Lynn whispered to himself.

The floor of the entire hall was covered in bone-white tiles, each engraved with tiny runes, emanating a faint bluish glow under the light of the never-extinguishing torches.

In the center stood a broken altar, on which rested a set of scales shackled by iron chains.

The scene looked very bizarre.

Why scales?

Everyone felt an imnse sense of confusion for a mont.

"Don’t go up there!"

Seeing Lina about to ascend the hall, Lynn shouted at once.

Yet it was a step too late; Lina had already set one foot onto the platform, causing the Divine reliefs on the twelve stone pillars to suddenly "co to life," ghostly green flas igniting in their hollow eye sockets.

The chains on the altar began to move on their own, striking towards the crowd like giant serpents!

At this mont, Hayden paid no mind to the mad Yorick, swinging his great sword towards the chains instead.

But the chains instantly bound Hayden’s sword, dragging him towards the altar.

Soon, Hayden was kneeling below the altar, seeming to be in great pain, "The chain is extracting my mories..."

For a mont, everyone’s pupils contracted tightly.

A blurry vision appeared above the altar—young Hayden hiding behind a curtain, watching as his uncle poured poison into his father’s mouth, followed by his mother suffering cruel abuse. It was a scene he could never co to terms with. Later, he beca an incredibly powerful Transcendent and at the age of twenty-five, slaughtered all twenty-six mbers of his uncle’s family across three generations.

"You killed twenty-six mbers of your grandfather’s family, including innocent infants. Do you feel remorse?"

An unusual voice exploded in everyone’s ears.

Kneeling on the ground, Hayden couldn’t stop trembling, with the scene of his parents’ tragic deaths as a child and the massacre of his uncle’s family flashing continuously through his mind.

He admitted, it felt satisfying to kill his enemy, but sotis when he recalled those won who kneeled begging for rcy, he indeed felt a pang of guilt.

However, he had always told himself that he did nothing wrong; back then, his uncle wiped out his whole family, and since he survived by hiding in a secret room, revenge was only natural.

But now, with this mory laid out for judgnt, Hayden’s psychological defenses instantly crumbled.

"Choose how to handle it according to your sins."

The voice exploded again.

Above the altar, one side of the scales suddenly tilted downwards.

The images of won and children dying tragically kept echoing in Hayden’s mind. Suddenly, he felt heavily burdened by guilt, and involuntarily he raised his sword, intending to end his own life to atone for his sins.

"Hayden, think of your deceased father and your mother who died in disgrace!"

Lynn shouted loudly.

Instantly, Hayden felt a shock, and the longsword in his hand fell to the ground with a clang.

"You are indeed guilty, but not to the extent of death."

Lynn continued.

Hearing this, it seed like Hayden ca to a realization, as he lifted his sword and cut off one of his arms.

And at the mont he severed his arm, the scales that had tilted suddenly returned to balance, and the chain that had bound Hayden also abruptly loosened.

Seizing this opportunity, Lynn instantly flashed forward and quickly reached the front of the altar.

At that mont, he kicked Hayden out, sending him right in front of Lina and the others.

Lina and the others imdiately got the ssage and tended to Hayden’s wound, while Hillena generously took out a bottle of Moonlight Original Liquid, a top-notch healing Holy dicine.

"Co and judge if you can!"

Lynn gazed at the altar, his eyes filled with tranquility.

To everyone’s surprise, the chains did not bind Lynn as before.

However, at the sa ti, so of Lynn’s mory fragnts also appeared above the altar.

They were nothing more than people who had died directly or indirectly at his hands, starting from his first kill of the Demon Clan during his assessnt at the Saint Laurent Royal Transcendent Academy, to his slaughter on the Demon Clan battlefield, to killing Eunice, indirectly killing Fourth Prince Joshua...

Every segnt of mory clearly showed that every act of killing by Lynn was not out of personal desire.

His hands were stained with blood, yet he always upheld the purest belief.

"Is that it?" Lynn sneered, reaching out and brushing those mory fragnts, which imdiately dissipated like bubbles, "Judge ..."

The next mont, under the gaze of everyone, he suddenly pressed his palm fiercely on the center of the altar, causing the entire hall to shake violently. One end of the scales shot up high, the other was completely empty, not even containing the weight of a speck of dust.

"You dare?"

Before the words fell, the altar suddenly burst out with dazzling golden light, and the chains imdiately lted and evaporated. The Divine reliefs on the twelve stone pillars humd simultaneously.

Hillena unconsciously held her breath, as Lynn stood tall like a spear in the blinding golden light.

At this mont, she finally understood how frighteningly pure this man’s soul was—every choice he made could withstand the judgnt of any Divine, even the Laws of this ancient tomb couldn’t budge him an inch.

After the incident at the hall, everyone’s trust in Lynn reached its peak.

During this process, Hillena’s gaze often involuntarily followed Lynn’s figure. Whenever that tall and upright silhouette stopped, she could foresee the mont he would raise his hand to warn, regretting once more why he wasn’t under her command.

But she also knew that Lynn would never betray Ivyst and join her regardless of whatever conditions she offered.

Yet, Lynn didn’t care about these things at all; his brow was furrowed tightly the entire ti.

For a very simple reason.

It was too smooth.

From the mont they stepped into the tomb, every chanism’s position and every trap’s trigger thod matched the description in the original text exactly.

It was as if soone had ticulously arranged a script, and they were rely performing predetermined roles.

This led to a lingering shadow in Lynn’s heart that couldn’t be dispelled.

Finally, the group arrived at the core area of the tomb, a towering black stele standing at the center of a circular plaza, above which a radiant orb like a rising sun hung quietly, illuminating the earth like sunlight.

"A Divine... a complete Divine!" Hillena exclaid with a trembling voice, "As long as it’s sealed and contained, we would have successfully conquered the entire tomb!"

These words spurred cheers from the team, all believing that the dawn of victory was just ahead.

"Be careful!"

Yet, the next second, accompanied by Lynn’s shout, the long-dormant Divine Power Tide suddenly surged several hundred tis in intensity, engulfing everyone.

Lina was still with a jubilant expression, and Hayden attempted to raise his sword with his remaining left arm to resist. anwhile, other mbers of the Grave Digger Team instantly lost their flesh upon contacting this force, leaving only skeletons to fall to the ground.

"No!"

Hillena watched helplessly, her beautiful eyes turning red, shouting hysterically.

In the nick of ti, she instinctively used her Sealed Object—a bell, barely managing to protect Lynn.

Lynn’s gaze glanced over at the bell on her wrist, where an unusual rune was flickering, seemingly resonating with so power within the tomb.

The next mont, she and Lynn both turned into particles of light, losing their physical forms, and were then drawn into the towering black stele as if pulled by an invisible hand.

In the instant of completely losing form, Lynn finally saw the truth within the orb—it was not a Divine at all, but a giant black eye, which revealed a playful smile across space and ti, directly at him.
