It took a while for Stanley to realize what had happened. Even after Sheila moved away, he stood there, awed by the situation, unable to make a peep.

Sheila smiled sheepishly as well.

"You..." Stanley tried to form words but couldn’t. He was caught off guard quite a bit. Which was doubly surprising since he had his future sight active at all tis.

The fact that he hadn’t seen it coming was... weird.

"We need to leave," Sheila said. "The others are in danger."

She walked up to him and grabbed him, pulling him outside, past the corpses. As soon as she was outside, she could feel the hot air rising.

She looked down and saw Gray standing above the lava, unhurt.

"Don’t lean on the railing, it might be too hot," Stanley quickly said with a worried voice.

"It’s not too hot," Sheila said, surprised that it was not. "The lava is supposed to be much hotter than this. Gray must be blocking most of the heat then."

Stanley walked over to the side and grabbed the two guns he had brought along. These were the guns that could even blast through thick doors.

"Here," Stanley said, giving both of them to her. "Protect yourself with these. They should have so charge still, and be careful on the recoil. It will be hard for you to control."

"Okay..." Sheila said slowly. "But what about you?"

"I need to get my sword," Stanley said. "It’s in my room."

Sheila nodded. "Let’s go get your—"

Stanley sensed danger just then. No future sight, just danger. He quickly grabbed her, pulling her away from the railing into the ground, knowing sothing was going to happen.

Sothing invisible went past them just then, not even making a sound. The only thing they saw was a small visual blur, like hot air warping light.

The very next mont, a chunk of the railing fell apart, cut cleanly as though a sharp knife cutting through paper.

Stanley looked for the source but could not see it at all.

Sheila quickly got up, pointing one of the guns around, looking all over for a person too, but she found nothing.

Stanley kept his future sight active at all tis. ’Where did the attack co from?’ he thought. Because the attack was invisible, it was impossible for him to tell where it had co from.

Another attack ca, and he pulled Sheila closer. They dodged the attack before it ca for them.

"Interesting," a young voice spoke.

Suddenly, Sheila’s body began to glow all of a sudden. Stanley hadn’t seen it with his future sight at all, and neither did he sense the danger. But still, he knew sothing bad was about to happen.

He pulled her away to make sure sothing didn’t happen to her, but no matter where he took her, the silver light enveloped her completely.

"Sheila!" he shouted in horror, worrying what was happening to her. And the very next mont, she was gone.

Sheila disappeared from his arms completely.

"No!" he shouted. "Sheila!"

"I’m here," Sheila’s voice ca almost imdiately, once again from all around him.

"Sheila? Where did you go?" Stanley asked.

"I’m right by you," Sheila said. "You just can’t see . Don’t worry, I’m safe. Whoever it is, their power can’t touch , Stanley. I’m immune to all danger."

Stanley didn’t know what she was talking about.

At that very mont, Stanley sensed danger for himself. He did not see it through his future sight once again. Only sensed the danger.

Whoever the attacker was, they had kept themselves hiding from him well.

Stanley quickly got out of the way before the danger could even co for him. He moved away while talking to Sheila at the sa ti.

"Grab , I need to leave here," he said.

"Don’t worry about and just go," Sheila said. "I’ll be fine."

"Are you sure?"

"Just go, stupid!"

Stanley nodded and ran. He dashed along the side of the pathway, running as fast as he could to make his way to his room. He finally arrived in front of his room and slamd his door open in a single hit.

The door crumpled like it was made of cardboard, and Stanley arrived inside to see 5 people, 2 of which were fighting over themselves for his sword.

Stanley dashed in, catching the people off-guard as he killed them all before they even knew it. His hands were bloody by this point, but it did not matter.

As the dead n fell, his white sword remained hovering in the air, weightless.

Stanley sensed danger once again and quickly grabbed the sword before turning around to slash at whatever was incoming. He felt sothing odd happen when he hit whatever was coming toward him.

A shockwave erupted from where his sword hit the thing, strong enough to knock him into the wall of his room, including everything all around him. His bed and furniture fractured, and slamd around into the wall as well.

Stanley quickly got on his feet. He wasn’t as hurt at all and was ready for the fight again.

"What the fuck?" an exclamation sounded in the distance. This voice, Stanley could pinpoint sowhat. It ca from around the door.

He sensed another attack coming and blocked it once again. Once again, the explosion slamd him back into the wall.

Stanley quickly gathered himself, looking in a certain direction. He had seen so sort of color in there when the attack was launched.

It was as though the attacker couldn’t remain hidden while launching the attack.

"Your sword," a manly voice ca from the man. "It is very weird."

Stanley said nothing. This was a sword that Stella had made by giving up 40 years of her life, including all her mories, experiences, and relationships.

This was not a simple sword at all. It was sothing else.

"Is that sword indestructible?" the man asked.

Stanley suddenly saw his sword glow with silver light, the sa thing that had happened to Sheila. Then, he saw the future.

His sword would disappear from his hand.
