Shencheng Stadium.

The spectator stand is pretty crowded, taking up about seventy percent of the total stand capacity. Most of them are locals from Shencheng, along with university students from various universities across the country, as well as so ordinary sports enthusiasts.

Ding Yue and Wen Ruohan were two inconspicuous spectators among the crowd, sitting in a pretty decent spot.

Xiong Yang, the director of the Physical Education Departnt of Mist City Arts and Science University, was the overall person in charge for this team participating in the gas. He brought three teachers from the school’s sports academy as coaches and several students to participate in the National University Sports Gas.

Besides the athletes participating in several other events, the basketball team of Mist City Arts and Science University was also competing this ti. However, their matches were held in the gym next door, not here.

The majority of the events taking place in this stadium were track and field.

What Ding Yue was looking forward to the most, was the 50 ters and 100 ters sprints where Yang Chen would be participating. These two short distance races are typically known as the "Flying Man Battle".

In particular, the hundred feet sprint battle in the 100 ters race.

Ding Yue still rembers the "Bolt" flyer from his previous life on Earth.

After the opening ceremony of the National University Sports Gas, the qualifying events for various track and field competitions were about to start.

"Who do you guys think will win the championships for the 50 ter and 100-ter sprints?"

"Isn’t it obvious? It’s got to be Zou Jun from Jiangnan Sports University. The guy is simply a freak!"

"Right, I’ve heard that Zou Jun can run within ten seconds three, it’s amazing."

"But isn’t it certain, Yanjing Sports University’s Wang Xiaobo is also strong, and there is Lu Xiao from East Sport University."

"I am aware of Lu Xiao from East Sport University. He’s definitely fast, but his best is only 10.31 seconds. If we compare him to Zou Jun, he’s still a tad weaker."

Sitting in the stands, Ding Yue overheard a few people around him discussing who would take ho the championships for the 50 and 100 ter races.

Everyone ntioned Zou Jun from Jiangnan Sports University or students from Yanjing Sports University or East Sport University. But there was no ntion of Yang Chen from Mist City Arts and Science University, as if he didn’t exist.

Indeed.

Among the well-known sports universities, Jiangnan Sports University, Yanjing Sports University, and Northeast Sports University have more professional athletes.

"I think Yang Chen from Mist City Arts and Science University also has a chance." Ding Yue playfully interjected this statent during the discussion.

Wen Ruohan sitting next to him couldn’t help but look stunned.

Then, nearby people curiously asked, "Who is this Yang Chen from Mist City Arts and Science University?"

"I know of Mist City Arts and Science University."

"I’ve heard of it too, seems to be a private university."

Ding Yue smiled faintly. No one around recognized him because he had changed his hairstyle and outfit. In fact, he does not often appear in public or stream, so people only know that the principal of Mist City Arts and Science University is a rich second-generation nad Ding Yue.

A handso face is often easily confused.

The 50-ter preliminary race was about to begin.

Ding Yue already saw his student, Yang Chen, from Mist City Arts and Science University doing his final preparations on the track.

Today, Yang Chen was wearing a red sport vest, bearing the number 2105.

Due to a large number of participants in the 50 and 100-ter sprints, preliminaries and finals are usually held.

Under normal circumstances, the preliminaries and finals are completed quickly, and then the top three winners are decided.

While the 50-ter preliminaries were being prepared, high jump and long jump competitions were also taking place on the other side.

Bang!

With the referee’s starting gun.

The first group of the 50-ter preliminaries began on the track.

Ding Yue dared not blink, afraid to miss the short few seconds of the "Flying Man Battle".

In the case of the 50-ter event, running within 6 seconds is already considered very strong.

The current record for the 50 ters event in Sumr Country is 5.74 seconds.

"Wow, Principal Ding, they run so fast!" Wen Ruohan saw that the athletes started almost instantaneously, and quickly reached the 50-ter finish line.

If she did not see it wrong, it seed like Yang Chen from Mist City Arts and Science University ca in second in the preliminary race?

Since the 50-ter races are so short, the preliminary races for the several groups were completed swiftly.

Yang Chen successfully got through to the finals.

The finals track had eight very strong athletes, including Zou Jun from Jiangnan Sports University, as well as the strong players from Yanjing Sports Uiversity and East Sport University.

"I feel like the 50-ter race has beco a bit suspenseful!"

Judging from earlier, Ding Yue felt that Yang Chen could probably place fourth or fifth among the eight contestants.

The 50-ter race is basically a split-second explosion, which ans that Yang Chen’s explosive power might indeed be slightly insufficient, or it could be that players like Zou Jun were just too strong.

However, if the 50-ter race didn’t provide an opportunity, it doesn’t an the 100-ter race wouldn’t provide a chance either.

Although both are sprint events, they do hold differences.

Because in the case of the 100 ters, the burst sprint ti is longer; unlike the 50 ters where once you explode, you’ve already reached the finish line.

"Principal Ding, does Yang Chen still have a chance?" Wen Ruohan seed optimistic and confident.

The main reason Ding Yue was so worried was because if Yang Chen could win the gold dal for the 50-ter race, then he could receive the reward for the "University Honor".

Ding Yue did not want to leave the National University Sports Gas without any rewards.

If they cannot even get first place, then there might be no point in placing emphasis on the developnt of the sports academy at Mist City Arts and Science University.

Bang!

The start gun of the 50-ter final rang, and the eight strongest competitors, like arrows off their strings, charged towards the finish line!

"Damn it."

When Ding Yue saw the halfway point, he noticed there were no signs of Yang Chen possibly coming in first. Zou Jun of Jiangnan Sports University was leading the pack, with Lu Xiao from the sa university slightly behind.

In the second half of the race, Yang Chen was visibly attempting to place in the rankings.

In a re five to six seconds, the 50-ter final was over.

The order was out.

Without a doubt, that guy Zou Jun from Jiangnan Sports University won first place with a ti of 5.92 seconds.

This result among university students nationwide was pretty impressive, even eclipsing so professional athletes.

It seems like this Zou Jun will definitely pursue a professional athletic career; it’s highly likely he’ll participate in championships and the like.

Lu Xiao ca second.

Yang Chen from Mist City Arts and Science University actually clinched a ranking in the end, coming third, beating fourth place by a re 0.01 seconds.

From his perspective in the stands, Ding Yue was just about convinced Yang Chen and the fourth-place runner crossed the finish line together.

Surprisingly, Yang Chen lucked out a bit and secured a third-place bronze dal.

Reasonably speaking,

The bronze dal at the National University Sports Gas isn’t exactly prestigious.

"Ah, what a pity, he was so close to winning the championship," Wen Ruohan expressed regretfully.

"Huh? You call this close?" Ding Yue wondered if Wen Ruohan misunderstood the aning of close.

In this 50-ter final, Yang Chen’s result was still quite a distance off Zou Jun’s.

"Principal Ding, isn’t this considered close?"

Wen Ruohan blinked her eyes, questioning him.

As far as Wen Ruohan was concerned, Yang Chen really did co close to Zou Jun and Lu Xiao at the finish line.

"Zou Jun’s ti is 5.92 seconds, Lu Xiao’s is 5.97 seconds, and Yang Chen’s is 6.08 seconds. That’s not a small difference."

Ding Yue shook his head as he spoke.

If you were referring to the 0.01 difference between Yang Chen and the fourth-place runner, Ding Yue might agree.

But in terms of speed, Zou Jun, Lu Xiao, and Yang Chen were genuinely quick. If Ding Yue were to run this 50-ter race, he’d probably clock in at 6.7 seconds?

In truth, 6.7 seconds is considered fast for an average person. 6.3 seconds is average for athletes, while breaking 6.1 seconds implies an excellent opportunity to dal.

As expected, Yang Chen did win a dal with 6.08 seconds, albeit a bronze one!

In such a competition, Ding Yue was completely disinterested in third-place bronze dals and second-place silver dals.

If I’m going for it, it has to be the championship, the gold dal!

"Let’s watch the 100-ter race next, the Hundred Feet Sprinting Battle. I feel like Yang Chen still has a chance," Ding Yue shook his head while sighing.

"But Principal Ding, if he couldn’t beat them in 50 ters, how could he in 100 ters?" Wen Ruohan pushed her black-frad glasses up, questioning with confusion.

"Not being able to outrun them in 50 ters doesn’t an he can’t in 100 ters; the two aren’t the sa, there’s a chance," Ding Yue explained to Wen Ruohan.

Since many competitors participated in both the 50-ter and 100-ter races, there was a hiatus between the scheduled races.

After all, no one could sustain running 100 ters imdiately after the 50-ter race!

Ding!

"Congratulations to the Host for completing an "A-level University Honor" - National University Sports Gas Gold dal 1!"

"Congratulations to the Host for receiving the "A-level University Honor" reward: Reputation points 20, [Level 1 University Treasure Box] 1."

Hmm?

Suddenly, as Yang Chen and the others were being presented their 50-ter race dals, a system prompt resounded in Ding Yue’s mind.

The prompt notified Ding Yue of an "A-level University Honor" reward.

Twenty reputation points and a [Level 1 University Treasure Box].

Upon completing the "University Developnt Task - Honor", the system would provide a rating. The higher the rating, the richer the rewards.

An A-level University Honor was quite good, S-level University Honor was even better, of course.

There were also SS and SSS-level University Honors. Ding Yue wondered what equivalent honor or achievent was required to earn those ratings?

However,

Ding Yue was now wondering, where did this sudden A-level University Honor co from?

"How did I earn this A-level University Honor?" Ding Yue imdiately queried the system.

"Detected: Host’s student from the School of Physical Education at Mist City Arts and Science University, Liu Xiaojuan, won the championship in won’s swimming competition!"

Just then, Ding Yue’s cell phone chid. He took it out and saw a ssage from Xiong Yang, the Director of the Departnt of Physical Education.

Xiong Yang: Principal Ding, good news!!!

Ahem.

Ding Yue thought, this good news, I already know it, I’m even ready to open the box!
