"Do you recognize this person?" a humanoid Demon asked Manny's head.

"No! I don't recognize him! I've never seen this person in my life! Please! I'm honest!" Manny shouted in desperation. Thousands of years of torture had pletely broken his inplete mind. He genuinely didn't recognize the person in front of him. He had never seen this guy in his life!

"Do you remember Black Sin Hammer 37?" the Demon asked.

"I don't know!" Manny shouted. "You've been asking so much about him that I don't know! I don't even know who I am anymore! I don't know if I have remembered him before you've taken me or if the tortures have created new memories! I don't know! Please! I don't know!"

The Demon looked at Manny coldly.

"Do you remember Front-Facing Hammerlord 955?" the Demon asked.

"Yes!" Manny shouted. "I gave him orders from time to time! He was a tall guy! He had red hair! He regularly sent me..."

Manny kept talking about Front-Facing Hammerlord 955 without end, sharing as much information as he could.

"Do you remember Granite Striker 444?" the Demon asked.

"Yes! He used a spear! His Affinities were Metal and Earth! The last time I saw him, he was an Initial Spirit Lord! I went over his data several times! He had black hair! He was on the smaller side! He was..."

Manny kept talking about Granite Striker 444.

"Is this Granite Striker 444?" the Demon asked, holding the unconscious body out.

"His aura is similar, but not identical. He might have changed, but most likely not that much. There's a small chance that's Granite Striker 444, but I don't think that's him! Another difference is..."

Once more, Manny kept talking and talking.

"You don't know this person, correct?" the Demon asked, once more gesturing to the unconscious body.

"No!" Manny shouted.

The Demon looked at the unconscious body.

"Good," he mented, his voice a tiny bit colder than usual.

Moments later, roots replaced Energy Pathways as the unconscious man's head was processed. Now, the owner of the head found themselves in the same situation as Manny.

Then, the unconscious head opened its eyes.

When it looked around, it saw Manny and narrowed its eyes.

It didn't say anything.

"Not trying to end your life?" the Demon asked.

"Can I?" the head asked.

Moments later, poison coursed through the man's head, causing unprecedented pain.

Yet, the man only gritted his teeth.

About a minute later, the stream of poison stopped, and the humanoid Demon looked at the man. "This will be the remainder of your life. There's nothing you can do. You can only determine how long your remaining life is. The more information you give us, the sooner your life will end."

"I figured," the man mented. "Alright, go ahead. What do you want to know?"

"Are you Black Sin Hammer 37?" the Demon asked.

"Yes and no," the head answered. "My actual title is Fierce Breaker, but I've assumed the mantle of Black Sin Hammer 37. The original owner of the title is called Kyle. He also goes by Meteor Hammer, Descending Mountain, and Azure et. He was also called Bang for a while."

The poison didn't return, despite Fierce Breaker's casual tone.

"Do you recognize the person in front of you?" the Demon asked, pointing at Manny.

"Psychosis Manifestation. He used to be a member of the Array of Stars with us. With us, I mean our little group. Kyle, Star Genesis, Manny, Swamp Dragon, and me. Sebastian joined later," Fierce Breaker said.

"You remember me!" Manny shouted in excitement.

Fierce Breaker raised an eyebrow. "Shouldn't I?"

"Tell me who I am!" Manny shouted in desperation and exhilaration. "I want to know who I am! Please, tell- AAAAAHHHH!"

Poison entered Manny's head. The humanoid Demon wasn't interested in Manny's outbursts.

"Which members of this group are still alive?" the humanoid Demon asked.

"Since I can see Manny, that means most likely all of them," Fierce Breaker answered casually.

"What's the status of every member?" the Demon asked.

"Are you not..." Fierce Breaker started talking, but after just three words, poison flooded into his head, making it difficult to talk. "Are y-you not... hmph... interested in something else?" he said with difficulty.

The humanoid Demon wasn't used to interrogating someone like Fierce Breaker. Every person it had ever interrogated had done one or more of several things.

Beg.

Bargain.

Swear an impossible oath.

Try to blow up.

Yet, Fierce Breaker hadn't done anything like that. In fact, he seemed unusually calm.

The poison stopped. "Speak," the humanoid Demon said.

"Are you not surprised that I'm not even trying to keep this information hidden?" Fierce Breaker asked.

The humanoid Demon didn't say anything.

"Well, the thing is, I'm in a different situation than the other people you have interrogated," Fierce Breaker said. "pared to them, I have a way to kill myself."

"And how would that work?" the humanoid Demon asked calmly.

Fierce Breaker glanced at the screaming Manny. "His unique powers," he said. "As far as I can see, he has wiped his memories. Not surprising, considering the things he has shown us."

"Inside my Soul Space is something called a relay, and it has a kill-switch. You might have isolated the Energy in my Soul Space, but the Energy in my Soul Space can still move around. I just need to tell it to do something specific, and in the next moment, I'm a former head."

The humanoid Demon blinked slowly. "Can you prove your claim?"

"Not possible, but that's also not important," Fierce Breaker said. "I'm divulging important information anyway. Whether or not I can kill myself doesn't change anything since I'm going to tell you everything you want to know anyway."

"Know this: I know that I am dead. I know that my life is over. I knew that my life was over as soon as I took on Kyle's position. I could end it right now, but I'm not doing it. Isn't that surprising? Since I know that I'm already dead, why am I stabbing my panions in the back before I die?"

"That's because I'm not," Fierce Breaker said. "I'm still working towards our shared goal. I'm just doing it... differently."

"You know that we are from the Supreme World, right?" Fierce Breaker asked.

"I do," the Demon answered evenly.

"Do you also know that Sebastian and Kyle have been members of the Cult of Final Fate?" Fierce Breaker asked.

The humanoid Demon's eyes narrowed. "No."

"Do you know about Death?" Fierce Breaker asked.

"I know that Death can help us ascend," the humanoid Demon answered.

"Ascend?!" Fierce Breaker asked with a laugh. "Ascend to the afterlife, maybe! Listen, you guys are probably trying to find a way out, right? You're probably attacking the World Wall with unending aggression, right? Maybe, you can even create some tears. Hey, if you just keep going, maybe it will break."

Fierce Breaker snorted. "Idiots! Think for one second! The Primary Worlds are INSIDE the Supreme World! Every time the Primary World receives damage, it uses Energy to repair its walls, but the Energy inside the Primary World isn't decreasing, is it? It always stays the same. Ever wonder how that works?"

"It's because the world is using the Supreme World's Energy! You think you can outpete the Supreme World in Energy? Even if you had a billion Peak Ascendants, you wouldn't e close to outpeting the Supreme World!"

"Your Overseer could bee a Demigod, and they still wouldn't have the power to break it! What you're attacking is the Energy container of Ayuvar! You're not attacking the actual wall between this world and the Supreme World. You know that the Cult wants to destroy the entire Cosmos, right? Well, then why are they not simply attacking the worlds from outside?"

"Why do they have to do it from the inside?"

The humanoid Demon narrowed his eyes.

Fierce Breaker just looked at him. "I'm going to give you what you want, and you will wish that I hadn't."

"I'm going to tell you how you can prehend the Minor Law of Death."
