Chapter 610
“How did you do all this?” Pietro asked curiously, but Dio just smirked as he had no intention to explain himself to Pietro. Surely, Pietro was pissed by Dio’s attitude, but instead of returning to his chamber to play gas, he stuck around, observing what Dio wanted to do next curiously. He told himself that he wouldn’t fall for Dio’s trickery ever again!
Dio himself wasn’t keen on anyone knowing his ability to foresee 10 seconds into the future as it would diminish its effectivity. Furthermore, Quicksilver was one of those characters that could find loophole on those 10 seconds rule.
Dio felt satisfied for now as he at first thought that controlling [King Crimson] would be hard, but turns out it wasn’t that hard! Once he activated Ti Erasure, he could saw Pietro’s movent in pattern that made it easier to cut whatever future he wanted. It almost seed like the ability itself set Pietro’s movent on stones, unaffected by anything else.
This ability was so interesting as he could do various things to the enemy in the span of 10 seconds without any real intervention. “This is getting interesting!” Dio said excitedly to himself. But he imdiately checked the Hamon Energy Consumption that [King Crimson] used as Dio used its power and it was staggering!
First of all, Epitaph consud 10.000 Hamon Energy per second, aning that a full ten seconds of this ability consud up to 100.000 Hamon Energy! Second of all, there was a consumption rate after summoning the [King Crimson] itself! The third and the final one was the Ti Erasure ability! He might not use it yet, but he believed that it would cost more than Epitaph!
“So, how much did you figure out just now?” Dio asked Wanda curiously. Wanda told him what she just saw and Dio nodded as he imagined the scene on his own. He also recorded the activity just now, so he was eager to watch it later on his own.
Dio then pulled [Reaper’s Gaze] from a card and turned over to Wanda. He had removed the Power Gem and left it under the Dark Elf’s care. “Now, take my weapon and try to cut my hand off with it. Don’t worry, I will heal back like it was nothing.” Dio said as he extended his left hand while giving Wanda his [Reaper’s Gaze].
Wanda took [Reaper’s Gaze] hesitantly. “Are you sure we should be doing this?” Wanda asked hesitantly.
“I am sure!” Dio nodded as he sensed Wanda’s hesitation. “Don’t worry, nothing bad will happen! I am confident on my healing abilities!” Dio said confidently.
Wanda nodded his head and raised [Reaper’s Gaze] above her head, ready to cut Dio’s arm with it. When Dio saw that the blade was about to be swung down, he imdiately used [King Crimson]’s ability. Because he had no intention to dodge Wanda’s attack, the future that he could see from Epitaph was that when his arm was cut off.
But what if that future never happened?
Dio imdiately used Ti Erasure to delete the future when [Reaper’s Gaze] cut off his arm. The future blurred for a second and instead of cutting Dio’s arm, [Reaper’s Gaze] fell to the ground without even grazing his skin.
After seeing the scene, Dio was content and resud the ti flow to see what would happen. Would his arm still be cut or the Ti Erasure ability would violate the laws of physics once more? In reality, Wanda was so sure that she would cut Dio’s arm, but sothing strange happened as the scythe seed blurry and suddenly reappeared below Dio’s arm.
Wanda was startled by what happened. Even Quicksilver couldn’t believe the scene in front of him right now. At first he was startled that Wanda had what it took to swing the weapon with all her might at Dio, but the second was that Dio’s hand should have been cut! The result should have been either the blade broke and Dio’s hand was fine or Dio’s arm was cut off and the blade was fine!
There was a small possibility that both would be fine or both damaged, but that wasn’t the concern right now! The fact that the blade did nothing was what has concerned Pietro. It wasn’t normal at all because it was as if that the blade refuse to cut Dio’s skin.
He knew that he shouldn’t be worried about Dio as he knew that Dio regenerative ability was top notch! He knew that Dio was even capable of healing a person on a brink of death back to health! He even believed Dio could regenerate his head again, even if it was cut off completely from his body!
However, the fact right now was mind blowing! Dio moved his arm like nothing happened and Wanda was dumbfounded in front of him! But Wanda was embarrassed as she thought that Dio was definitely playing tricks on her and vowed that she would never help Dio if he wanted to try out his ability again!
She was extrely worried that sothing might go wrong, but it seed she was worried for nothing. But both Pietro and Wanda felt sothing was off. They even wondered that the test was a failure!
They thought that it was supposed to be sothing within the domain of life and death, but they were confused by what just happened.
Wanda was frowning as she didn’t know what to feel at the mont.
