988: Chapter 993: Nearly Perfect 988: Chapter 993: Nearly Perfect Frustrated in the sky, Yang Yi felt refreshed after landing, allowing him to study cheerfully.

By spending half a day and half a night, Yang Yi had finally finished the entire aircraft manual, and he could proudly claim he was knowledgeable about the T-6A aircraft.

At least next ti he boarded an aircraft, Yang Yi was certain he knew what each instrunt was for.

Yang Yi fell asleep easily, then the next day he woke up, had breakfast, and went on ti to et Hegelhaus.

Hegelhaus kept his word.

He personally took Yang Yi to the simulator.

Civic flight schools rarely have real flight simulators, because relative to the cost of a simulator, it’s more economical to train directly with a real aircraft, but the CIA is different, here they can simulate many types of aircraft flights, including but not limited to the F-22.

Now, Yang Yi was finally on the simulator.

Hegelhaus stood beside him and with an unemotional tone said, “Now, you are sitting in the aircraft, about to start preparing for takeoff, start with the procedures you know.”

The dashboard was virtual because the simulator could simulate more than just one type of aircraft.

Yang Yi pressed many buttons, powered up, checked the fuel level, and after running through all the pre-flight checks, he started the aircraft.

Carefully controlling the throttle and pushing the control stick, Yang Yi took off in the simulator for the first ti.

“Increase the throttle, control your attitude, start to pull up, a bit faster, pull up a bit more.”

Yang Yi was worried that Hegelhaus wouldn’t teach seriously, but he was overthinking it.

Although Hegelhaus didn’t like him, he was at least very serious and ticulous in teaching.

Understanding the principles doesn’t an you can do it, flying is like this of course.

Even if Yang Yi understood the aircraft structure and knew the use of instrunts, how could he know how much to pull back the control stick to successfully take off, or how much throttle was needed to reach the take-off speed?

Now Yang Yi knew all the instrunt flight data, but he still needed to know how to achieve those asurents.

Hegelhaus’s guidance was good, and Yang Yi’s simulated flight went very smoothly.

Smooth takeoff, smooth landing.

Smooth without any turbulence.

When the aircraft landed smoothly, Yang Yi turned his head to look at Hegelhaus.

Hegelhaus still seed emotionless, still staring at the simulator screen, motionless, not knowing what he was thinking about.

“Instructor, do you have anything you want to tell ?”

Hegelhaus suddenly inhaled, then said gravely, “Do it again.”

This ti, Yang Yi didn’t need guidance from Hegelhaus, he simply replicated everything he had just done.

A common mistake for beginners is imprecision in their hands, the throttle being too high or too low, oversteering or understeering, it always takes several tries to get a better handle, whether it’s flying or not, it’s the sa for beginners.

But Yang Yi didn’t behave like a beginner at all, his second attempt was better than what most people achieve on their twentieth try.

Now Hegelhaus didn’t doubt that Yang Yi was pretending anymore, because during the first simulated flight, Yang Yi’s performance truly showed he didn’t understand at all.

But his second attempt was near perfect.

After Yang Yi landed again, Hegelhaus imdiately said, “Set the weather this ti, um, let it be windy.”

Taking off and landing an aircraft during windy conditions definitely differs from normal conditions, it’s absolute.

Without experience, one wouldn’t know how to handle it, especially under strong crosswind conditions.

“You need to notice the impact of strong wind on the aircraft’s posture, adjust in ti, if the wind is coming from the left, you should veer the nose a bit to the left and tilt the wings even lower, now yaw a bit, and yaw more… good.”

Took off, landed, the first ti under Hegelhaus’s instructions, the second ti Yang Yi completed it alone, now he knew how to take off and land under the influence of a level seven crosswind, hmm, not sure how to handle level five winds, but it seems it’s not particularly important, as for level ten winds, no need to learn how to cope, because it’s impossible to take off in such strong winds.

“This ti we’ll learn how to fly in heavy rain, you’ll rely entirely on instrunt flight, um, night heavy rain.”

Hegelhaus set increasingly difficult conditions, but without exception, as long as Hegelhaus explained once, Yang Yi could replicate the correct procedure.

Finally, after the sixth ti, Hegelhaus breathed a sigh of relief and said, “Now, let’s conduct a comprehensive simulation, flying with instrunts in strong wind, heavy rain, dark night, and dense fog.”

Multiple weather combinations, Yang Yi swore there wouldn’t really be such weather conditions in actual flighticions, because… how could there be dense fog during heavy rain and strong wind, that’s a joke.

But Hegelhaus wanted Yang Yi to fly without even seeing the runway marker lights, what could Yang Yi do then.

Yang Yi took off successfully, then, he didn’t land smoothly, the plane flew too low and collided with a building.

The second ti, Yang Yi landed successfully but it was too late, the plane ended up running off the runway.

The third ti, Yang Yi successfully landed under impossible weather conditions, taking off wasn’t very difficult, mainly the landing, and he succeeded.

After Yang Yi finally succeeded once, Hegelhaus was silent for a while, then said softly, “Tomorrow, actual flight.”

Yang Yi felt he still needed to practice several more tis, flying under various weather conditions generated by the simulator.

“Can I practice a few more tis?

I want to get more familiar with it.”

Hegelhaus sighed, checked his watch, and said, “I’ll give you ti until noon, at twelve o’clock.

In the afternoon, others need to use the simulator.”

“What should I do in the afternoon?”

“Free activity, goodbye.”

Hegelhaus turned and walked away, Yang Yi shrugged, covertly stuck out his tongue, then he set the simulator to randomly generate various weather conditions, also randomly determined landing airports, and then set the difficulty to the highest.

Yang Yi treated the simulator like a big toy; he had never played with such a high-end toy before, even though he was a billionaire, as this simulator system was worth several million US dollars, and the developnt of this system was said to have cost over a billion US dollars.

Yang Yi played enthusiastically until he felt soone behind him, so he turned around and saw it was Reggie standing there.

“What’s up?”

“I’m here to inform you that your flying ti for tomorrow has been set, at ten in the morning, and also, it’s ti for you to leave now.”

Yang Yi imdiately said, “Wait until I land, I’m starting to return now.”

Soon, after landing the aircraft on the simulator, Yang Yi turned to the still-present Reggie and said, “Uh, anything else?”

Reggie hesitated for a mont, then spoke softly, “Did you upset Instructor Hegelhaus again?”
