Although the line of defence stood strong, the Wakanda army suffered heavy casualties. But now that Stephen has closed the portals and saved his sorcerers from the woman’s mind control, Dio could let loose. He wanted to force the war to an end as soon as possible!
Galaxy tore the space and brought Dio sothing that he had Thor stashed up sowhere safe. It was sothing that he had never used before, but now was the perfect ti to use it! Dio held an Ice Box in his hand and summoned his two Ice Stands, [White Album] and [Horus]!
As an artefact of the Frost Giant, it was difficult to use this Ice Box without having the blood of the frost giant. However, Dio had already researched the box before and was confident that he could carefully activate it! Furthermore, his Hamon Energy also guided him inside the extre cold that the box brought about as soon as the box was opened!
With the Ice Box, Dio’s Ice Stands got a trendous boost of power! Dio imdiately attached [White Album] on [Horus]’s body, creating a solid ice armour that covered its entire body, except for its eyes, where only the red eyes of Horus were seen.
This was a possibility that Dio had to think about before, and with [White Album]’s special affinity, he could really make it work! His stand was usually invisible to everyone, but since [White Album] created an Ice armour on his body that was created from condensed air, it had a physical appearance and therefore could be seen by anyone!
Although it was created by the [White Album]’s power, it wasn’t its real body, so even if the armour was destroyed, it wouldn’t damage [White Album] at all! So, to defeat [White Album], one had to defeat its user! Destroying the ice armour itself was a pointless thing to do! The armour itself was special as no matter how cold it seed from the outside, the inside of the armour had a regulated temperature that wouldn’t affect the user at all!
So, Dio wondered if it was possible to put [White Album] on sothing else, and that was when he thought of attaching the ice armour on [Horus]! Now, it was a success as [White Album] completely encased [Horus]’s body perfectly. This way, [Horus]’s power has increased significantly! But this was not all. Dio also put the Ice Box to the groove on [Horus]’s back, encasing [Horus] with more power.
“Walls of ice!” Horus said with its unpleasant high-pitched noise. Then a flow of blue energy circled around him, setting him on a beautiful ice pedestal. Suddenly, the entire Wakanda was completely encased by a huge ice wall! The energy barrier that was almost broken by the Chitauri’s attack was completely covered by the Ice Wall!
Dio had his reason for doing this. It was because Dio was troubled that he would accidentally hurt his allies if he went all out and broke the energy barrier by accident. Steve, who saw Dio in action, didn’t know what to say as he looked at the ice wall with wide eyes.
T’challa, too, was speechless as he saw the ice wall encased his Wakanda. In order to create a large-scale protective barrier to cover the entire Wakanda, he already spent so much manpower and material resources. In contrast, Dio just created another one on his own with such a little ti!
Regardless of T’challa’s complex feeling right now, Dio was excited to see that two of his Ice Stands were being powered by the Ice Box! He could freeze up the entire USA if he ever desired it, turn it into the north pole itself with the new Ice Power that he had on his grasp!
“Eternal Kingdom!” [Horus] said once again, this ti, the blue energy flew close to the ground outside of the barrier and imdiately turned the Chitauri Army into ice statues! It wasn’t all, as even the largest worm-like flying creature at the Chitauri’s disposal was also turned into an ice sculpture and fell to the ground!
The entire ground was covered with blue ice crystal and so many Chitauri sculptures so suddenly!
Dio then snapped his fingers, and imdiately all the ice sculptures on the ground were all smashed into powdered ice, drifting away with the wind!
The entire war was suspended as the beautiful scene from Dio’s power was unfolding for everyone to see. Steve and the others couldn’t help but realise how weak they were when upon witnessing how powerful Dio was. They began to wonder what Dio’s perspective on the word war itself was?
If he could eliminate all the enemies by himself, this couldn’t be classified as a war!
Without the portal to help them bypass the Energy Barrier, and now, with the addition of the ice wall, the enemy couldn’t make their way inside Wakanda. Not to ntion Dio’s power that completely annihilated their army, the Chitauri didn’t know what to do anymore!
The entire battlefield was quiet as the enemy had been annihilated, and the allies were too perplexed to make a sound!
Is it over? The thought began to pop out of everyone in Wakanda as they didn’t see any enemy left. But it was clear that it wasn’t over just yet! This was rely the first wave of attack from the Chitauri. They would surely be back for more until Thanos collected all the Infinity Stones!
The woman’s whereabouts were unknown as she surely hid sowhere in Wakanda. But Dio must remain vigilant as the woman could just use one of the spaceships that lied around sowhere.
After the entire field was quiet down, Scott couldn’t help himself anymore. He didn’t know the extent of Dio’s power and therefore felt blindsided that he needed to fight such a horrible war without any help earlier. “Why didn’t this guy do it from the beginning?” Scott said with a frown on his face.
This battle itself was a nightmare for Scott, so he felt like he needed to ask for compensation in exchange for his ti from Dio.
Steve just glanced at Scott without saying anything as he walked towards Dio with a smile on his face. “Can you at least let us know when you would bring out such a big move like that? I think everyone needs to prepare their heart for it!” Steve said jokingly.
“Well, maybe next ti!” Dio said with a smile on his face. He didn’t know what to say to Steve as there was no way he would blatantly tell everyone when he was about to attack. Steve imdiately shook his head as he felt grateful that Dio had ended the battle early. If Dio waited any longer, the damage on their side would keep on escalating!
At the sa ti, T’challa ran towards Dio’s side and patted Dio on the back. “I will surely send you a bill after this incident! Don’t you try to run away now!” T’challa said with excitent on his face. It was obviously a joke as T’challa was also grateful that the battle was over. The damage Wakanda suffered from this battle alone sure was massive, but it wasn’t sothing they couldn’t recover from!
