The debate between Professor Liu Mingjiang and Luo Peng, Su Beilin, Tong Yihang continued until nearly six o’clock in the afternoon.

Everyone thought that the eting might last for about an hour.

But to Ding Yue’s surprise, it lasted the entire afternoon. Wen Ruohan stayed in the eting room with Principal Ding, watching Professor Liu from Qinghua University and Luo Peng, Tong Yihang debate over the intricacies of precision engineering.

Wen Ruohan almost fell asleep several tis.

Seeing the intense discussion between the two sides without any resolution, and noting the ti, Ding Yue abruptly suggested to everyone in the eting room: "It’s six o’clock, shall we go eat first?"

Upon hearing Principal Ding’s words, Luo Peng did not continue the debate, but slightly nodded his head, indicating acceptance of Principal Ding’s arrangent.

Because Luo Peng and Tong Yihang had received Ding Yue’s [Lithography Manufacturing Process Technology] and after a period of learning, they had advanced insights on advanced lithography manufacturing theory.

However, to Professor Liu and his team, these insights could not be substantiated with the rigorous research attitude.

The issue was that Luo Peng and the others have not yet presented concrete theoretical research achievents, like a professional paper.

Therefore, this eting involved continuous disagreent between the two sides.

"Okay then."

After a round of intense debate with Luo Peng and others, Professor Liu was parched and weary. Upon hearing that Principal Ding suggested to temporarily conclude the eting, he agreed.

"Wen Ruohan, please take Professor Liu and others to the second cafeteria for dinner." Ding Yue instructed his secretary, Wen Ruohan.

"Okay, Principal Ding, Professor Liu, please follow ." After responding, Wen Ruohan led Professor Liu Mingjiang and the mbers of the visiting team from the chanical Departnt of Qinghua University out of the conference room.

anwhile, Ding Yue kept Luo Peng and Tong Yihang behind.

"You have argued with Professor Liu for an entire afternoon and failed to convince him with your theories. Naturally, Professor Liu wouldn’t trust us."

Ding Yue looked at Luo Peng and spoke seriously.

"Principal Ding, you’re right. But our current theory on the precision engineering of 3nm lithographic machines has not yet been systemized, although we have produced so important research data,"

Luo Peng said helplessly.

Ding Yue understood Luo Peng’s aning: they had made so breakthroughs in their theory of producing a lithography machine capable of etching 3nm chips, but they had not fully materialized it yet.

And this is precisely why Professor Liu thinks that their so-called "breakthrough" lacks a solid technical foundation.

This was the main point of contention between the two parties.

"Clearly, what you brought to the table, didn’t convince Professor Liu."

Ding Yue shrugged his shoulders and said with a smile.

"Sigh."

Luo Peng could only sigh in resignation.

Concerning the research on advanced lithography machines, Luo Peng knew it would be a long process, but the team responsible for precision engineering had made a good start.

But as Principal Ding pointed out, this good start had yet to win Professor Liu’s approval.

Regarding Liu Mingjiang, Luo Peng knew him well as an expert in the chanical field who valued rigorous scientific research highly.

But in respect to the advanced lithography machine precision engineering field, Luo Peng felt that Professor Liu’s thinking might be sowhat outdated.

Seeing Luo Peng a bit disheartened, Ding Yue patted him on the shoulder and suggested: "So, let’s invite Professor Liu to try and overco the contentious points with us. Won’t it be great if we make the breakthrough?"

This solution proposed by Ding Yue enlightened Luo Peng.

Indeed, it was a good direction to take.

In fact, Ding Yue was quite confident because after giving Luo Peng and Tong Yihang the knowledge of [Lithography Manufacturing Process Technology], it was only a matter of ti before they made a breakthrough in the field of precision engineering for advanced lithography machines.

"Good, I’ll talk to Professor Liu again when we get back!" Luo Peng nodded determinedly.

Then Ding Yue looked around at the elite mbers of his chanical Departnt at Mist City Arts and Science University and said with a confident smile on his face: "Everyone, keep up the good work. I believe in you."

Seeing Principal Ding say this, Yihang and other students were full of confidence.

"Alright, let’s go eat!"

After leaving the eting room, Ding Yue went to the second cafeteria for dinner with everyone.

In the cafeteria, it was while Ding Yue was eating that he joined the table of Professor Liu Mingjiang.

"Principal Ding, do you have sothing you want to say?" Seeing Ding Yue approaching, Liu Mingjiang asked.

"I just wanted to ask, after this eting, what are your views on the chanical Departnt of our Mist City Arts and Science University?"

Ding Yue asked with a smile.

"As you’ve seen, we’ve debated with Luo Peng and your students all afternoon without any results."

Professor Liu Mingjiang was straightforward.

Most academics are blunt in their speech.

Ding Yue nodded slightly, saying: "Indeed, I watched you debate all afternoon. I may not understand the professional knowledge as well as you, but I know there must be so stumbling block. That must be the point of contention, right?"
