Chapter 826: 824, stage play Chapter 826: 824, stage play The stage lights dimd, and sparse snowflakes fell. Accompanied by a wave of music, a lodious singing voice rose, and as the music and plot progressed, the storyline beca captivating. The ballet music, existing apart from the dance, invoked even more imaginations in its appreciation.
The audience below watched the musical intently, their faces occasionally showing smiles, at tis anger, and sotis exhilaration… as if they themselves were characters in the story.
Not until the actors exited the stage and the music slowly faded, and the stage lights brightened again, did the crowd still imrsed in the performance manage to snap back to reality.
The host walked onto the stage, smiling faintly at the audience: “Thank you to the performance team for this musical, with its beautiful lodies and touching story that captivated everyone.”
“Clap clap clap!” The audience ca back to their senses, clapping vigorously.
The host smiled thinly, “I’m sure everyone still wants more. No worries, next up, another group from our performance team will bring us the musical ‘Liang Zhu’. Please enjoy.”
Amidst a scattering of applause, the host turned and walked off the stage.
The stage lights dimd again until the whole stage was shrouded in darkness.
In the darkness, a lodious piano sound slowly arose, gentle and beautiful, painting a picture of a sunny, spring day with birds singing and flowers blooming.
The audience was imdiately captivated by the beautiful and touching piano sound, all eyes fixed on the now darkened stage, eager to know who played such heart-stirring notes.
The piano sound gradually shifted from gentle to lingering and lodious, evoking a romantic yet poignant love story.
On stage, the lights slowly brightened revealing a young man in a white robe, elegant and handso walking onto the stage.
The audience’s gaze was imdiately drawn to him.
Just as the young man reached the center stage, the music suddenly changed, becoming passionate and dynamic.
Before the audience could react, the young man suddenly grabbed at his robe, which flew up and fluttered to the ground, and imdiately following, a beautiful woman in a black, sexy dance dress appeared.
The audience was stunned! They couldn’t imagine ‘Liang Zhu’ being interpreted in such a way.
The woman smiled sweetly, spun around, and burst into a passionate, modern Samba dance. At this mont, she seed like a free bird that finally broke free from heavy shackles and escaped the cage.
After her dance ended, the actor playing Liang Shanbo ca onto the stage, also in a white robe, looking refined and scholarly. To ensure a better stage effect, Luo Shu specifically had this dancer brought in from the dance academy.
Zhu Yingtai reappeared, now wearing that white robe.
The dance music gently started again, this ti with the light sound of flowing water, reflecting the joyful mood of Liang Shanbo and Zhu Yingtai’s first eting.
The audience below smiled collectively, completely captivated by the two characters on stage.
The light gradually dimd, and once it brightened again, a large bed with a book wall in the middle appeared on stage; Zhu Yingtai and Liang Shanbo each occupied one side.
“Shanbo, are you asleep?” Zhu Yingtai’s face was full of shyness and nervousness, clueless. This was her first ti sharing a bed with a man, her heart racing!
“Not yet!” Liang Shanbo’s brow furrowed slightly, as if troubled and worried about sothing. Had Yingtai applied scented powder? The faint scent made it impossible for to fall asleep.
“Boom!” Suddenly, a loud thunderclap sounded.
The entirely imrsed audience jumped in fright.
Then, with vibrant music, the large bed disappeared, and Liang Shanbo and Zhu Yingtai changed into glarous dance clothes, performing a passionate Latin dance. Their ardent dance perfectly depicted the inner turmoil, cluelessness, and sudden heartthrobs.
Seeing this, the audience’s faces showed surprise, curiosity, and amazent… a feast for both the eyes and ears that left a profound impression on everyone.
The final act, “Turning into Butterflies,” was the climax of the entire play. As Zhu Yingtai leaped into Liang Shanbo’s tomb, the stage again turned completely dark. At that mont, dozens of female actors wearing butterfly costus flitted beautifully.
Simultaneously, that heart-stirring moving piano sound again slowly rose.
“Green grass and blooming flowers, colorful butterflies linger long, love praised through ages deep and strong, Shanbo forever loves Yingtai. Three years together in class, side by side, without suspicion, eighteen etings with affection, who knew one goodbye at the tower. Hatred as vast as the sea from one farewell at the tower, tears dye the wings as the body turns into a butterfly, facing hardships the real love stays, unseparated for eternity. Ah~ ah~ ah~” Each actor on stage, moved by this poignant love legend, sang with a voice that was pure, clear, and touching.
As curtains fell, all actors bowed to the audience.
“Clap clap clap!” Thunderous applause rang out, and the audience stood up as one, as if to pay respects to the show.
“That was great! So wonderful to watch!”
“I’ve never seen a show as good as this.”
“Heart-stopping! Absolutely heart-stopping! I’d love to watch it again.”
The performance team mbers looked at each other and smiled helplessly, shaking their heads.
“We’ve lost again, but we’re convinced by the loss.” No need for audience voting, they already knew the result. Because in their hearts, they felt the sa.
“Indeed! Only she could adapt ‘Liang Zhu’ in such a captivating way, so stunning!”
“If our performance team could take down this script, we could surely stand out among all the teams.”
“That’s a great idea, I’ll talk to her after it ends.”
“Luo Shu, you’re truly a genius!” Mo Shaoze looked at Luo Shu with admiration, giving a thumbs up. Initially, when Ningning had told him, he was doubtful, but now he was thoroughly convinced.
“Believe it now? I told you Luo Shu would win.” Shen Anning smirked as she glanced at Mo Shaoze. After the performance started, she and Aunt Lu returned to their seats; they naturally couldn’t miss such a spectacular show.
Luo Shu touched her nose and smiled sheepishly. Only she and Hanmo knew that these were not her original ideas but that she had simply copied from a ‘Liang Zhu’ theatrical play she had seen in her previous life.
