Rudolf Herbert ca suddenly and left just as decisively.
After dropping a harsh word, he and two attendants, who were evidently Transcendents, strode away.
Ronan did not think the other side was rely trying to intimidate him; it seed like that night when he clashed with Shaquinn Piel, he stirred up a giant hornet’s nest.
And just as Rudolf Herbert left, Alfred appeared in haste.
Seeing Ronan still in the classroom, he couldn’t help but breathe a sigh of relief, but his expression quickly turned anxious: "Ronan, I have to go back to Starckton, you should leave here too!"
The handso blond was quite apologetic: "Sorry, it’s my fault for dragging you into this."
Ronan shook his head: "This has nothing to do with you, I’m not planning to leave Seles."
"You can’t!"
Alfred beca even more anxious: "I just heard that Shaquinn Piel got Rudolf Herbert involved, he’s probably going to make trouble for you. My family called back early this morning, urging to return to Starckton imdiately."
"I won’t be able to co to Seles anymore in the future!"
He was undoubtedly deeply shaken, looking utterly dejected and dispirited.
"I just t Rudolf Herbert myself."
Ronan smiled, patting him on the shoulder, and said, "Forget it, I know, you go back first."
"Hurry and go."
Alfred thought Ronan had listened, and felt relieved: "When you get back to Lande, if you run into more trouble, you can co to Starckton to find . Worst case, we can change your identity and hide for a few years."
The Pitman family wasn’t strong in the Capital, but in Starckton, they were considered powerful.
Protecting Ronan wasn’t an issue.
After all, the conflict between Ronan and Shaquinn Piel only affected the latter’s pride, with no injuries involved.
Alfred gave a few more reminders, even stuffing a cash check into Ronan’s hands.
Then he hurried off.
No choice, people from the Pitman family were waiting outside to "escort" him back to Starckton.
Alfred now had no say in his own movents; being able to co to warn Ronan was already the result of his utmost efforts.
Watching his departing figure, Ronan felt both amused and helpless, holding the check.
With Shaquinn Piel and Rudolf Herbert involved, one a son of a Northland Earl, the other a son of a Capital Marquis, their combination was indeed intimidating.
Yet Ronan felt no fear.
His Spiritual Energy had now recovered to the peak level of the Five Rings, and it wouldn’t take long to break through to the Sixth Ring, perhaps with just one opportunity for promotion.
Though Ronan couldn’t accurately judge what level the Spiritual Energy of Five Rings corresponded to in this world’s Transcendent tier, crushing most Transcendents would be no problem.
Even if he encountered a formidable foe he couldn’t overco, they couldn’t stop him if he decided to escape.
Accumulated strength from multiple worlds gave Ronan this confidence and assurance!
If he were to flee at the appearance of re threats, he might as well crash into a wall and end it.
Thus Ronan didn’t leave, and went to the academy as usual the next day.
However, the news about Ronan had evidently spread through the academy, making him a pariah, with no one daring to approach him, everyone treating him with cautious distance.
So even looked at Ronan with pity, or with schadenfreude!
Ronan didn’t mind at all, nor did he disrupt his usual routine.
Waiting for his opponents to make a move.
And indeed, Rudolf Herbert was not all talk; three days after the Marquis’s son went to the police academy, a team of fully ard officers suddenly stord into the classroom where Ronan was.
Leading them was a stern-faced middle-aged detective, who asked in a deep voice: "Who is Ronan Raymond?"
The students in class all turned to look at Ronan in unison.
Even the teacher on the podium put away the teaching materials.
This is the Kingdom of Invia’s Higher Police Academy, a part of the police system; even if a student committed a cri, under normal circumstances, they wouldn’t break into the classroom to arrest soone publicly.
Unless the offender caused big trouble!
The academy teachers obviously didn’t want to invite trouble, especially for a postgraduate.
Under everyone’s watchful eyes, Ronan stood up unhurriedly: "I am Ronan Raymond, is there sothing you need?"
The middle-aged detective didn’t answer directly but waved his hand: "Non-related personnel, please leave!"
Once he spoke, all the students quickly dispersed and left.
Everyone knew very well that this ti Ronan was done for!
Once the non-related personnel left, the middle-aged detective said deeply: "I am Senior Detective Clent from Seles Central Police Bureau. You are suspected of a major murder case, please co with us to the Central Police Bureau to assist our investigation!"
While speaking, he showed Ronan an arrest warrant.
Major murder case?
Ronan couldn’t help but laugh—Rudolf Herbert’s influence was truly imnse!
To know that this was the Capital of the Kingdom of Invia, and the other side could actually mobilize personnel from the Central Police Bureau to pin a murder suspect label on him, it would be impossible without substantial power.
Without doubt, the intention was to put Ronan to death!
Even with no evidence, fabricating so charges would be easy enough.
They wouldn’t even need a trial, they could directly end him in prison.
Ronan said calmly: "I see, in that case, I refuse to be arrested."
Refuse, refuse arrest?
Senior Detective Clent was experienced and had prepared various asures beforehand, yet he didn’t anticipate Ronan’s reaction at all!
He was amused, and without more words, directly ordered: "Take him down!"
Two officers imdiately stepped forward to apprehend Ronan.
The other four drew their pistols on Ronan, keeping him in their sights.
The six officers Clent brought were no ordinary mbers; the two who moved to capture him were from the Central Police Bureau’s Special Operations Unit, highly skilled Transcendent Warriors.
The weapons used by the four ard officers were specially designed to target Transcendents.
As for Senior Detective Clent, he coldly stared at Ronan with his blue-grey eyes, ready to act at any mont.
He too was a Transcendent, trained by the Night Watch Brigade!
However, as soon as the officers started their move, Ronan suddenly raised his right hand, and gently pressed down.
The six officers imdiately felt an invisible force pressing down on them, instantly exceeding their tolerance, forcing them to their knees involuntarily.
Twelve knees hit the floor with a heavy thud.
The sound was spine-chilling!
As for the leader, Clent, though he didn’t kneel, he felt like he was plunged into an icy abyss, cold all over.
This Senior Detective felt as if a sharp blade was poised over the back of his head, ready to pierce his skull at any mont.
Who is this person!
Detective Clent let out a desperate cry in his heart, realizing he made a colossal mistake.
