"Be careful."

Seeing Qi Li get up to leave, Su Xuan cautioned her.

But Qi Li was still injured. Judging by the ti that had passed, there was no way she could have fully recovered today. It was a mystery why Su Xuan let her go.

"Mm."

Qi Li glanced back at Su Xuan before leaving the private room.

As soon as she stepped out, a deep hatred surfaced on her pretty face. She quickened her pace, heading toward the room where the fight was taking place.

In that room, the lead senior brother was terrified. What on earth are these two?

The combat power of the two warriors in red armor was astonishing, unlike anything he had ever encountered. All six of them were attacking, yet they couldn’t inflict any real damage. The red armor was incredibly tough; a sword strike would only produce a shower of sparks without leaving a scratch.

He couldn’t understand how such overpowering beings could exist in the world below the mountain! This was clearly not sothing the Floating Cloud Sect could possess!

"Even if we can’t kill them, we can wear them out!" the lead senior brother muttered to himself again.

Then, Qi Li suddenly appeared in the doorway.

She didn’t say a word to the enemy. She simply stood there with a cold expression, raised her hand, and began pressing the room’s air conditioner control panel.

Temperature 1.

Temperature 1.

Temperature 1.

She kept raising the room’s temperature.

Lycar’s air conditioning was extrely powerful, so a slight adjustnt had an imdiate effect. The temperature in the room instantly felt like a blazing inferno.

Lu Dongshan, who had been standing guard in the room, nodded to Qi Li. He then made a strange move, taking out a gas mask and covering his nose and mouth.

Qi Li stepped back out of the room and stood watching from the doorway.

Suddenly, sothing bizarre happened.

The air in the room, which had been clear monts before, began to fill with tufts of white mist. The balloons that had not yet burst rapidly expanded in the high temperature and popped one after another, making the white mist in the room even thicker.

"What’s happening?"

"I can’t seem to control my body!"

"They’re using poison..."

Amid the cries of alarm, people began to collapse to the floor.

Seeing this, Lu Dongshan smiled. He stopped standing idly by and walked toward the lead senior brother and the others.

"Damn it!"

The lead senior brother was not spared. He suddenly felt his body go weak as his limbs rapidly went numb. He was utterly bewildered, unable to fathom what kind of poison this was or how it was being administered.

All he could do was quickly swallow an antidote pill and try to retreat from the room.

THUD!

But as soon as he stepped out, his legs gave way, and he fell to his knees directly in front of Qi Li.

Qi Li pulled out a dagger and pointed it at him.

The lead senior brother’s lips were barely working. "Don’t kill , please!" he stamred.

Showing not a shred of rcy, Qi Li plunged the dagger down.

At the sa ti, Lu Dongshan tossed the others, who had fainted in the mist, out of the room. He walked over to Qi Li, glanced at the lead senior brother lying in a pool of blood, and said, "Brother Su’s thod really works!"

Qi Li nodded. "Yes, it’s effective."

The white mist in the room wasn’t actually poison. It was an anesthetic gas provided by Zhong Huilan.

This gas had a peculiar property: it was harmless to humans below 25 degrees Celsius, but once the temperature rose above 25 degrees, it transford. The lead senior brother and his n had been unknowingly surrounded by the anesthetic gas. Once the temperature rose, they had no chance to escape in ti, and all of them fell victim to it.

And since the anesthetic gas wasn’t poison, taking an antidote pill was completely useless.

A mont later, the sound of hurried footsteps filled the hall as several waiters rushed over to carry away those who had been anesthetized. These weren’t real waiters; they were Zhong Huilan’s people.

"Alright, shall we call the dinner to a close?"

In another private room, Su Xuan turned off the television and addressed Buffett and the others with a smile.

"Can’t we eat a little longer?"

Buffett was in high spirits. Seeing the white mist rise and the fight conclude, he was clearly left wanting more. "How about another show just like that one?" he asked.

Su Xuan chuckled. "Perhaps next ti. It’s not easy to find suitable actors, and those ones are already quite tired."

"Well... alright then!"

Buffett could only wipe his mouth with a napkin, reluctantly bringing the dinner to an end.

Su Xuan didn’t see them off personally. He had Liu Ming escort Buffett and the others out while he went straight to his office at Lycar.

***

"Mr. Buffett, how was the dinner?"

"What are your thoughts on Rabbit Tech’s digital currency?"

"Will their stock price soar because of your dinner with them?"

As soon as Buffett stepped outside the hotel, he was sward by a group of reporters. Cara flashes popped like a dense web of lightning, illuminating him brightly.

Buffett, who rarely bothered with reporters, said just three words: "Didn’t eat enough."

Then he ducked into his luxury car and left with his entourage.

The reporters were dumbfounded. The al had lasted for quite a while; how could he not have eaten enough? Could it be that he isn’t optimistic about Rabbit Tech’s digital currency?

"President Wang, is your company broke?"

"Why didn’t you let Mr. Buffett eat his fill?"

"Was this dinner a failure?"

The reporters turned their attention to Wang Junming of Rabbit Tech.

Wang Junming hadn’t expected Buffett to say that. He quickly pointed at Lycar and explained, "Let tell you, the food at Lycar is just too delicious, and the drinks are too good! Mr. Buffett ate an entire roast pig by himself, drank three bottles of baijiu, and downed three bowls of ginseng soup. On top of that, Lycar even put on a performance for entertainnt. Mr. Buffett couldn’t get enough and kept asking to stay a bit longer!"

"Is that true?"

"Is Lycar really that amazing?"

"I have to go to Lycar tomorrow and experience it for myself!"

The reporters’ eyes lit up.

At the sa ti, footage of the exchange began to spread online, and everyone who saw it felt a sudden urge to visit Lycar.

Wang Junming never imagined that after he spent a fortune on this dinner, the biggest beneficiary would turn out to be Lycar.

He was still very happy, however. The banquet had been a great success, and Buffett’s three words—"Didn’t eat enough"—were more than enough to create a stir. His company was certain to reap huge benefits.

"Work overti tonight," Wang Junming whispered to the assistant by his side. "Help carve out fifty million in shares from the company to give to Mr. Su as a token of thanks."

Fifty million was no small sum for him, but he truly wanted to thank Su Xuan.

"Yes, sir!" the assistant nodded hastily.

***

"How are they?"

Su Xuan entered his office and glanced at the people lying on the floor. Zhong Huilan’s people had moved everyone who was still unconscious from the anesthetic into his office.

"Only this one is still sowhat conscious," Qi Li said, glancing at the lead senior brother.

She had stabbed him only to vent her hatred; she hadn’t intended to kill him.

Su Xuan crouched down and said to the lead senior brother, "Where is your leader hiding?"

He wanted to find that mysterious man in the black cloak.
