In the boundless darkness, the young man slowly opened his eyes, a hint of confusion in his gaze, as if breaking free from a long slumber.

He found himself lying on a charred wasteland, the sky displaying a bizarre dark red, with no sun or stars, only an unsettling dim light enveloping this world.

Where the hell am I?

Lynn struggled to stand up, his entire body emitting a series of cracking sounds as if his bones were snapping.

At this mont, he felt as if he had been run over by a giant wheel, using almost all his strength just to lean weakly against a nearby red rock.

In his last mory, he was drawn by an invisible force and sucked into the towering stone monunt of the Helius Mausoleum.

Now he looked up, the desolate land stretching as far as the eye could see.

The ground appeared cracked from dryness, resembling gaping jaws, with wisps of black energy floating between heaven and earth, the entire world perated with eerie silence.

This seed to be a world devoid of life, Lynn could feel no vitality whatsoever.

"Cough, cough..."

Moreover, he discovered that the air was suffused with thin strands of pale red mist, each breath like a burning pain, making even breathing a tornt.

"Hmm?"

"What sound is that?"

Lynn looked in the direction from which the faint moans were coming, and then froze.

Just about ten ters away, an exceptionally beautiful woman dressed in light adventure attire lay sideways on the scorched earth, her adventure clothing already torn, revealing a blood-stained white shirt underneath, her moonlight-like platinum blonde hair scattered disorderly on the ground, forming a stark contrast with the pitch-black earth.

It was clearly the Great Imperial Princess Hillena.

So... she was also transported to the Otherworld together?

Lynn thought, frowning.

After all, this world was utterly crazy, making one feel extrely uncomfortable both physically and ntally.

Lynn rubbed his head, which seed like it was about to explode, feeling extrely troubled in the current situation because this world hadn’t been ntioned in the original work, leaving him at a loss.

Just as he was considering counterasures, Hillena suddenly let out a soft moan not far away.

What if this person has so powerful Sealed Object that could get us out of this damn place?

Under Lynn’s watchful gaze, Hillena slowly opened her eyes.

Besides the confusion similar to the young man’s earlier, her gaze carried an additional hint of clarity.

When their eyes t, a trace of astonishnt flickered in Hillena’s eyes, and she too struggled to sit up.

But due to the lack of a rock to lean against, she could only kneel sitting on the ground, then frown and scan her surroundings, visible surprise rising in her eyes.

"Cough, cough..." Lynn slowly spoke, "I don’t know where this is either, if you..."

"Who are you?"

To Lynn’s surprise, Hillena didn’t even listen to him, just tilted her head, her tone full of confusion.

This unintended action added a touch of playfulness and cuteness to her, completely opposite to her usual style.

Lynn’s expression instantly froze, countless possibilities flashing through his mind in a second.

Amnesia?

He quickly reached a conclusion.

For instance, whether Hillena was pretending to have amnesia, and what her purpose was for doing so.

But after so thought, Lynn felt that it didn’t seem like she was pretending.

Because after being transported from the Helius Mausoleum to this world, it was highly likely that they had fallen directly from the sky, which was incredibly brutal.

The impact could have been shockingly powerful, so losing mory wasn’t surprising.

Or perhaps it was due to the mausoleum’s special nature.

After all, given the Authority held by that existence, "stripping" the mories of a Transcendent of Hillena’s level would be easy.

Previous explorers also suffered from "Shell Syndro" for this reason.

However, perhaps due to Hillena’s own unique nature, she wasn’t completely stripped of mind and consciousness, only losing her mory.

Of course, all this was still speculation and couldn’t be verified.

Lynn thought silently.

"Do we know each other?"

Seeing Lynn not answer her, Hillena continued to ask softly.

She seed sowhat agitated, frowning as she tried hard to recall her lost mories, but soon she clutched her head, exclaiming, "It hurts..."

Lynn found himself unaccustod to this side of her, which was cute and different from her usual aloof and dignified deanor.

However, as his gaze swept over Hillena’s face, he was astonished to find a dense red mist swirling around her body.

Lynn frowned.

He realized that Hillena’s condition seed even worse than his own, such as her highly uneven breathing and incessant coughing.

Although he felt a burning pain with each breath, at least he could breathe smoothly.

Moreover, Lynn noticed that his body was adapting to this world at a visible speed.

He suspected it had sothing to do with his faith in the End, which might also be why he hadn’t lost his mory, but Hillena did.

Of course, this was all just speculation without substantial evidence.

At present, the most important thing was to find out where they were and how to leave.

With this in mind, Lynn looked around.

This was a desert shrouded in black mist, like a ghost realm, with jagged stone ridges protruding abruptly from the cracked ground.

He suddenly felt that he and Hillena were sowhat lucky.
