Civic flight schools rarely have real flight simulators, because relative to the cost of a simulator, it’s more economical to train directly with a real aircraft, but the CIA is different, here they can simulate many types of aircraft flights, including but not limited to the F-22.
Now, Yang Yi was finally on the simulator.
Hegelhaus stood beside him and with an unemotional tone said, “Now, you are sitting in the aircraft, about to start preparing for takeoff, start with the procedures you know.”
The dashboard was virtual because the simulator could simulate more than just one type of aircraft.
Yang Yi pressed many buttons, powered up, checked the fuel level, and after running through all the pre-flight checks, he started the aircraft.
Carefully controlling the throttle and pushing the control stick, Yang Yi took off in the simulator for the first ti.

Now Hegelhaus didn’t doubt that Yang Yi was pretending anymore, because during the first simulated flight, Yang Yi’s performance truly showed he didn’t understand at all.
But his second attempt was near perfect.
After Yang Yi landed again, Hegelhaus imdiately said, “Set the weather this ti, um, let it be windy.”
Taking off and landing an aircraft during windy conditions definitely differs from normal conditions, it’s absolute.
Without experience, one wouldn’t know how to handle it, especially under strong crosswind conditions.
