At that mont, Zhang Xiaoshan pulled the trigger.

Once again, a dozen or so steel pellets were fired.

Unfortunately, this old-fashioned shotgun had no accuracy at long range.

All the pellets hit the Red Training Snake King’s body, failing to strike its eyes, aning they did no substantial damage.

"Hiss hiss hiss..."

The Red Training Snake King was completely enraged.

It threw Xu Jing aside and slithered its enormous body towards Zhang Xiaoshan.

Zhang Xiaoshan clenched his teeth seeing this.

"Beast, co at ."

He did not dodge or avoid, but actively confronted it.

Swinging the shotgun in his hands like a club, he violently smashed it towards the Red Training Snake King.
