Chapter 790 Smashing Valudo... Ineffective!

“It’s a success! We have brought back everyone!” Scott shouted excitedly, but Dio still concentrated fully on healing Banner. However, he suddenly felt a creeping danger approaching, but Dio couldn’t confirm the source of danger as countless explosion shook the ground and drowned everyone’s voice.

Thanos’ battleships bombarded the Avenger’s Mansion with so many missiles that it even broke the layer of defense that Tony and Shuri made! The Avengers were trapped in the explosion and couldn’t react to it!

The Avenger Base turned into ruin almost imdiately, and no one would think the Avengers would survive an attack of this scale! The flas spread, creating a huge ring of fire around the Avenger Base itself.

The whole New York city instantly plunged into chaos, and people began to panic as they saw the huge battleship in the sky that bombarded the Avenger Base without rcy. Countless people prayed for the Avenger’s safety as they knew that the Avenger was their only hope.

When the bombardnt stopped, the Avenger Base was already reduced to scrap. In ruins, Tony moved and checked on Steve, who was still holding his shield in his hand. “Great! If you lose that shield, I won’t make you another one!” Tony was relieved to see Steve was still alive.

“What the hell happened? What the hell is going on?” Steve asked in panic as he still lied on the ground. A banging sound was heard from the side, and Tony and Steve looked only to see Dio approaching them.

“We played with ti, and ti played with us, too! Just look outside, you will understand what I ant.” Dio said solemnly. Tony and Steve worked their way out of the ruin and saw Thanos’ huge battleship not too far away from them!

Steve and Tony imdiately realised what had just happened. Although he didn’t understand how Thanos could get here, the fact that the Tyrant was here wouldn’t change! Thanos was ready with his army, and the Avenger was caught in a sudden attack. It was clear that Thanos had the upper hand right now.

Dio then pulled Tony and Steve up together, and suddenly, green energy coursed throughout their bodies. Obviously, Tony and Steve didn’t notice such a thing, and only Dio knew what was happening to them. This energy ca from the Ti Stone, and Dio ought to find out where that Stone was right now.

“Have anyone found the Infinity Stones yet?” Dio asked Tony.

“Barton has it, apparently it falls next to him earlier. Nebula was also there, they are currently engaged in battle.” Tony said worriedly. Dio nodded, but he couldn’t brush off the uneasiness he felt. Because of that, Dio imdiately went inside the ruins to help Barton.

But not long after they went into the ruins, they saw Thor inside on the clearings with a familiar figure in front of him.

“Thanos!” Dio said as he saw Thanos sitting on his throne slightly above the ruins with his Golden Armor and Twinblade on the ground beside him.

“What is he doing?” Steve asked curiously.

“Nothing so far,” Thor said with a disgusted look on his face.

“We have to end him quickly this ti! We have to work together!” Tony said solemnly. Thor answered by raising both of his arms that wield Mjolnir and Stormbreaker in each hand. The power surged, and the sky was covered with a thunderstorm! A thunder struck Thor on the spot, and as the smoke disappeared, Thor’s suit was already replaced with his classic battle armor, completely hiding his fat belly!

That entrance was so srising that it was hard to believe that he was a fat alcohol addict just a mont ago! Dio himself had already pulled out his scythe, but he didn’t rush towards Thanos recklessly.

He looked around first to see if there were any traps around Thanos to make sure that he wouldn’t fall into so kind of tricks. After he carefully inspected that there were no traps, his eyes flickered as he began to think that he could end Thanos in an instant!

“Let’s go!” Dio said as he rushed towards Thanos. He summoned [The World] and imdiately stopped the ti! He succeeded, and there was no response from Thanos. Dio had thought about it, and his guess seed to be correct, as Thanos hasn’t figured out his power yet for now. Furthermore, Thanos didn’t have the Ti Stone to counter Dio’s ability, and thus there was no way Thanos could respond to his attack!

But as Dio ca closer to Thanos, Thanos raised his head and looked at Dio in the eyes.

“No way!” Dio said as he couldn’t believe that Thanos could still move despite the fact that the ti had stopped. But as Dio already propelled his body forward, he was wide open from any attack that Thanos might throw at him.

As expected, Thanos attacked Dio while he was still in the air! Dio ordered [The World] to pull him back to safety, but it was too late! Thanos’ twin blade cut Dio’s arm that held the scythe like it was nothing!

Dio grunted from pain, but he quickly took back his cut-off arm. Missing an arm wasn’t a problem for Dio as he had many ways to restore it. But the thing he ought to know right now was how Thanos could move even though Dio had already stopped the ti? Was it because Thanos ti-traveled there?

Or was it possible that Thanos already knew everything that might happen and found a way to counter Dio’s ability? But the fact still remained that Dio’s ti stop ability wouldn’t work on Thanos anymore.

But suddenly, Dio trembled as he looked behind and noticed that Steve and the others were moving and weren’t affected by the ti stop ability either!

“Dio, what are you doing? Are you okay?” Steve said as he rushed to Dio’s side.

“Why are you acting so reckless? It’s not like you at all!” Tony said as he frowned as he saw Dio had lost one arm. But Dio didn’t answer any of their questions as he looked over towards [The World] and saw that [The World] nodded towards him, aning that the ability was still active!

Dio even looked at his Ga Panel and noticed that his Hamon Energy was indeed still decreasing rapidly, which proved that everything wasn’t an illusion! But what was going on? Dio really couldn’t wrap his head around this whole situation at all!

But nevertheless, he felt like he was about to vomit, and thus he ceased the Ti Stop ability.
