Chapter 11 Drowned Undead
“Is it over? You got the ghost?” a tense voice ca from behind Ye Shaoyang .
“Didn’t I tell you not to co down?”
“Hehe . I’m here to save the lady . ” As he ca over, he stopped abruptly and looked at the lady . Her sexy body and pink underwear almost gave him a nosebleed as well .
Ye Shaoyang went to the branch and took down the hanging belt . Then, he passed it to Xiao Ma and told him, “Go put it back on her jeans . ”
“?” Xiao Ma’s face beca red as an apple . He threw up both his hands and said, “No way man . I don’t even know her, so this is not appropriate man . I’ll beco a pervert . ”
Ye Shaoyang answered with disdain, “Aren’t you already a pervert? This is a good chance for you to eat her tofu . Why the sudden lack of courage?”
Xiao Ma laughed sillily, “I am a pervert but a noble pervert . Right now, she is unconscious, so I will not take advantage of her . Why don’t you do it, and do it quick . If she wakes up and finds out she doesn’t have her pants on … we’ll be in deep trouble . ”
Ye Shaoyang scratched his head in irritation and reluctantly said, “Okay, okay, I’ll do this just once, but don’t tell her I did this to her . ”

After that, she bit Xiao Ma’s arm .
“Ah! Lady! Lady, you’ve got it all wrong . We’re here to save you!”
Fortunately, the lady still rembered what had happened before she beca unconscious . She knew that no one kidnapped her . As such, she let Xiao Ma’s arm go and listened to his explanation . Even so, she was still very confused and unconvinced . Then, she looked to Ye Shaoyang for his explanation .
“What he said … is it true; did you really saved my life? Also, this world has spirits?”
Ye Shaoyang did not answer her . Instead, he squatted in front of the dead water and quietly observed it . Even though it was a pool of dead water, it still had so subtle movents; small but noticeable waves would sotis form .
“Why are you looking at the pool of dead water?” After the lady bit him, Xiao Ma was not very fond of staying around her . As such, he ca beside Ye Shaoyang and asked what he was doing . Xiao Ma poked his head past Ye Shaoyang to see what was up with the water .
Ye Shaoyang dipped his finger into the water and tasted it . Then, his eyebrows raised with suspicion .
“Are you that thirsty?” Xiao Ma asked, “If you’re thirsty, just tell . I’ll go and buy so water for you . You don’t need to drink this crappy water!”
Ye Shaoyang ignored him and said, “There’s a drowned undead in here . It is very powerful and has absorbed all the cultivation of that female ghost . That was why the female spirit was that weak . ”
“What’s a drowned undead?” Xiao Ma asked curiously . Suddenly, as though to answer his question, a big hand reached out from the pool and grabbed his hair . Then, it pulled him into the pool of dead water!
With a big splash, Xiao Ma fell into the pool . The hand almost dragged him down to the bottom, but Ye Shaoyang drew his wooden sword and accurately stabbed at the drowned undead . Luckily, this forced the undead to let go off Xiao Ma, and Ye Shaoyang quickly pulled him back to land . Xiao Ma was excessively shocked . He had a stunned expression, and his body was sitting there motionless . After a while of silence, he ca to his senses and quickly crawled back away from the pool . Then, he asked with a trembling voice, “W-What the f*ck was that!”
“Drowned undead,” Ye Shaoyang explained, “These undead are ford when a person drowns, and their spirit does not reincarnate . Instead, it will rejoin its rotting body . Their blood would beco corpse poison, and their bodies are usually very rotten and stinky . ”
“I … I … I think I felt sothing when I was down there . Sothing soft, was it that thing?”
Just thinking about it scared Xiao Ma, as he quickly wiped the dirty water off his face . However, the sll was very unbearable . As he cleaned, he felt sothing on his other hand; he looked down to see a ss of black tar . At first glance, it seed like mud and leaves, but upon closer inspection, it was revealed to be rotting flesh and strands of hair . This sight grossed him out, and he quickly rubbed his hand on the grass, hoping the grass would help to clean it off . With a crumbled scream he said, “I can’t do this anymore, I want to go back and have a shower!”
Ye Shaoyang took out so dried Mugwort Leaf . Originally, he intended to help Xiao Ma clean up . But, he got a whiff of the horrible sll coming from Xiao Ma’s body, and Ye Shaoyang quickly pinched his nose . Then, he threw the leaves to Xiao Ma, “Rub them on your neck . It’ll prevent the effects of the corpse poison . ”
Sticky rice was often the best thing to neutralize corpse poison, but if there was none, the second best thing would be Mugwort Leaves .
His words shocked Xiao Ma shocked; quickly, Xiao Ma picked up the dried leaves . He started to rub the leaves on the places where the thing had touched him . As he rubbed the leaves, white fus started to form; there were also audible sizzling sounds .
“Motherf*cker, what a*s luck! I told you not to co here, but you insisted . You said it was going to be a piece of cake …” Xiao Ma complained, as he beca teary .
Ye Shaoyang looked at his dirty and shaken up friend and shook his head in sympathy .
The lady he saved monts before walked down the hill . She looked at them with a stunned expression . She was barely able to accept the event she had just witnessed . The lady approached them and asked in a tense voice, “This place is really haunted . What do we do now?”
“We’ll get the drowned corpse up, and I’ll kill it,” Ye Shaoyang answered casually . What had just occurred completely did not affect his tone . He was still very calm and confident .
The lady was dumbfounded and asked, “But isn’t that thing in the pool of water? How are you going to get it? Jump in?”
Ye Shaoyang rolled his eyes . Only a fool would jump into that pool of stinky water . Then, he turned around and intently looked at Xiao Ma . A slight smirk appeared on Ye Shaoyan’s face, and he said, “Why don’t you do the honorable thing and sacrifice yourself to lure the corpse out?”
“?” Xiao Ma eyes beca as big as coins . He shook his hands strongly in protest, “No, no, no . I don’t even know magic . If I go down, I’ll definitely get eaten up!”
Ye Shaoyang continued, “I’ve got a solid plan . It won’t be able to harm you . I just need you to let it catch you for a bit … . ”
“Hell no . I am not going down there, not in a million years!”
“Co on man . Don’t you know you need to earn your virtues for your next life? You never know, you might just reincarnate into a fit and handso man . ”
“I would rather stay as a fatty for the next eight lives than to jump into that pool!” Xiao Ma spoke with strong conviction . He did not budge at all, “Well if it is so good, why don’t you jump in yourself!”
Ye Shaoyang beca speechless . Even though this fatty was not smart, he was not dumb enough to jump into a fire pit—no wait—a water pit . Well, I guess there’s no other way . I’ll just have to sacrifice so of my own stuff . Ye Shaoyang sighed, as he opened his bag and took out a pack of Realgar Powder . After that, he began to unwillingly dump it all into the pool .
“What is that stuff?” Xiao Ma asked curiously .
“Realgar Powder . Its a type of dicine that has the ability to expel evil spirits . ”
Xiao Ma suddenly rembered sothing and said, “Was it in the show Legend of the White Snake? The show where Fa Hai fed realgar wine to Bai Suzhen, which turned her back into a snake . ”
“That was Xu Xian, not Fa Hai,” the lady corrected him . Then, she looked to Ye Shaoyang and asked, “What do we do now?”
Ye Shaoyang put his hands on his waist, as he stood beside the pool, “Just give it so ti, the corpse will co up on its own . ” When Xiao Ma and the lady heard that the corpse was going to co up, they quickly took a few steps back . Suddenly, Xiao Ma rembered sothing and angrily asked, “Hey if it was this simple, why did you ask to jump down?”
Ye Shaoyang rolled his eyes and said, “Do you know how expensive realgar is? I was just trying to save so money . ”
“What the f*ck, I’m not even worth a pack of realgar powder?”
“Realgar powder has the ability to expel evil . Can you expel evil?”
The lady laughed and said jokingly, “He’s ugly enough to expel evil spirits . ”
