Chapter 90: Throw it away Chapter 90: Throw it away Luo Shu spotted Luo Jiansen lingering at the doorway from afar, a cold sneer curling up the corners of her mouth as she walked over.

Seeing Luo Shu, Luo Jiansen’s body twitched involuntarily. Thinking of his current predicant, he managed to squeeze out a smile and greeted her, “Luo Shu, you’re back!”

“What are you doing here?!” Luo Shu asked coldly. She couldn’t stand Luo Jiansen. The original host had suffered nurous beatings at his hands.

With his hands fidgeting, Luo Jiansen spoke sowhat sheepishly, “I ca to see you all.”

“Now that you’ve seen us, you can leave.” Luo Shu said indifferently, then stepped forward to push open the courtyard gate. Although she disliked Luo Jiansen, she couldn’t deny him the right to see his children. But that was all!

Luo Jiansen cast a fearful glance at Fu Yi, who stood beside Luo Shu. This man sent a chill down his spine.

“Big sister, you’re back.” Hearing the door open, Luo Zheng ca out from the house.

Seeing Luo Jiansen following behind Luo Shu, Luo Zheng was taken aback, “Why are you here?” His feelings for Luo Jiansen were complicated: a mix of pity, concern, and mostly dissatisfaction.

He could remarry, but they were still his children. Even if he disliked them, he shouldn’t have joined Wang Liying in beating and scolding them, driving them out of the house.

“Xiao Zheng, Dad ca to see how you all were doing.” Luo Jiansen walked forward with a smile, peering into the house Luo Shu and the others lived in. Although it was small, it was neat and clean.

Moreover, both Luo Shu and Luo Zheng were dressed brightly and didn’t look like they ca from the village at all.

Luo Shan, who was picking vegetables in the kitchen, heard the noise outside and ca out. Seeing Luo Jiansen talking with Luo Zheng, her face revealed a surprised smile, “Dad, what brings you here?” Last ti she wanted to bring him so money, but on the way, she encountered human traffickers. Then, with her sister’s accident, she had forgotten about it.

“Xiao Shan, Dad ca today to see if you’re doing well.” Luo Jiansen walked up to Luo Shan, looking at her kindly. He could tell that Luo Shan’s feelings toward him were different from those of Luo Shu and the others. Maybe he could invest more effort in her.

“We’re doing very well. Dad, have you eaten yet?” Luo Shan asked sowhat excitedly. This was the first ti her father had spoken to her with such an attitude, and she couldn’t help feeling a sting in her nose.

Luo Jiansen’s eyes lit up, “Now that you ntion it, I am quite hungry. What’s there to eat?” He had been so hungry that his stomach was sticking to his back. If Luo Shu hadn’t been there, he would have already gone into the kitchen to find food.

“We have chicken soup, fish, and stir-fried greens,” Luo Shan said with a smile. Ever since they had moved here, they had at with almost every al. Her sister said they were growing and should eat better.

Luo Jiansen swallowed, his mouth watering, and he strode toward the kitchen, “Xiao Shan, quickly serve Dad a bowl of rice; I’m about to starve.” These brats are living quite the good life! He had to find a way to stay.

“Wait!” Luo Shu spoke up in a calm voice.

Only then did Luo Shan rember Luo Shu’s presence and nervously shrank back, “Sister!” She hadn’t seen Dad in so long and had forgotten everything in her excitent. Would her sister be angry with her for taking charge like this?

Luo Shu approached Luo Jiansen, “We don’t serve food here; you can leave now.”

“Luo Shu, I raised you all those years. Don’t I deserve a al at your hands?” Although Luo Jiansen was sowhat afraid of Luo Shu, he was more eager to eat at. It had been a long ti since he had tasted at; he was nearly starving for it.

“Do you want to throw you out?” Luo Shu asked coldly. So people, if you give them an inch, they’ll take a mile. If she let him stay and eat, he would end up squatting there and never leave.

“I am your father, you’re being unfilial!” Luo Jiansen pointed at Luo Shu, furious. He didn’t believe she would really throw him out. Wasn’t she afraid of what others would say if they saw her, wouldn’t they point at her spine?

Luo Zheng and Luo Shan exchanged looks, their mouths opening and closing, but they said nothing. Supporting either side felt wrong. Their sister had been good to them, providing them a stable life and warmth of a ho. But no matter how bad Luo Jiansen was, he was still their father.

“Fu Yi, please throw him out.” After Luo Shu spoke, she glanced at Luo Shan and Luo Zheng, then stepped into the house. If Luo Jiansen had been a good father, she wouldn’t have minded supporting him for a lifeti. But for soone so heartless toward his own children, she’d rather give her money to beggars than give him a cent.

Fu Yi nodded slightly, stepped forward, and, regardless of Luo Jiansen’s struggles and shouts, picked him up by the collar and threw him out of the courtyard. Luo Shu’s actions gave him a deeper understanding of her character.

“Dad!” Unable to watch any longer, Luo Shan followed him out.

Luo Zheng looked outside the door, then back inside the house, sighing softly as he shook his head. He didn’t think his sister’s approach was wrong, but he still didn’t feel good about it. After all, the person thrown out was their biological father.
