Chapter 244: Two hundred forty-three, test Chapter 244: Two hundred forty-three, test Song Xiran slightly furrowed his brow, walked forward, and under the puzzled gazes of those around, reached out to pull up Yao Qing’s right hand. He pushed up her sleeve, and imdiately saw a long wound on her right wrist. The wound was deep, and the blood had already clotted. Could it really be suicide?
“Where’s the murder weapon?” Song Xiran turned his head and asked Yao Qing’s sister, Yao Lin.
“The public security officer has taken it away,” Yao Lin said through her sobs.
Song Xiran nodded, let go of Yao Qing’s hand, looked around the room, and walked out. He always felt that Yao Qing’s death was related to Luo Shu, but he found no evidence. If it were really Luo Shu who killed Yao Qing, then her thods were too clever.
After killing Yao Qing, Luo Shu didn’t leave the Yao Family, but instead entered her space to observe the outside situation.
Seeing Song Xiran co out from the Yao Family, Luo Shu’s lips curled up in interest, took out an Invisibility Talisman, activated it, beca invisible, and followed Song Xiran.
Song Xiran opened the car door, felt a breeze pass by his side, and frowned slightly. He scanned his surroundings carefully and found nothing, then bent down and sat in the car.
Luo Shu got into the car and imdiately entered her space. Song Xiran being a True Cultivator, he would definitely notice her presence given enough ti.
The car sped along the road, and when they reached a secluded area, Luo Shu casually threw a Fla Talisman out of her space. She knew that this fla wouldn’t kill Song Xiran; she only wanted to test his strength.
Song Xiran’s eyebrows twitched as he felt imminent danger, his body reacting swiftly as he pushed open the door and jumped out of the car.
Turning to look at his car, he saw it wholly engulfed by raging flas.
“Damn it!” Song Xiran angrily pounded the ground.
Standing up, he intended to walk back to the Song Family but felt another dangerous aura approaching. He promptly dodged and, at the sa ti, threw out several Formation Flags to block the danger.
“Snap, snap, snap!” Several sharp Ice Needles were blocked by the formation outside.
“Who’s there? Show yourself!” Song Xiran was certain he was indeed being targeted. If not for his keen sense of danger and his decent mastery of formations, he would have fallen into the assailant’s trap by now.
Seeing that her attack was blocked by Song Xiran, Luo Shu sneered coldly and turned to walk into the distance. She wasn’t ready to kill Song Xiran yet, for she didn’t know the extent of the force behind him. If she killed Song Xiran, they would surely suspect her. At this ti, she hadn’t grown strong enough to confront such a force.
Song Xiran waited a long while, and seeing that the foe made no further moves, carefully sensed his surroundings, confird it was safe, gathered his Formation Flags and quickly ran towards the Song Family’s direction. Who could have attacked him just now? Could it really be Luo Shu?
But he soon dismissed his own guess. If Luo Shu had such strength, she would have certainly gone to the Song Family to take Luo Shan away, and she wouldn’t have let him off so easily. But then, who could it be?
The next morning, Luo Shu ca to the hospital, ready to take Luo Zheng back to Cloud City.
Luo Zheng had already packed his belongings, which were nothing more than so hygiene products and a couple of clothes, provided by the Lu family.
Luo Zheng looked at Luo Shu several tis, unsure if he should speak up.
“Speak if you have sothing to say,” Luo Shu said indifferently.
“Big sister, are we really not going to save Second Sister?” Luo Zheng finally asked. Second Sister was currently with the Song Family, and he was genuinely worried about her.
Luo Shu gave Luo Zheng a faint look, “Do you think we have the ability to save her?” She had given Luo Shan several chances, but each ti she had been a disappointnt. She could rescue her from the Song Family this ti, but what about next ti? Might she commit the sa mistakes again if soone else misled her?
Luo Zheng bowed his head and remained silent. Yes, even if his big sister was so powerful, how could she stand a chance against the Song Family?
“Let’s go,” Luo Shu said lightly. After this incident, she realized she couldn’t treat Luo Zheng the sa as before. Even if she could pretend nothing was wrong on the surface, a barrier had already ford in her heart.
“Okay!” Luo Zheng nodded, picked up his things, and followed Luo Shu. His heart was heavy, knowing that his and his big sister’s relationship could never go back to how it was.
“Little Divine Doctor! Xiao Zheng!” Aunt Li and Uncle Li ca towards them with smiles. Luo Shu had told them the previous day that she and Luo Zheng would be returning to Cloud City today, so they had co specially to see them off.
“Xiao Zheng, your leg is healed? Little Divine Doctor’s dical skills are truly amazing!” Uncle Li expressed his surprise upon seeing that Luo Zheng was able to walk.
“Uncle! Aunt! Thank you for taking care of these days, I will co to visit you,” Luo Zheng bowed to them. He would always rember their kindness.
“You’re being too formal with us again!” Aunt Li pretended to scold.
“Aunt, uncle, why don’t you co back to Cloud City with us?” Luo Shu said. After all, her house in Cloud City was large, and more people would make it livelier. Besides, after this incident, she was sowhat worried about their safety.
“How could that be appropriate?” Aunt Li quickly waved her hands to decline.
“Aunt, uncle, please co with us. Once in Cloud City, I and my big sister can take care of you,” Luo Zheng also tried to persuade them. He was genuinely concerned about them.
“At our age, following you would just be a burden,” Uncle Li said. In fact, he was sowhat tempted, for he had grown fond of Luo Zheng during these days. However, with so many old neighbors around, he also found it hard to leave.
“Yeah, we’d better not join you,” Aunt Li added with a smile. She was moved by their offer but felt that changing locations at her age would not be easy. Plus, they had lived here for more than twenty years, having ford deep bonds.
“How about you co with us and stay for a while? If you’re not comfortable, you can always co back,” Luo Zheng persisted. He was really reluctant to leave them; though they hadn’t been together long, he had experienced a warmth and concern from them he had never felt before.
“Alright, don’t try to convince us any further. When you have ti, just co to visit us,” Aunt Li said with a smile, reaching out to grasp Luo Zheng’s hand and patting it gently. She was also reluctant to see him leave, but if he stayed in Jinchen, those bad people wouldn’t leave him alone.
