Kyle and Sebastian's Elemental stopped. Moments later, Kyle and his Elemental distorted as they traveled to the Main Dimension.

"We got a problem!" Sebastian transmitted as soon as Kyle and his Elemental reappeared inside Sebastian's Demon Car.

Kyle transformed his Elemental into a hammer and put it on his back so that he could see the two of them. As he looked at the two of them, he noticed how stressed and terrified they were. Something must have happened!

"Our relays suddenly died, but they left one last message before they dissolved!" Star Genesis transmitted with urgency.

"Message?! Died?!" Kyle repeated, looking at his own relay.

His own relay was still there. It hadn't changed in any way. He also hadn't received any messages.

"My relay's still there," Kyle answered. "How did you even receive any messages? You are inside the Demon Car. You can't get messages!"

"But we did!" Sebastian answered. "It must have been some kind of last resort or something. Maybe the message wasn't sent directly to us but spread across the entire world. Forget it! We have more important things to worry about!"

"The last message said that we should flee to the Elemental Dimension and that we should not return!" Sebastian transmitted.

Kyle's heart shivered. If Sebastian was right with his hypothesis, there was no way that such a wave of foreign Energy would stay hidden. The Overseer must have noticed!

This could expose the group, which was obviously a major risk! If Swamp Dragon, as the new owner of the relay network, had sent such a message, it must mean that the message was worth the risk of exposure.

'But...' Kyle thought as he looked at Sebastian and Star Genesis. 'How are they supposed to get to the Elemental Dimension?'

"You have to get Star Genesis to the Elemental Dimension!" Sebastian transmitted with urgency.

Kyle looked at Star Genesis, who just looked at him with uncertainty and anxiety.

"I don't know how," Kyle answered.

"Just try something!" Sebastian shouted. "I can get to the Elemental Dimension myself, but she can't!"

"You can go there?" Kyle asked in shock.

"My existence is already based on Spacetime Lightning! As long as I distort my existence, you might be able to pull me to the Elemental Dimension with you!"

"Distort your existence?!" Kyle repeated in horror. "You will fucking die if you do that! Your mind will stop being a mind!"

"I have to try!" Sebastian shouted. "My Spirit is still there! If I do it right, you might be able to restart it!"

Sebastian pointed at Star Genesis. "But you have to help her first! If I leave, the Demon Car will die. She has to escape first!"

Kyle looked at Star Genesis with worry as he tried to think of a way to get her to the Elemental Dimension.

"Can you think of a way?" Star Genesis asked quietly.

Kyle violently ruffled his hair before he pulled Star Genesis into his Elemental. "I don't know! I'll try!" he transmitted.

He ordered the Elemental to go to the Elemental Dimension. The Elemental began to distort, but Star Genesis remained solid.

Kyle stopped his Elemental and gritted his teeth.

"This will hurt," he transmitted.

Then, Kyle dumped his Energy into his Elemental, vastly increasing its power. The powerful Elements attacked Star Genesis' body, turning parts of her into fodder for the Elemental.

Star Genesis just gritted her teeth as she felt her life ending.

Kyle started the process again.

Star Genesis distorted with the Elemental, but only the parts the Elemental had consumed. Her mind and Center did not distort.

'Fuck!' Kyle thought. 'Her Spirit doesn't work with Elemental Energy! If I replace her mind with Elemental Energies, she will die! I can't pull her Center or mind to the Elemental Dimension! I can take everything else, but not the two most important things!'

Kyle stopped the process, and Star Genesis recovered.

Star Genesis looked at him with worry as millions of thoughts rushed through Kyle's head.

'She has to fuse with an Elemental, but that takes years! If we could break her anchors, chains, and the barrier, we could probably forcefully fuse her, but there's no way to break all of these things in a short time! Does she even have an Imposing Law with 50% quality and quantity?'

Kyle activated his Domain in an effort to distort reality enough to get Star Genesis to the Elemental Dimension.

Unfortunately, no matter how much he tried, it was impossible to move Star Genesis' Center and mind.

Kyle experimented with the forces of Karmic Luck. Some Immortals could influence others via Karmic Luck. Maybe he could pull her to the Elemental Dimension as well?

He desperately tried to manipulate the forces of Karmic Luck, but no matter what he did, Star Genesis remained unaffected.

'I don't even know how I can affect Karmic Luck! How can I affect Karmic Luck?! How can I influence reality by influencing Karmic Luck?!'

Kyle's mind was going wild as he tried to find a solution. His Energy went through countless permutations, weaving in and out of reality.

Moments later, the Karmic Line between him and Star Genesis warped. Kyle noticed, and his mind focused even more.

The Karmic Line trembled with more intensity as Kyle's instincts started to send warning signals to him. They were telling him that he was not supposed to do that.

He ignored them and continued! Fuck his instincts! He had to save Star Genesis!

New concepts appeared inside Kyle's mind as he became better at manipulating Karmic Luck.

Seconds passed, and every second felt like an eternity. They were wasting valuable time!

Kyle's eyes reddened with blood as his mind reached an unprecedented level of focus.

The Karmic Line shook and distorted so much that it looked like thousands of tiny strands instead of one solid line.

At that moment, Kyle started the process of ascending to the Elemental Dimension. Simultaneously, he also held onto Star Genesis' Karmic Line.

And then...

Star Genesis started to distort as well.

The three of them watched in shock and hope. It was working!

Kyle pulled more.

BANG!

Kyle's eyes widened as he felt like he was trying to pull a human through a tiny hole in a solid wall.

The countless tiny threats prising the Karmic Line became taut, and then...

CRRRRK!

They tore.

The Karmic Line had snapped!

At that moment, a violent burst of red appeared in Kyle's vision, and an unfathomable pain assaulted him.

CRK!

Kyle's Core cracked and began leaking Energy. Parts of his brain exploded, and his Spirit shook.

"Kyle! Kyle!" Sebastian shouted and transmitted as Kyle fell backward.

Star Genesis looked at Kyle's lifeless body in horror.

Fortunately, three seconds later, Kyle regained his consciousness. His mind had mostly recovered, but the tear inside his Core was still present.

Kyle focused on healing his Core, but for some reason, he couldn't. It was like his Core was supposed to have that tear!

Luckily, the tear was truly tiny. It wouldn't impact his powers.

A new Karmic Connection between him and Star Genesis had already formed. There were emotions between them, which led to the creation of a new one.

However, Kyle put all of this into the back of his mind. Finding a way to save Star Genesis was more important!

"Enough!" Star Genesis shouted, her voice shaking.

Kyle and Sebastian looked at her in silence.

"Enough," she repeated quietly.

"It's okay."
