The feeling of pressure seed to be increasing more and more as Clark stared in to the darkness ahead. He was barely able to even take five steps forward before he began to sweat. By the ti he tried to take the sixth step forward, he was completely frozen in place.
That was until Crim growled and bit down on his arm causing Clark to jump up in pain. The bite was not deep but it had shocked him completely. Crim had seen Devi do this to Clark before and felt that it was the right move.
"Why did you just bite like that it hurt…Wait, I feel a lot better now." Clark felt his body wondering why he had been so afraid to move just a mont again. His eyes turned toward the darkness and used the system's analysis on it.
' darkness sli- rare
The darkness sli is a variant of dark sli. They have the unique ability to cause fear using two oddly developed eyes that float within their gray sli body. They are rare to co across because they can only even form in complete darkness. They are very weak and have no other attacks other than scaring their opponent to death using their fearful gaze.'
"This entire dungeon is just trying to ss with !" There was only an annoying feeling now as Clark pointed out the single darkness sli to Crim and Devi to go on and attack. The cave seed to beco much brighter the movent that they two shattered its core. Devi had been able to bite right through it and Crim had walked right through its body.
The darkness sli proved to be even weaker than Clark expected.
"Let's just go down to the last floor and see what we have to deal with." Clark was more than done with this. He had been tricked by the lightning sli and almost been zapped to death if he hadn't brought extra clothing. Now he was ssed with by a sli that didn't even have any attack or defensive ability. It was an insult!
The descending tunnel was leading the sa way that the lightning sli tunnel had to the darkness sli, however, Clark had begun to notice an odd sll. One that made his nose scrunch up. It was worse than sour milk on a hot day.
"This can't be the last floor I have to get through. It's disgusting." the last trick that the dungeon had for him seed to be the grossest one yet. Instead of elental type sli, Clark was looking at an odd purple goo.
'Rot sli- rare
The rot sli is incredibly unique. It is created from a concentrated amount of rotting juices and solid material. The rot sli is unique because it can use its body to rot away and poison anything it touches. The very ground it rolls over becos poisoned for many years. It may lack attacks but has decent defense along with its poisonous body.
However, what makes it unique and separate from an acid sli is that it has a slight amount of death energy within its core. Therefore, the crystals it drops are considered half poison and half death energy. These crystals within its core are often used to create poisons or exterminate large nests of pests.'
"Devi, they sll terrible but they have sothing you need. We have to harvest every single crystal here." The slis were no longer looking like gross blobs of purple ooze. Instead, Clark saw big signs around them screaming for them to be beaten and taken for Devi's growth.
The only problem was that if Crim touched them he might get so negative decaying effects. It wasn't a guarantee that his body could withstand the damage. "Devi, I don't think you can survive this either. If you touch those your body could be affected by the death energy. I'm not worried about the poison." Devi had not yet faced a monster that used death energy against him.
It was too risky to test this here and now.
"That leaves my spear and the black needles. But the needles might rot away before I get them back. So I have to sacrifice my spear…" The idea that Clark would lose the spear he had borrowed from the school was rough. He would have to pay and replace it while also getting a new spear. "Whatever, I can spend the money!"
Clark let Crim and Devi watch his back while he carefully avoided the puddles of purple sli. He swung his spear in slashing motions to cut away parts of the sli's bodies. He followed with constant falling moon pierces so that the cores would shatter.
This wasn't the most efficient thod and the wear on the spear beca clear. The spearhead was turning purple and steaming. It was rotting away before Clark's eyes. However, he was not going to throw it away. Until the spear had lted, he would not give up.
"That's seven!" Clark had used the ghostly steps to speed up and dodge the puddles of purple goo on the ground. It seed that the slis had even eaten away at the stone the dungeon was made out of. It even revealed cracks that Clark was unsure led anywhere.
"I don't think many people make it here. It's just a dead…hm?" There was a slight glimr of light that caught Clark. He had studied the area while fighting. When his eyes focused on the crack that the light glimred through, he realized there was a blocked passageway that the slis had partially uncovered.
"Crim, charge at this wall." The smirk that Clark had was simple and brilliant. He was going to claim whatever was hiding behind this wall.
With a large roar, Crim used all of his strength and threw himself at the wall until the entire room rumbled. The wall fell away nearly crushing Clark. It had been risky to attempt sothing, yet Clark had not been worried since the dungeon beast would have pulled him out of danger.
'Grand dungeon core-Ultra rare (owned)
This is a dungeon core made up of multiple dungeon cores created when multiple tars gave their taming spaces as sustenance to a singular beast. This dungeon core is owned by a mighty beast of the space type. It has been highly modified to record ssages from the beast to give to those outside the dungeon. The beast can watch any floor from this core room.
If this core is destroyed, all living beings will be forcefully sent out of the dungeon before it collapses.'
"You are not permitted to be within this room student. This is a forbidden place to all who are not myself or my master's spirit." The voice ca from all around Clark. He had been caught up looking at the pure white orb of light floating in the middle of the room. Yet, the more he looked the less he found. There was no beast in this room.
"Foolish child, I am all around you. I am the one and only king sli within this dungeon. My master raised to be the most powerful space sli in the entire world! Bask in my glory!" The arrogant words were not false. The sli proceeded to transport Clark around the room to prove its point. Clark was completely thrown out of his mind, unsure what to say or do.
