When Ding Yue learned that the construction of Mist City Arts and Science University’s South Campus was nearing completion, to ensure better campus planning and not resort to last-minute solutions, Ding Yue decided to hold a eting to discuss which departnts and majors should move from the existing campus to the South Campus for teaching.
To be honest, Mist City Arts and Science University’s campus currently has over 200,000 students, making it sowhat "crowded." Ding Yue believes that accommodating tens of thousands of students on this campus would be ideal, ensuring the campus neither feels overcrowded nor deserted, with basic infrastructure achieving a perfect balance.
Continuing at this pace, the total number of students, including undergraduates, postgraduates, and doctoral candidates, at Mist City Arts and Science University will exceed 300,000. At that point, the infrastructure may likely beco overloaded.
Take the library for example.
Although Mist City Arts and Science University’s current campus has three libraries—one old library and two new large libraries—this still poses a trendous burden for 300,000 students.
The South Campus is also building two large libraries. Thus, transferring so students to the South Campus will effectively alleviate the load on these basic educational facilities.

Ding Yue officially convened Mist City Arts and Science University’s educational leaders, departnt directors, and deans from various schools in the No. 1 eting room of the Administration Building to discuss the matter.
"Hello, Principal Ding."
Upon seeing Principal Ding, the departnt directors and deans greeted him.
They are aware of the eting’s agenda.
When Ding Yue instructed Secretary Wen Ruohan to notify them, he had Wen Ruohan inform them.

Ding Yue glanced around the eting room, seeing that all the necessary attendees, including his well-known partners Huang Youjie and Xu Bin, were present, as they are the Director of Administration and the Director of Logistics, respectively.
"Everyone is here, so before we start the eting, let first briefly outline the situation."
Seated at his principal eting position, Ding Yue began, "Director Chen Ping is not here; you all know that he’s leading the team constructing the new Cairo City in the Pharaoh Kingdom, so I’ll personally brief you on so matters. Our Mist City Arts and Science University has been increasing enrollnt each year, leading to a growing student population. Over a year ago, the university leadership began planning and constructing the South Campus to consider the campus’s capacity. Now, after over a year, the South Campus construction is mostly complete, with so remaining work to be finished in the first half of this year. By the second half, after the new admissions in September, or rather before that, we need to decide which departnts and majors will relocate to the South Campus for daily teaching work."
After Ding Yue’s remarks, the deans in the eting room began discussing.
After all, this matter concerns each of them.
Over the years, everyone has grown accustod to this campus; who would willingly leave the current teaching environnt for an entirely new teaching area?
Even though the South Campus is not far from the current campus, just below University Town, people hesitate to leave their comfort zone once accustod to it.
"So today, let’s have a democratic discussion on the current teaching situation and future teaching planning, and let’s have a comprehensive discussion,"
Ding Yue said to the deans, "What are your opinions, everyone?"
"Principal Ding, I suggest that with our current campus, where teaching is quite established, we could consider keeping the traditional departnts and majors here while relocating the erging departnts and majors to the new campus. This would also provide erging departnts and majors with more expansive teaching space."
At this mont, one dean suggested.
