Clent, a senior detective, is a second-tier Transcendent Warrior, and he follows the orthodox Knight route.

Originally, he should have been exerting his power in the kingdom’s army, but after violating military regulations, he was forced to retire. Later, he joined the Seles Night Watch Brigade to atone, and once the term ended, he returned to the capital’s police headquarters.

As a second-tier Transcendent Knight nearing the third tier, Clent is a seasoned veteran who has faced various formidable foes and has extensive combat experience.

But he had never encountered an opponent like Ronan before.

This young man, not yet twenty, rely raised his hand, and Clent along with his elite subordinates were crushed to the point they couldn’t lift their heads!

Clent had no doubt that if Ronan so much as extended a pinky finger, he could take Clent’s life.

"Are you planning to go against the kingdom?"

The senior detective squeezed out words through clenched teeth, his face turning a deep purplish-red.

Powerless to resist, he could only hope that his status would make Ronan wary.

"The kingdom?"

Ronan laughed, "Who do you think you are, to represent the kingdom?"

"Enough."

He said calmly, "I have nothing to say to small fry like you. Go back and find soone of significance to speak to . I’ll be here waiting."

The next mont, Ronan waved his hand to withdraw the Spiritual Pressure.

Clent and his team felt as if they received a great pardon, with several officers struggling to get up from the ground, their faces pale as paper.

Though they still held weapons in their hands, they lacked the courage to pull the trigger.

The disparity in strength was too vast!

Clent’s eye twitched a few tis, and he said in a deep voice, "Let’s go."

Staying here any longer would only invite humiliation. Ronan’s suggestion was actually the best choice, as the current situation was beyond what soone of his "minor" status could handle.

"Leave the arrest warrant."

Ronan sneered, "This is the first arrest warrant I’ve ever received; it holds great sentintal value."

Clent truly didn’t want to give it.

Because this arrest warrant was pri evidence of Ronan being frad, he could easily deduce the reason and motive behind Ronan’s request.

However, Clent had no choice.

He could only curse his superior, who had assigned him this task, while placing the arrest warrant on the table.

Ronan watched as the group of officers left the classroom dejectedly.

What had just happened surprised him a bit, but it wasn’t entirely unexpected.

Ronan had long been psychologically prepared for an opponent’s provocation.

He never intended to flee!

Though the world had entered the era of the industrial revolution, the power of the mysterious side remained strong.

It still served as the cornerstone for suppressing the nation’s fate.

If it had been an ordinary person facing Ronan’s troubles, or a minor noble, or a lower-tier Transcendent, they would be in a hopeless situation.

The opponent wouldn’t even need to step forward; political clout alone could easily crush him.

And no one would cry injustice even if he died.

But as a high-tier Transcendent, the situation was entirely different for him!

Ronan didn’t have to wait long, about half an hour later, when an elderly man with white hair and beard pushed the classroom door open and walked in.

This old man was tall and robust, dressed in a white uniform, with a rugged appearance, thick eyebrows, and a broad nose, striding in like a lion inspecting his territory.

Ronan’s eyes brightened.

Since arriving in this world, this white-haired elder was the most imposing figure he had encountered.

Moreover, the elder’s presence was like a blazing fla, and though intangible, it weighed down upon Ronan the mont he stepped into the classroom.

The temperature in the room suddenly spiked, as if even the air was set to ignite!

"I am Gustav Rein."

The two locked eyes, and the white-haired elder said in a deep voice, "You should have heard my na, Detective Ronan."

"Of course."

Ronan stood and bowed to the elder, "Good morning, Dean."

Gustav Rein—Dean of the Kingdom’s Higher Police Academy, Garrison Brigadier of the capital, and Earl of the Rein family!

The Rein family is one of the oldest in Invia, with unquestionably strong power and influence.

As a trainee, Ronan knew of this prestigious dean, though the latter usually didn’t handle the academy’s daily affairs, so it wasn’t until now that Ronan saw him in person.

Ronan originally thought he would next face a high-tier Transcendent elite from the police headquarters, not expecting Clent to invite this illustrious figure instead.

But upon reflection, it was undoubtedly a wise choice.

Because Gustav Rein’s identity, reputation, and power were enough to resolve the major trouble that was Ronan.

Of course, this was only Clent’s thought.

"I just beca aware of this matter."

Gustav Rein’s lion-like eyes fixed on Ronan, his gaze cold and ruthless: "Since you’ve violated the laws of the kingdom, you must abide by the rules. You may defend yourself in court, but you can’t combat it with force!"

His presence intensified, his voice like a lion’s roar filled with boundless authority.

Ronan sensed an all-encompassing threat from the elder, yet he showed no fear, instead stepping forward towards the high-tier Transcendent authority.

Boom!

An invisible storm erupted in the classroom, tearing nearby desks and chairs into splinters.

The entire building shook violently.

The unprecedented pressure also stimulated Ronan’s spiritual awareness. The barrier confining his Soul Power suddenly shattered.

In a flash, Ronan’s Spiritual Energy broke through the Sixth Ring!

His spiritual power surged, instinctively pushing back against the pressure from Gustav Rein.

Gustav Rein’s pupils contracted sharply, as if he had discovered sothing extraordinary.

He thought he had thoroughly understood Ronan’s capabilities, but he had completely underestimated the latter’s strength, feeling extrely troubled.

Their powers reached a standoff.

After a mont, Gustav Rein suddenly said, "Let’s have a proper talk."

Realizing that Ronan’s power exceeded expectations, the lion-like brigadier quickly revised his initial strategy.

He didn’t want a life-and-death battle with Ronan here.

Ronan nodded, "Alright."

As he spoke, he withdrew his Spiritual Energy.

The tense atmosphere in the classroom dissipated accordingly, and except for the scattered debris, it was as if nothing had occurred.

However, this was obviously not an ideal place for a conversation. Gustav Rein invited Ronan to his dean’s office.

And instructed his curvy, short-skirted female secretary to prepare a cup of coffee for Ronan.

"What on earth is going on here?"

Gustav Rein knew little of the situation, having previously not given it much thought, but now...

The lion-like brigadier now needed to respect a strong individual not much weaker than himself!
