Alan looked happy. He took a deep breath to calm his mood, then looked down at the desk in front of him. A blue dragon egg about the size of a basin covered in scales sat in front of him. This was a dragons egg. Even if Alan was not good at magic, he could still feel the vigorous vitality in the blue egg.
I can actually have a dragon?!
Alan could not believe it and was excited once again. Dragons were above all others, the noblest creatures on the entire continent. If soone wanted to establish a nation, the first condition was to have a dragon knight with strength strong enough to rival several other powerhouses of the sa level. This was the power of a dragon knight.
There were many benefits that a giant dragon brought with it. They were the darlings of heaven, and their every move could make a country go crazy. Their habitat could produce a lot of expensive resources, with each different type of dragon bringing different resources with them, but there was no doubt that what they brought would be of the best quality.
For example, magic gemstone veins could grow in their habitat as well as several different rare and expensive minerals. These were the top treasures for magicians and knights. A dragon could also provide enough rare and advanced iron ore to create a variety of advanced equipnt and magical weapons. There could be enough to make a whole country prosperous and wealthy. The benefits were not limited to material gains either.
I do not know what dragon will be born, but no matter what it is, it will be a huge surprise!
Alan was excited since he would beco a dragon knight! It was incredible to think about. Just a few minutes ago, he thought he would be nothing but hot garbage or a hapless traverser of the world, but now his luck had changed!
How do you hatch an egg though? Alans mood dropped when he realized the problem.
The host only needs to drop his blood onto the egg, and after the contract is signed with the dragon, it will hatch, the Systems voice rang in his mind.
Thats it? Alan questioned with a smile.
Alan bit his finger and quickly dropped so blood onto the dragon egg. His blood landed on the shell and was instantly absorbed. Under his gaze, the whole egg began to shake slightly, then small cracks began to appear.
There was a crisp sound and a gap appeared on the egg. A small and exquisite dragon head erges from the gap.
Hoho!
The dragons slender and petite body exited the egg and when she saw Alan, she shouted in excitent. Alan could feel an unspeakable intimacy between himself and the dragon. She probably considers him as her father or sothing.
Alan did not know what to do next, as this was the first ti he had ever co into contact with a dragon. The little one stretched her body under the dim light. Her slender body and thin fleshy wings appeared weak under the light.
Allen picked up the little thing and the dragon did not resist. Instead, she allowed Alan to place her in his arms and rubbed against him.
She is so cute. Is this what young dragons look like? It is hard to imagine what this little one will look like when she grows up.
Allan teased the dragon while looking at her. Her body was glowing with a blue light.

Alan looked at the dragon curiously. The dragon ran back to the table and made a sound. She started to eat so of the eggshell until her stomach bulged, then returned to Alans arms. She then closes her eyes and falls asleep.
Hehe, little one. You will accompany to dominate the world from now on! Alan declared with a smile.
